I wouldn’t take it personally. In the "talking stage", you shouldn't be attached enough to a man to care if he stops responding. Most men engage in scrotey behavior and you blocking him back immediately is the best reaction, because more than likely he will come back.

Honestly, therapy and potentially medication. In college I use to put myself in dangerous sexual predicaments with men, without knowing that I was mentally ill with bipolar. I‘m not saying that is what you are experiencing, but I too thought promiscuous behavior was the norm because “everyone is doing it”. 10 years later, I am in therapy, have a psychiatrist, and am on a medication that locks away those urges. Yep. Men are now using psychobabble to manipulate and violate women. It’s so common now to run into men who talk about being in therapy to get women to feel sorry for them and to “seem” vulnerable.

When I use to OLD, a man once told me that he was done being a fuckboy and is now ready to settle down. He thought he was being admirable for acknowledging his past shitty behavior and that I would even be open to giving him a chance. It was an instant block...and that was when I stopped OLD lol.
