Exactly. The Wall Street firm Jane Street is currently offering $70/hr plus housing valued at $5,500/month for software engineer interns. They require you to be at least a senior in undergrad so 21. The Wall Street firm I work at pays that much with similar benefit for people with a degree in finance or economics for a junior analyst position. $120k for a young person with a degree from a good school in a desirable field is pretty average.

As an atheist this is beyond playing devil's advocate for me, none the less. If God was real and did in fact create the universe it would be safe to assume his abilities and intelligence will be far beyond the comprehension of a human just isn't ant could never understand why a nuclear reactor is built we could never understand why God did certain things. You said never. I was giving an intentionally extreme example to show why it might be justified in some situations. I'm in a similar situation why spend less than half of my income the majority goes into savings. Therefore if I got divorced I could easily afford to give half of my income to my wife which would let her but a significant amount into savings.

Then he is being intentionally and deceptively misleading. I make a $2/yr salary plus bonuses. You don't see me making post talking about paying more in taxes than my entire paycheck is. Based on his comments he is either making $70k if paid bi-weekly or $35k if monthly. My guess is monthly. I'm not sure what job you're referring to but I would be interested in what you mean by black belt. like I said that's just starting pay. My first job ended up paying $110k with a company car, which since I already own one nicer than what they were offering. they just gave me an extra $30k/year. Both me and my wife graduated from Yale law about 10 years ago. The lowest pay we were offered was $85k, the highest was $135k. I'd love to see someone from a community and state college try that. The only way people start taking I delete seriously is if businesses stop.

The problem is those colleges have huge influence over your careers. I graduated near the top of my class at Yale Law a little over 10 years ago. I receive multiple job offers for over a hundred thousand a year plus huge benefits Straight Outta College (voice typing spelt it this way, it's funny so I'm not changing it) something that would never happen if I went to some average school especially if I graduated from a community college.
