Im getting divorcedContact your embassy immediately and let them know of your current situation. 10 Euro allowance is not enough to survive. Also, be very honest with your family to coordinate your return. It sucks she didn’t give your money, but in a situation like this it might be wiser to eat up your losses and return home for the sake of your well being or just count it as a $5k vaccination. You are still young and will have plenty of time. Best of luck, OP! | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/05/22 04:24 PM

How Long is an Appropriate Break from Dating/Meeting Women from Announcement/Final Papers?Wait until the divorce is finalized, don't do the "be discreet" route. That could make you look bad. I have waited until my divorce was finalized and took a few months relearn myself. As far as dating, a lot of females in my age group have never-been married, so I couldn't really connect with those I have matched. There is also the divorced man stigma, especially if you have been recently divorced some woman see that as a red flag which is understandable. I have also met a lot of folks who got i… | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/02/22 06:43 AM
Interested in women. But what’s a turn off/red flag for you?Especially if they have names tattooed on their collar bone. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/02/22 05:30 AM
Does anyone else have trouble connecting to other people emotionally? Some of us do and it's totally normal to feel like that, especially if you have been hurt! This is your defense mechanism! It will take some time to heal, try to find things that you couldn't do when you were together with your ex. Feel free to PM me if you need someone to talk. | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/12/21 03:00 AM
It has been 2 days since she leftIt will get better, OP! Embrace that quiet house, that there is peace! | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/12/21 08:47 PM
Do I need a lawyer?Well, if both of you agree %101 to file for divorce and if there is no division of assets etc then you really don't need a lawyer, you could maybe even file a summary dissolution. could she still try and go after some of my income? You need to ask those questions to yourself, OP! If you are unsure about that then maybe seek for legal advice. A divorce is not easy, people can change and surprise you last minute. Wish you all the best! | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/11/21 05:51 AM
Do I need a lawyer?Dude, if I was making that much I would hire an entire law firm. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/11/21 05:29 AM

1 year post divorce ventA divorce can change your perspective on dating, at least it was for me in case. I find it exhausting to meet and get to know someone. Investing time and love into this new person, I used to be very poetic and romantic, but then divorce happened and my perspective on relationships changed. I have had my divorce in my twenties and after sometime passed decided to date and meet new people. Most of the people I have met In my age group have never been married, and as a divorced men it was hard to c… | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/07/21 05:59 AM
Those recently final or about to be. What is your best piece of advice for someone in the early stages?I feel you, I have been there too! Start trying only when you truly know what you want! I went out and dated many women after my divorce, but gave up a month later. I don't want to put energy into getting to know someone and spend my life with them again. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/07/21 10:02 PM
Those recently final or about to be. What is your best piece of advice for someone in the early stages?I’m sorry to hear that! And glad you are still here with us! I think it’s important that one does not jump into another relationship right after a separation or divorce. This is a good time to self reflect, heal and set your priorities right or reseting your inner compass. A divorce is one of those rare reset buttons in life; it will either bring you down or make you stronger. Don’t get me wrong, I have went out and dated to experiment, meet woman who where also recently divorced etc. but at the… | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/07/21 01:53 AM
Just granted my divorce an hour ago!Congratulations OP! Wishing you all the best for your new chapter in life!!! | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/07/21 05:40 PM
Those recently final or about to be. What is your best piece of advice for someone in the early stages?Do not date and avoid casual hook-ups right after your separation or divorce!!! Allow yourself to heal and enjoy your own company. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/07/21 02:23 PM
May be joining the club soon.Start documenting everything and don’t delete any text messages etc until everything is situated. You can file on your own. Generally it’s easier when both sides come to a mutual agreement and there are no division of assets etc. Overall this process sucks, but if you truly want a divorce and think this is the best for you then trust us. It will get better for you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/06/21 09:31 PM
Short term marriage. No kids involved. Is a lawyer necessary?Since there are no kids involved and if both of you truly agree on the division of assets then you really don’t need a lawyer. If you don’t see any risks then you could file it yourself and both of you could save money. Do your research, check your state requirements etc. You could also contact a lawyer for consultation, there are some that are free if not fairly cheap. Good luck OP | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/03/21 04:40 PM
I’m newHello fellow brother, life will get better for the both of you. It’s going to take some time, but things will get better. | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/02/21 10:00 PM
Is Deadbedroom and Sexless marriage goo enough reason for Divorce? It is a stupid reason. If sex is so important, then don't get married. If you are using deadbedroom and sexless marriage as a reason for divorce then that means there is another issue and sexless marriage is just an basic excuse. Honestly man, there are so many other things that are better than sex. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/02/21 06:16 AM
Headed for divorce not sure what to do or where to turn toSeriously dude, what were you thinking.... Cheating is never the answer. Based on your post the only advice I can give: If there are no kids involved, then walk out. Own up to your mistake and find closure. You cheated, the last honorable thing you can do would be giving her a peaceful divorce. Going after the listing device just makes you look worse. Look it this way; she was trying to find answers to what you did. Wouldn’t you do the same? | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/02/21 08:47 PM
