Richard Dawkins minions Please do not group non-theists as followers or "minions" of Richard Dawkins. E.g. I am an atheist, and I have no overlap whatsoever with that group. Never had. Please also do not stereotype that group either.

An accusation doesn't require the use of a penis. It does only require a penis. And what they're saying is that having a penis and being accused of misuse of it should be enough. Enough for public naming and thus mob "justice".

This was year ago, and he was, if this kid exists and it's that very kid, definitely psychologically manipulated by the ex. They dated for two years after... Jesus, that's fucked up.

Sounds plausible. I'd still see a lawyer before anything else. For instance: You do not want to be tricked into accepting parenthood of somebody else's child, so a DNA test is a must. You do not want the mother to potentially appear out of nowhere, claim the child for herself and proceed to extract child support from you. The situation needs to be properly documented legally as to prevent this from ever happening. It's pretty clear that the mother has mental issues and has entirely neglected the…

Get a lawyer's advice as soon as possible, and absolutely before getting anywhere close to the birth. And, of course, absolutely do not accept fatherhood without the test.

Contacting an ex could get you in trouble. This is especially true if the ex is being actively hostile to you. Including ammunition against you (ex means "unwanted contact"). Plus you'd be confirming to her that the harassment scheme is being effective. Regret is the most likely outcome. And, of course, warning her about possible legal action would eliminate any advantage of surprise. She could then be coached by a professional, and the overall cost and probability of positive outcome to you wou…

That'll depend on the law of where this happens, and we're veering offtopic. Back into the case at hand, I do not know Australia's legislation, but it is highly likely a 14 yo can't legally consent to sex with a 45 yo, thus rape.
/r/MensRights02/07/22 03:41 PM

At 14 if he consented to her That's the problem. Below age of consent. Thus no consent. Thus rape.

If you're not the father (as it's likely the case), you do not want to be in that birth certificate. As to how to prevent that from happening, a lawyer can advice you. Should it happen, it's gonna be very bad. Even if you can prove you're not the father later, you'll still be liable.

What is currently happening is that They (assume your ex-wife is acting as per somebody's advice, such as a lawyer) are trying to get a reaction out of you, and to use this reaction in a future attempt to damage you (legally or by mob) or otherwise extract something out of you (assumed to be money or a more favorable arrangement re: children). There's all sorts of people out there. They're all flawed in many ways, including myself. Personally, I've mostly had trouble with people who are prone to envy, and might hate you for your skills/ideas/projects. And of course, since I do like talking about these topics (rather than about other people or about goods that can be purchased), this is unavoidably going to happen a lot. The worst is if you ever expose yourself to possible interference from this kind of individual. The key point is to …

Congrats. Now that all is good, do ensure there's no legal ties with your family. For instance, should an accident happen, your family shouldn't be notified. Should you be unconscious, your family shouldn't be able to make any decision for you. Should you die, they should not inherit anything. Talk to a lawyer, get it done, consider it part of tying up the loose ends and moving on.

It is deeply flawed. The very first statement is wrong: To find a woman you need Time and Money therefore Woman = Time * Money Time and money should be Time + Money. But it is funny, and while the process is bad, the conclusion is correct. The version I'd heard before uses evil in place of problems. I personally do like it more.

Mostly good advice, but disagree on this part: Sort of speaks for itself. You'll have the money for a deposit in no time. Get a mortgage that's cheaper than the rent you would have paid and pay it off early. I did mine in 3 years but that's a bit of an exception. Buying a house will tie you to a physical location. My advice is to do the exact opposite: Try living in different locations. Countries. Continents.

+1 to that. You won't be changing how your family is; they're way older than you and their personalities and values are rock solid by now. You're, as a human being, however, entitled to having your own. So your only way out is to keep managing your relationship with them as you have been... until you can support yourself. By then, move out. Ideally, on a different city, away from your family's network. Extra points if you emigrate from your country. That way, you can keep a friendly relation wit…

The vast majority of the time, the man does agree to become a father, so the default state should be "in". I have to ask... who's "the man"? Arbitrary person name the mother puts in? Or the biological father, tested with DNA to be so? Because we can discuss the latter, but the former isn't negotiable: I'm not going to accept that bullshit and you shouldn't either.

Don't tell him straight up. He will put a wall, refuse to listen. You need to be really roundabout about this sort of thing. Perhaps watch a movie about a woman like that together with him, on some pizza. Discuss the hints the man had about what the woman was like. All in the movie's context. Let him figure out for himself... it's much more effective if he thinks it's his own thinking... or fail to; he'll still remember the movie and the talk. Just give him a higher chance to dodge that bullet; …

Pretty sure they're enforcing dressing code for males, too. There's no female prosecution going on. And btw, pokemon is great.

That's why statutory rape is a thing. Correction: That's because statutory rape is a thing. Now, is an AoC that high sane? That's quite the question. Personally I'm all for statutory rape but I have major doubts about going any higher than 15 for AoC. Note that it is 15 where I live, which I find pretty reasonable. 16 would be old enough to work here, so an AoC higher than 16 does just seem insane.
/r/MensRights22/02/14 11:21 PM

Because matriarchy! /s For some reason it's the mother and not the parents. Sick. But in the first place, isn't a 16yo old enough to consent? It sure is above AoC where I live.
/r/MensRights22/02/14 11:18 PM

/s means sarcasm. Why isn't gender equality the goal, instead of one side 'dominating' the other. Holy shit. Nobody but you is claiming gender equality isn't the goal. Try understanding what you're reading before snapping and throwing nonsense at us.

Genders aside (same opinion with genders swapped), I don't consider a 16yo a kid. Where I live, that's above AoC. This should be a non-issue. Never should have got to a judge in the first place. Having stated my personal opinion on sick laws like this: I'm pretty sure the judge ruling would not be so lenient were the roles reversed.

I see no problem with the pic as I wouldn't see any problem with the genders reversed. It would be a problem if these were kids (as in below Age of Consent). I'm all for protecting the image of kids.

Nonsense. It's a punchbag and you should stick your moralizing up your ass.
/r/MensRights10/12/13 09:17 PM

I don't see a problem with the punchbag to be honest. It does no man damage (or woman, if it had a female design instead) if a punchbag is punched. Let's leave this sort of thing alone. It might even provide an outlet for people who'd punch other human beings if they cannot satisfy their urge against a sandbag. By the same logic we censor this sort of thing, we could censor violent videogames, movies and so on.

He should get to choose between either that or having sole custody of the child. The mother should pay child support in that case.

I don't even know the figures father not matching, but let's say it's a 3%. Among these, the mother surely knows there's such a possibility and how high it is. How many women do you think would keep it a secret until the test is done? Likely not all of them. What about the effect of awareness of the fact preventing the cuckolding in the first place? We really do need such a law in place, though.
