Thankfully there’s more guys out there in medicine that are aware of these issues! I’m approaching 30 and I’m a midlevel, it’s hard being in this situation when you become aware. Most of your coworkers are going to be women who constantly gossip and sadly most older male docs that I’ve worked with have the old blue pilled ‘happy wife happy life’ bs and get ran over financially (usually the house wife is controlling the $). And don’t get me started on the anxiety I now have for medmal or just com…

Yep. It makes me very sad and pessimistic about life. I feel like my generation cannot live without a screen. I was recently at a wedding and all of the 40+ year olds were talking, moving around, etc. and then the 20 year olds can't stop taking selfies and checking social media for their attention fix every 5 minutes. I just wonder what the world would be like if the internet was stopped for even just a single day

I think that's where I'm heading as well. Having a social group is a very easy way to meet people and have potential hookups. The problem with social media networking is that you need to be a 10/10 and must be very interesting/loaded/etc. as a male to get anywhere due to the shear number of men that use it. Also, I'd rather just meet up with new women in person to get a feel for who they are and if we even vibe. So many women post their best (false advertisement) pictures and seem cool through a…

Basically this. It's so fucking scary. I went out to a bar not too long ago to try to meet some women (recently single, no plans on ever dating again) and literally 50-75% of the women were standing in groups and were all on their phones, taking selfies, and shrugging off any guy that approached. Like what the fuck? I just don't get women my age anymore (mid 20s). I feel like for my own sanity I may target 30+ year old women since they seem to actually appreciate men's attention/time at least mo…

How's everything going for you? I'm in a very similar situation - ~6 year relationship just ended a few weeks ago (dated from 19->25). I just found out about TRP last week and it's been a mind blowing experience. It really helps with the breakup process, it's also very rejuvenating to have a whole new perspective on dating and life in general; I like the idea of valuing myself more than any pussy. I feel like once you truly don't give a fuck and embrace it then the pussy will come as these women…

Much appreciated! I've been hitting the gym again and I've got a few books on my read list, I can't wait to dig into 'No more Mr. nice guy'

I don't see her very often, she's more of an acquaintance. I pointed out to her how much she complains about everything and then she gave me the silent treatment haha so that's a win in my opinion.

True that. I'm relatively new to TRP (<1 week), I'm still trying to adopt this new way of thinking so I appreciate your input!

That's a valid point. I just got really pissed off today and I probably cared more than I should. The problem though is that women aren't really losing attention with time - I see unattractive women in their 40s/50s who get tons of attention at work.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
