This is probably going to sound weird, but as a guy, my head game is to basically convince myself I am talking to a friend UNTIL she says something that can even be moderately construed as overtly sexual. Get your mindset back to building rapport before all else; give respect instead of telegraphing intent, genuinely, and you’re in with even the smallest spark being present.

I know someone who was falsely accused during their first (and only) year of college, at a VERY liberal California campus. She recanted a few months later, and graduated in four. He had a nervous breakdown and and left. He works as a manager at a Dairy Queen now.
