The lies you tell yourself, help you cope with the realities you can't face.

It is gynocentrism plain and simple. The complaint of women having to do all the emotional labor in a relationship is another example of women believing that the way they roll is the correct way; and anything a man does, or doesn't do, or believes, or prefers, or desires or wants is deeply wrong, or flawed, or defective. and that if men just did what women wanted them to do, everything would be fine. Sorry, I don't buy it; I'm not gonna feel bad about it; and I am definitely not gonna have my ea…

The second I hear a woman mention "emotional labor" I'm like... next!

"There's a reason these relationships have a high FAILURE RATE." Marriages in general have a high failure rate (higher if you add permanently separated). I have not seen any numbers on the age gap category being significantly higher than the average failure rate. Also, love fades, but cash flow lasts forever. Frankly, I suspect that transactional marriages have a lower divorce rate than hormone fueled "love" base marriages.

"then who cares?" Apparently alot of people care, attempting to police what is acceptable and is not acceptable for consenting adults to do together. It is busybodyism and mostly coming from women. Ironically (and perhaps no surprise at the hypocricy), women overwhelming have a "you go girl" attitude when they see older women hooking up w younger men.

We live with Paleolithic impulses, mediated by Midieval institutions as we navigate modern financial realities and wield god-like technologies.

"Women don’t need anything from men anymore" Western women? > largely yes. The need list is short but the want list is long. There is still much of the world where the traditional exchanges of value between men and women creates a complimentary working partnership where each participant fulfills largely mutually exclusive roles.

Where do you think "my truth" came from? From the Feminist movement's assertion that you may not question a woman's lived experiences. Meaning her subjective truth that she is telling you trumps the objective truth.

People tend to see in others what they see in themselves. If you have been whoring around, it makes you feel better to believe everyone whores around.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 01:49 AM

Women lie to themselves about their beliefs, motivations and goals. And then they tell "my truth" to men about their beliefs, motivations and goals. From an Evo Psych point of view women needed to develop this "morally flexible" architecture, bc women's reproductive strategy from the very beginning of our species has been to stand at the finish line and fvck the winners. And at that moment if their world view isn't "working" to land that Alpha, the worldview gets changed. You can yell at the clo…

"this is absolutely not science and I'm glad you agree" I don't agree w you. My point was that I don't care to argue w you or anyone else, for that matter, on Reddit about what is "science"; and is Evo Psych a science.

And my point is that you can call it what you want, I don't care. It has a pretty good track record of pointing people towards explanations that make sense for behaviours that are observed.

Evo Psych does not pretend to be a "unified field theory" - it does not offer the one equation that predicts all outcomes in the human behavior universe. Having said that, at times it explains a great deal. While its not the "one ring to rule them all" it is directionally correct.

because women lie to themselves about what they believe & value; and then they lie to you about what they believe & value.

As a woman you are unable to perceive how (as a practical matter) Family Court is stacked against men. First and foremost, Family Court is not a court of law, but rather court of equity. This means that Family Court Judges have enormous discretionary powers. In Family Court "the law" is facially neutral, but with the Judges enormous discretionary powers, the results do not land well on men. Often the man is the only man in the room. Judge, and both attorneys are overwhelmingly women. As for your…

In USA divorce proceedings Family Court Judges can impute (assign) additional income to a parent when the Judge concludes that the parent can and should be earning more. (Example: a former lawyer who is still licensed to practice law but previously decided to change careers and now make substantially less.) When a judge imputes income, the judge will calculate child support based on a higher income amount (an amount that the Judge thinks the parent could be earning) than what the parent is actua…

"women don't run from the men they want." >THIS< ------- Apparently I was waaayy ahead of my time. But I thought I was just being lazy or didn't really care. Starting at age 17 the GFs just kinda presented themselves and made their interest apparent. I thought that that was just how it worked. Men choose, then women decide. That is the flow chart. You can like it, you can hate it - but that is the dance since time immemorial. Complain all you like, but it's shouting at the sky about the weather.

"It’s about how, almost everywhere... women still often have to walk on eggshells to protect fragile egos." Once again your personal experience with men is extrapolated out to be a universal quality of all men. ------------ . "If the reality I described bothers you, maybe it’s because it hits closer to home than you’d like to admit." When you don't have logic on your side just fall back on the good old reliable Ad Hominem attack.

"if you feel the need to tip toe around a man, are worried about his reaction and need to fluff his ego then he’s not, and tbh never was ‘one of the good ones’" ... or maybe you are reading the situation wrong because you have mental problems like low self esteem or insecurities which skew your perception of reality.

Your entire argument seems to be based solely upon your personal experience and the experiences of 2 cherry picked media personalities. You are engaging in inductive reasoning, namely that> "The results of my sample size of 3, accurately reflect the realities of the larger population of 150 million". A sample size of 3 ain't gonna do that. In short, the premise of your argument is (from a statistical analysis point of view) not based in fact.

if you are gonna do duty sex you still gotta perform - no starfish sex. I have always appreciated women who put in a good performance. Sometimes the "fake it till you make it" thing kicks in and the she actually starts to enjoy it. In any event I appreciate the performance. Part of the performance is faking that you want it and are enjoying it. "You cannot tweak culture and society a little bit and suddenly the dating market is balanced out" All I got to say on this reality is a rif on Andrew Breitbart's famous quote about politics. The dating market is downstream from the culture. And right now the culture is pretty fucked up. Feminism's relentless (an successful) attacks an everything having to do w how men and women relate to each other has gotten us to where we are now (where largely no one is happy).

""Don't shit where you eat" is a good rule to follow if you have a decent job and responsibilities. As far as the OP is concerned, if he is a 20-something in the service industry (prob), get paid minimumly and DGAF if he gets fired, his job provides a low risk/high yield environment for him to "party" w his co-workers.

No matter how unappealing a man is, there are women somewhere on the planet who will accept him (assuming he is not a sociopath). Men who complain they can't pull a woman are probably not pricing themselves right in the sexual marketplace. This observation assumes, of course, that the man in question is actually in the sexual marketplace; meaning he is not some basement dweller who lives on delivered pizza and never sees the light of day.

"If you didn't have the money, those women would not date you" I agree w you and I am OK w the trade. There are plenty of beautiful women I can't attract or afford to keep- I freely admit that and I am not angry about it. That is how the sexual marketplace works. "if you didn't have MONEY the women there wouldn't want you, this is the facts." I agree w you and I don't have a problem with it. Don't kid yourself - Speaking generally nearly all women want men who make bank. The more a man makes, the more most women are attracted to his total package. At bottom all relationships are transactional. The only difference is the degree in which the parties are explicitly clear (if at all ) about it (both to themselves and to each other). "fly to 2nd/3rd world countries where the value of their mediocre income is inflated" Ah, not inflated but rather increased. In business this is normal, accepted, smart locational arbitrage. You can't sell ice to an Eskimo, but transport it to Florida and you increased its locational value. "society push women to appeal to the male gaze to gain some power" No - It's not a societal construct. Society isn't "pushing" women to this. It is fundamental evolutionary psychology at work. Men and women each use what they got (what appeals to the other sex) to get what they want/need. That is the game of life. Like it or not, it's real. Recognize it and deal with it. Else, it's just screaming at the sky about the weather.

I appreciate you digging into Evo Psych. Post menopausal women engage in cosmetic procedures in an attempt to look more beautiful. Why do this if they can no longer reproduce? - in order to increase their chances of attracting higher value men who are attracted to beauty (the men don't know why they find certain attributes attractive - it's hard wired). Men who don't desire to reproduce are still attracted to those signals of reproductive vitality in women, even menopausal women. At least that i…

"Women do things to improve their appearance because it improves their self confidence and can give them a way to artistically express themselves" I call BS. That is the lie they tell men ... and perhaps/probably themselves and their feminist girlfriends. Depends where you live. Different cultures approach marriage and divorce differently. Different cultures create laws which incentivize divorce in some places and discourage it in others. Bottom line for me ( guy who is in decent shape, not crazy or abusive, with meaningful assets) I would be out of my mind to get married (regardless of whether or not children are in the equation).
