Not hanging out is definitely correct, when I was around 18-19 I hung out a few times with a single mom and her son. The son was kinda looking at me like a potential new dad which I didn't want any part of. The boy is screwed, wouldn't surprise me if he killed himself by now, he had no friends and didn't know how to interact very well.

I tried to re-route a friends life in highschool, but he was pretty much doomed. He is the final child of this career mom and stay at home dad. They were raising him to be a self-doubting loser that will replace the husband when he dies, and not be a person that values himself. Obviously since they are the parents they eventually won and had me removed from his life since I was a "bad influence", when I was the only good influence he will ever have in his life.

I think it was already complete in the 1st marriage, his wife had effortlessly taken over and was bored after a while, looking to start over with a new victim. At one point I was one of the only men in my workplace. At the time there was a really desperate TFLer that would be incredibly nice and try to get hugs from the women, and being rude and going out of his way to annoy the other men. Somewhere I built these 3 gigantic things that is open to the public, and a guy told me he started building again on something he gave up on because he saw what I did. Well, a man cannot be forced to be celibate since he can usually just leave the relationship, unless it's a marriage. I think back then I was assuming most of the women are unmarried, but they could be married in large numbers. The red flag message is when there is a change in the sexual activity between a couple, usually emphasized on the sudden lack of. Something you can try is pretending to be one of them by agreeing with everything when they look at you, but always pretend you are busy 24/7 so they won't get to know the real you. This should work for you since you prefer to be alone. Even if you have a slip-up it should be easy to recover from. "I don't know what I was thinking last night."

I'm in a Catholic family, you aren't missing anything over here. From what I've seen the women will stay with you as long as you play the part and never stop providing. Uncle #1 is dead from the stress. Uncle #2 overworks himself to keep his wife happy and the Joneses jealous. Uncle #3 feels some regret but accepts his fate with a partially crazy wife.

I knew one for a short time and didn't notice anything bad about her. I think she got played and decided not to abort. It looked like she genuinely loved her son and wanted to raise him.
