Yeah, imagine the headline if a 41 year old guy had brought two underage girls out drinking with him and had sex with them after getting them drunk.

I didn't put any words in your mouth. You said: The idea that I should feel pity or even empathy for someone who not only betrayed their family, but had the terrible judgment to do it with someone would file a false rape claim against him, is really hard to stomach. The point is that when you come up against two liars: the woman accusing him, and the man who cheated, who is the victim in that scenario? Who does the false accusation do more harm to, especially when it's never brought to light tha…

I don't think rape shield laws should be repealed, I think that anonymity should be added to both parties until conviction. Whether that conviction be for rape (in the case of a real accusation), or for perjury (for filing a false claim). The article though is talking about men who have their infidelities revealed when they are charged with rape, while women get to stay anonymous. Yeah, cause it's always the mans fault. The fact that the woman fucked around, got caught and/or felt guilty for cheating, and decided to yell rape instead of taking responsibility for her actions means that the man should pay for her indiscretions too. And say the man isn't married, doesn't have a family, and simply had a crazy night out. Now, he's named and shamed to the whole world. If he goes out and has sex with some strange girl he's obviously asking for it.

What I want to know is who would downvote this story? Is it just because it's the MensRights subreddit?

A married South Shore teacher was living a disturbed double life for nearly two years, police said, allegedly seducing a 13-year-old boy, plying him with booze and having sex with him on kitchen floors and couches, sometimes right under the nose of her husband. I love how the article states that she repeatedly "seduced" the boy. Imagine if it were an article about a 29 year old guy repeatedly "seducing" a 13 year old girl by getting her drunk.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
