I remember Zac Efron said how hard getting his Baywatch body was on his mental and physical health, but hey! He looks hot so that's all that should matter! /s I don't think many women truly realize how difficult getting that kind of body is. I have been doing planks for months and there's still remnantants of my beer gut left. I'm in good shape and look good, but I'm still not deemed sexy enough because I'm not ridiculously shredded. It's fucking bullshit.

I still remember a girl complementing me on my Nirvana shirt six years ago. That's how little I get compliments from women, despite being pretty good looking.

I never understood how a tiny flap of foreskin is somehow gonna give women HIV, or cause UTIs in men. We don't perform clitorectomies on girls because of any idea that their vagina is somehow gonna hurt them. So why do doctors in the US feel so much of a need to push pseudoscience to fit a men-are-terrible-and-will-hurt-you narrative? Hell, here in the west we're too much of gynocentrists that we refuse to even call it mutilation, we tiptoe around the idea and call it circumcision to make it sou…

Its your funeral man. Eat as much garbage as you want, but don't bitch about vegans or soybeans when your health goes to shit. If you talk and think like this it's no wonder why you're in the situation you're in. If all you eat is animal products, perhaps your scent and your body mass are turning women off. Maybe try laying off the meat and dairy and you'll be more attractive to women. Also anything vegans say is considered vegan propaganda. Of course not everyone on this sub is a rational perso…

No, a diet high in trans fats, cholesterol, and carcinogens like meat isn't healthy. You're flat out wrong if that's what you think. Stop spreading nonsense.

A carnivore diet will kill you, contrary to what advocates of it say. I'm vegan for seven years and am healthy as an ox. I suppose I'm dead though because of such a thing right? Because we vegans are just starving to death.

True. I'm a 26-year-old virgin but if everyone insists I'm so attractive then I should be able to date an attractive woman. But I'm frequently told to lower my standards and date overweight girls for instance, but I'm not gonna do that. If I'm as attractive as everyone around me thinks I am, then I should be able to set decent enough standards for myself and not date women I'm not attracted to and don't click with just because "it's better than nothing." With that attitude next thing you know yo…

Or, maybe in my case, I can make up for my poor economic situation with my good looks. But even then most women just seem to want to rather ignore me. I heard from a woman acquaintance recently that many women have the attention span of brain dead fish, so maybe that could be one reason. But that's not how relationships and courtship should be treated. In fact I'd wager the fact that women are able to do that and still be the desired sex just shows the true inequalities present here.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/09/22 04:59 AM

Economics are not the only factor. You can make up for it by being exceptional in other areas – which is definitely a lot easier said than done I'm virtually certain that if I was around more people (particularly women) my own age, I'd find a girl to date and fall in love with eventually. Thing is working at a place where there's few women you can talk to (there's none in my department so approaching women who work in the offices for a date would basically be career kill, and that's even when th…

House of the Dragon actually does do a great job of humanizing the people of Westeros when we've otherwise only seen the more barbaric side. It's still brutal no doubt, but there's the element of the Targaryans sticking together that we didn't see in the main series. Viserys actually is shown to care about his daughter, and in a non incestuous and creepy way fathers of daughters on the main series seemed to be, and the way many men who are in power are portrayed in media, which is again a very n…

Even if it's a character persona it's still not something to glorify. Alcohol isn't something to laugh about when it causes so much damage to people's lives. I also still don't like him really because of his constant need to shit on every bit of pop culture that comes out. Some of us actually enjoy these things and don't want to constantly see them trashed just for views.

Those kinds of Youtubers are often of the nonsensical reactionary type that just shits on movies, TV shows, and games regardless of how good or bad it may be. The Last of Us 2 is a good example of pretty realistic characters, and they have strong male leads too, but this doesn't stop CD from tearing it apart. Also coming from someone who drank heavily in the past to the point of near death a few times, I can't take someone seriously if their channel name is the Critical Drinker. It shows a clear…

I think another reason for the low sex rates is that a lot of women try out the promiscuity lifestyle, get abused by bad men, conclude that "all men are like that", and swear off dating. Oh without a doubt. I've encountered a woman or two like that before. I still know women like that, and that leaves me in a shitty spot where none of these women will even consider dating someone like me, because they're suddenly surprised that there's nice guys, yet at the same time won't date them because they…

Which is why it bothers me when there's regressive zoomer leftists who try to downplay September 11th, when many of them were either super young or not even alive yet when the towers fell. I was five when they fell but I never bought into the nonsense that it was an inside job or that America brought it on itself when the ideology driving the terrorists and the people behind it is batshit insane and wouldn't hesitate to set the world on fire and kill millions of people if they had the ability to…

I agree, but every time this happened to me, they were always "too busy" to focus on relationships. It seems like some women don't even attempt to want to get to know men on a deeper or romantic level. Recently I know of a family acquaintance who was seeing a girl who seemed into him. But recently they broke up because he was looking for something serious and she wasn't. Okay? Well why go through all that time seeing him and spending time with him if you weren't seriously considering dating him?…

The appeal to nature fallacy is such bullshit. I'm vegan and have to deal with it when debating such a thing, but that's a whole other story. Because of the fact that men are more disposable in nature or throughout history, modern feminism and the culture at large gives an excuse to just toss aside the needs of half the population, and then expect no pushback in return. The female chimp may mate with the most aggressive male in the troop, but that doesn't mean human women should imitate what she…

It thrived in the middle ages when the church was at its most influential and controlling period in its history. It was less safe back then too, with fewer contraceptive options and no knowledge of things like STDs. Now we have ways of regulating these things and making them safe for everyone involved. Porn is regulated by the FCC. Why can't they manage prostitution as another form of sex work? It's likely because of the social and sexual chastity society demands of lonely men that demonizes the…

I'm circumcised, but that doesn't mean I'm okay with it. I had no say in the matter. You're BF seems very selfish if that's what he's so motivated by. He wasn't given a choice either, but I think many men would rather keep their foreskin if they actually knew what they are missing. Just because he happens to like having gotten it done, that doesn't mean an unsuspecting and non consensual infant does.

I don't know, but it isn't always my fault like the way you're making it sound. I'm not ignored by every girl I encounter, just most of them. It's usually outside of my very uptight area that seems to be full of self entitled narcissists who feel as if the world owes them everything but they owe the world nothing. A few weeks ago I'm pretty sure a woman employee was interested when I was out in the Pocono mountains at a restaurant me and my family were at. She was smiling every time I looked at …

Importantly, the dating/sexual advantage of women would decrease and they would have to be more open and initiative. Yes, hence why feminists don't want it to be legalized. God forbid men get to have sex as much as women do these days. Legalizing prostitution would make it so men can have more control over their lack of intimacy, and we know that to feminists, giving men any amount of sexual satisfaction is the original sin, especially the lonely and sexually frustrated men. To them we're just s…

Six feet tall, thick curly brown hair, broad shoulders, brown sparkly eyes here. All attractive traits, but women still don't want me. I think it does just have to do with both toxic behavior being rewarded (which is not something that's in my nature to do) and women's standards being way too high these days in general.

I feel like I have the physical characteristics, but I just don't have the super outgoing or cocksure confident personality people expect me to have to get girls. I don't know what women see in uberconfidence sometimes bordering on arrogance. Confidence isn't something you can just fake is what people seem to forget. And yeah feminism has largely told young women these days that the world owes them everything by virtue of being a woman but they don't have to lift a finger to give back in things …

Oh hey u/BloomingBrains! I didn't know that was you. New profile pic it looks like. But yeah beyond the vast moral panic surrounding incels, it seems like even people outside don't want their situation to improve. This is what I've been saying all along. Even the worst ones, the most misogynistic ones, are more of a threat to themselves than anyone else This. Even when I was in my full on black pill heavy drinking days, I still never had a desire to see anyone get hurt. It's a moral panic plain and simple. Samwise Gamgee from Lord of the Rings. He shows a more love-based version of friendship between men that is more common in Europe, where Tolkien based Middle Earth off of. He is incredibly loyal, humble, and is the only one tempted by the One Ring who willingly gave it up to Frodo. He's also the kind who seems to have been romantically troubled in life (like me) but overcame the odds and married Rosie Cotton when he returned to the Shire. There is zero context or understanding how western treatment of the USSR snd Russia contributed to the rise of Putin and the oligarchy there. More blame America first nonsense. The USSR was treated the way it was by the west because of how it treated its own people. Much of the Soviet's woes were entirely self inflicted. I don't think anyone is trying to portray the west as all peaceful and benevolent. It's just that historical revisionists demand we do things like tear down statues of Abe Lincoln and Ulysses S Grant while idolizing people like Focoult, who literally raped little boys up against grave stones in Tunisa when he was living there in the 1960s. It isn't that historical figures were perfect, but people who read Focoult aren't so much as interested in criticizing western society's as they are in erasin…

In the same way you need to read Judith Butler to get the correct statistics on male sexual assault. And let's not forget how she flat out came to the defense of a female rapist, Avitall Ronnel in 2018.

This just shows the overlap between racism and misandry. Black men, however innocent, were often lynched in the American South from the time of slavery up until the Civil Rights movement because they were thought to have raped a white woman. Often black men were beaten senseless or killed for talking to white women in any way. There was a recent incident where I'm not sure if the guy was black but this lady pepper sprayed him for taking pictures of his own kids. We can see this sort of attitude …

Plus it's literally been the motive for a female serial killer. Aileen Wuornos was a serial killer in the late 80s and early 90s who killed six men she claimed were trying to sexually assault her. Thankfully she was held accountable for her atrocities and executed in the early 2000s.

I mean isn't that the overall nefarious goal of social media in general? Facebook for instance these days seemingly serves no purpose but to create armies of stupid people, and Mark Zuckerberg is able to get away with it because of his wealth. If there's anything seeing how people behave online has taught me, is that just because a majority of people believe it or say it, it doesn't make it true. Very fucked up about the message that said something along the lines of "free speech isn't just for neckbeard mouth breathing autistic virgins." I guess abelism is okay, so long as the target is cis hereto men with autism and not trans people or women with ASD. I'll have to link feminists to that if they ever try to argue that they're never abelist. It's definitely more complex. There's many different factors at play here. But I'm not going to sit here and pretend that feminists haven't poisoned and monopolized any sane idea of gender equality in our society. For sure there's a lot at play here, but it all boils down to the fact that there's an element of privilege that being a woman grants you that feminists simply don't want to recognize. Not in all areas of life of course, but definitely in dating.

That's because the male role sucks. It's why feminist women who've gone through their third boyfriend in a year doesn't want to empathize with men who are romantically struggling- because they know that the role of men in dating and courtship is one fraught with misery, doubt, uncertainty and just general boredom. They acknowledge that the male role in things like dating sucks. They just enjoy the privilege being female gives you in the dating market (especially super rich and attractive women) …

It just bothers me that the media is so nonchalantly dismissive of false accusations. They claim that they're exceedingly rare. Too bad it's taboo to suggest that if a man doesn't want kids with his wife/girlfriend if he accidentally gets her pregnant and she doesn't want an abortion, then he has a right to back out completely and not take care of the child. You'll be accused of being a deadbeat, or a loser, or not a real man because you don't want to take care of a child you didn't want in the first place. I think humanites and philosophies have more relevance in people's thinking patterns than complex math equations. Some people like myself flat out just cannot solve complex math problems, due to a learning disability in such a subject. Hell I'd even say teaching things like American and English literature has more of a place than algebra. I do give credit where credit is due and attribute my interest in mythology that I developed later in life to my introduction to it in high school.

If you're an engineering grad then it's one thing. But someone who is planning on a different major or maybe not even planning on going to college at all also is forced to learn it. It shouldn't be a mandatory subject in both high school and college the way it is, unless of course your major specifically involves mathematics.

Powerful countries like the US and UK should do what Israel does and conscript both genders, or don't conscript anyone at all. Or do so based on a meritocratic basis, also as Israel does. As I said arming teachers is a bad idea, as in the Uvalde shooting even the cops were too cowardly and negligent to danything, so relying on people who's job it is to educate kids and not carry and use firearms at a moments notice is a horrible idea. I'd also like to add that you can't really accomplish any of these thi…

The "gun nuts" want to protect kids at school with guns, and politics is preventing that. I'm gonna have to disagree with you there. After something like Uvalade where even the police couldn't be competent enough to deal with the situation, what makes you think arming teachers would be a viable solution? The US has a serious problem with gun violence (in all forms) because of the abundance of them. Especially in places like Texas where you can get a gun as easily as buying a pack of cigarettes (…

Not only that but it muddied up the idea of approaching and flirting with women. For men of course. Women can be as selective as they like without being told that they're being toxic. Men have to go far out of their way and go above and beyond to get a woman to notice him (like me). But women can do whatever they want without being told that their perfectly natural and normal desires like relationships and sex are are perverted or malicious, even when they are being perverted or malicious. Sexua…

I agree. But what bothers me is how, when there's a clear example of a female abuser, everyone says "oh, well they're both awful" or "they're both abusive assholes." But as you said some of his ex partners say he's a really nice person. Johnny Depp never striked me as someone to be abusive or aggressive. And I didn't know about the children's hospital thing. That's a really nice thing that he does. It just sucks that it's never just the woman being abusive or the woman being in the wrong. Anytim…

You're a really smart ticket BB. There's a lot of things women could do that would make gender politics easier for both parties involved, only feminism puts a roadblock on any kind of reasonable discussion regarding the inconvenient truth of how their disregard for the idea that men who are romantically or sexually frustrated actually don't benefit from their hateful ideology. It's even worse when men aren't taught proper etiquette when it comes to approaching women or how to talk or court them in a way that isn't (perceived even) as creepy. Men are basically not given any guidance and are told basically you're on your own and if you can't succeed than tough shit. It's just odd to me how the boys who bragged about killing small animals had more friends and better luck with the girls growing up than I did. I'm not sure but the show does a great job of having good looking villains, female villains, average looking heroes, and more sympathetic male villains. It shows that not every form of media has been tainting by the feminist idea that women do no wrong.

I think one really good show that portrays female villains is The Walking Dead. Male villains like Negan are actually viewed in a more sympathetic light, and is soon to be a father and seemingly wanting to move on from his violent and often sadistic past. Contrastly, Alpha, leader of a psychotic group of survivors known as the Whisperers, is looked at with little to no sympathy. She's cold. She's abusive, cruel, manipulative, a liar, and an all around complete piece of shit. She even convinced h…

I'm not against the death penalty in all cases. Just look at Ted Bundy for instance. I don't think anyone felt sorry for him when they executed him. But if capital punishment is going to be given, it should only be enacted when the crime is absolutely sickening and the perpetrator feels not a lick of remorse. In those cases I can understand.

I agree. But there's calls to defund the police and abolish prisons in addition to it. I agree these things need to be reformed but to abolish them altogether is societal suicide and something I only ever hear woke nuts talk about.

Yeah like I said only in certain instances. Pieces of shit like Ted Bundy or McVeigh few people if any had any sympathy for before they were put to death. But I don't think that capital punishment should just be wontoly sentences on people when prison is already a bad enough place to be as is.

Thanks for clarifying. Violent crimes be they assault, rape, murder, terrorism should all be punishable by a lengthy prison sentence. In some cases even the death penalty, though we should make absolutely sure that the person put to death did it and they're not putting an innocent person to death and the punishment fits the crime, case in point serial killers like Ted Bundy or terrorists Timothy McVeigh or Osama Bin Laden had to go and I don't think anyone was opppsesed to giving any of them the…

You did. My only point is that there's some crimes where, while no person may have been harmed, it still should be punishable by jail time. Someone may rob a bank but not kill anyone in the process. Does that mean that they shouldn't get time in prison just because nobody was harmed? Things like drug use, prostitution and shop lifting I don't think should be punishable by jail time (although shoplifting is still unethical, perhaps a heafty fine after a first offense) but some crimes, just becaus…

In general, if an offense does not involve causing harm to someone else, no jail time. How does that even make sense? If someone carjacked you or burglarized your house (these things may or may not involve actual physical harm to the victim) would you want them to just be able to get off with a slap on the wrist?

I had a really hot girl at the beach about 12 years ago ask me what the best pickup line I knew was, and according to my parents she wouldn't stop talking about me when she saw me in the water. When she made a move I dropped the ball com…

Same for everyone absolutely knowing mothers can be shit parents (even from personal experience) but everyone assumes it's the dad when someone says child abuse Recently a woman in my region of Pennsylvania was driving fucked up on coke and booze at 100+ miles per hour, hit a car and landed her car on a restaurant roof with a baby in the backseat. The baby is okay thankfully but it was so bad of an accident that people who saw it had to be offered counseling. The mother survived too. My point be…

Assuming OP is a reliable narrator, he just defended his position on doing nothing at all because he didn't feel it was his problem. For all we know the man in this situation could barely have known the woman she's talking about. Assuming the woman is on the phone with her friend and she has a phone with her (as the vast majority of humans alive today do) she could've called the police rather than calling her friend, and then, regardless of whether or not the abused woman is aware of it or not, …

I'm late to wherever I'm going whenever there's a hot dog in a car I'm the kind of person that would do something at least, as all it would take is an anonymous phone call to the police. What this woman on TwoX is advocating for is for her boyfriend/husband to put his safety on the line for a complete stranger. I agree, maybe call the cops. But she's getting mad that he didn't personally intervene in the situation, not considering things like: what if the man had a gun? What if he was bigger tha…

That, and they imply that all men are privileged by virtue of being male, even low functioning autistic men who live in group homes. I'm very high functioning, and even that makes life hard. But since it's often easy for me to mask, people assume that I'm somehow not a real victim. And I'm being brutally honest when I say that there's a way in which wokies and the far left are guilty of casual ableism: their hatred of incels. Overthrow the capitalist system And replace it with...what exactly? We've seen the alternative and it's failure in the realm of human rights and democracy. I find it ironic that people (rightfully) point to the Confederacy as the beligerents during the Civil War, the Nazis during WWII, but not communists in the Cold War. By far left I essentially mean woke/SJW left. Well, I'm not LGBT so I can't say from experience, and this may sound a little off topic but I feel it's still a good point to make: feminists and many women (my mother included) have implied or said (whether 100% serious or not) that "all men are assholes, and the ones who aren't are usually gay." I feel like this creates a culture of stereotyping that says that queer people (in particular gay men) must act a certain way to qualify as what their sexual orientation implies. -Imperialism to them is okay as long as its a non western power doing it. -Racism is okay as long as it is directed towards white people. -Classism is okay as long as it only affects men in many cases. -And body shaming is okay as long as it is against men. Yeah you've got a point there. I do admit it is easier to not give a fuck about things in theory than it actually is to pull off. Fuck misandristic polices that devalue the lives of fathers, brothers, and sons that want to flee with their families just as much as the women and children do. Yeah it really all comes back to victim blaming. It all comes down to how society will fight tooth and nail to protect the rights of girls and women but men and boys get fucked. There's absolutely nothing wrong with showing normal emotions such as sadness and grief, but feminists thinking that men "just need to cry more" doesn't cut it. Especially since most men feel uncomfortable crying in front of women they know. Not to mention many relationships end up awkward when the man cries in front of his female SO. So much for men being able to openly express their emotions.

I don't even know if it should be always up to some random guy to "put a stop to it" so to speak. Many men may just want to avoid confrontation. It makes men who "do nothing" seem like the bad guys for not constantly intervening, like the man has to be a big hero that constantly has to save women from certain situations when it may or may not even be any of his business.

That's the reasonable explanation. It just sucks that people simplify the shit out of it to make it look like the imaginary patriarchy is out to hurt women in any ways possible, and to feminists its the only proof they need to argue that women have it worse in literally every way, when the truth is far more complicated than that. He's not getting my sympathy just because he cried. There's legit reasons for men to cry. He was probably afraid of going to prison for life, and that's why he sobbed, not …

Nah, fuck Kyle RottenHouse. He drove 200 miles out of his way in an attempt to kill people via being a vigilante. Good men don't pull shit like this. If he didn't want to be put on the spot like that (and seemingly cried just in an attempt to sucker and manipulate the judge and jurry) then he shouldn't have done what he did. He is guilty by a thousand cuts, but no doubt if he gets away with it he'll he'll be happy as a fascist clam.

Even the old-school suffrage movement was full of racist and classist rich women that didn't want Irish or black women voting. Sure, it's definitely good that women got the right to vote, but we're often not taught how racist and greedy the suffrage movement was of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Even old-school feminism was laced with racism and misandry.

You're right. Because in all honesty, I think things like feminism serve as more of a dividing mechanism than I view it as a way to bring both genders closer together. Feminism has clearly failed an entire generation of well meaning young men who have become often radicalized as a result of feminist gaslighting for simply looking for a place to fit in and want what everyone else wants. It really sucks that feminism has made women afraid of men and men afraid to approach women for fear of how wom…

Or worse, they don't think toxic feminism is a thing. I've legit read responses on Quora that tried to argue that women are always in the right and that there's no shitty side to feminism. I don't know how anyone could take them seriously, but sadly far too many people do, including but not limited to the court system and academia.

I agree. I think people do often criticize games like GTA or RDR because of the idea of disinhabition being common in them, but at the same time, most people agree that mass murder and senseless acts of cruelty and violence are wrong, so they can play these games knowing that they are just virtual sandboxes to play around in and not something to take literally. I don't think I've ever seen rape encouraged in these games. As a matter of fact in Red Dead Redemption 2, it rewards you for saving bot…

Perhaps. In the setting I was in at least it was wrong. And I was underage. But when I was older it got less awkward. But I still wouldn't say she belongs in prison.

I think that's taking it a little too far. You don't know the whole context so you can't really be the one to make that judgment. She isn't the type that necessarily belongs in prison. Like I said, I had my first (and to date, only) kiss with this woman years ago. I mean for God's sake, if it weren't for this woman, I never would've experienced what it is like to cuddle or kiss a woman. I'm not asking you to agree with me, I'm just asking you to understand. So while she may have done something i…

Oh I know. That's why I said it's the principle that matters. Whether you like it or not doesn't matter.

It didn't really bother me, but when I was 17 I had an older female bartender working at the restaurant I bussed at. She was around 30 and she grabbed my ass when I wasn't looking. That being said, she was also my first kiss when I was 18. It is something to go by when you've been romantically and sexually frustrated your whole life. However, looking back, I realize that its the principle of sexual misconduct in many cases. Restaurants are also very toxic places to work on top of that. I also wi…

Lol. Judging the entire population of men based on the success of the men at the very top is incredibly short sighted and probably is the only argument feminists use when playing privilege Olympics. As if the 99.99% of men who aren't rich or famous don't matter, which I guess in our gynocentric society they don't.

But that's not typical of most left wing circles online. Most will call you anything but a human being if you even suggest that men have disadvantages. They've all become beholden to dogmatic feminism and there's really not much you can do to convince them. They're like the left wing equivalent of Trump supporters.

Well, yes. You're acting like the US or Europe is the only source of war in the world, when we know damn well that that isn't true. Poorer and often war torn countries are just as full of ignorant people willing to go to war over something trivial (often religious sectarian violence, see Islam) just as much as people in developed nations are.

I'm not saying it wouldn't (though the causes and reasons for such wars are very complicated) but meat production is absolutely awful for the planet. And like I said in my comment I feel like men who display such compassion are hurt most by gender norms where eating meat is considered manly but ditching it in favor of animals' lives and the planet is considered weak.

Well, eating meat does cause mass environmental devastation. And one negative attitude towards men is when they show care and compassion for the environment and animals by going vegan, only to be called "pussies" , "fa**ots", "soy boys" etc. for advocating to do the right thing. Yet another thing that we put more pressure on men than women. Veganism is typically seen as emasculating to men by everyone, even people who claim to stand up for men and women, simply because the idea of veganism is he…

I wouldn't say women have no empathy for men, but in certain areas its harder for women to relate to men's struggles. For example, its harder for a rich white woman to really know what a low income black male garbage collector's life is like. It doesn't mean that a lot of them don't have empathy, it's just that many fundamentally find it harder to relate to a life that they have no tangible connection to. Life isn't perfect for any of us but it isn't to say that there aren't a lot of empathetic …

Sometimes it makes me wish I was as well off as my sister. She's married, has a cool husband, and lives on her own and is currently in the talks to own a home. She's 31. Meanwhile, 25-year-old loser virgin male me has had a romantic past that is spotty at best, if you when wanna call it that. My sister got her first relationship at 15. She has never been single for longer than a few years at most. She doesn't even know the first bit of how depressing this is. I appreciate her trying to empathize…
