Yea I feel like everytime a man threatens this it’s like “okay then go”. Nobody’s stopping you but I know you won’t get off your computer to do it

I agree with this! You know when you’re with someone and you feel like they just “get it” or “get” you? THATS chemistry. It’s the connection/thread that you cannot manufacture if it doesn’t exist.

Women: “based on my personal experience as a woman and the experience of all my female friends and other girls I’ve talked to as women, I can tell you that this is a girl code thing” Men: “men know better and it is NOT a girl code thing”

My uncle and his wife were in the midst of a separation/ divorce when she was diagnosed with brain cancer. When he found out he invited her to move back in and they got back together and he took care of her for the next 5 years until she passed away

Women aren’t pushing for marriage that hard actually! That’s why the rate of single unmarried women over 40 is increasing. But y’all are mad about that too :)

Okay but if you look at history, Joe is actually known as a partier and has been for the last decade or so. Currently he is touring and that’s not exactly a time for being at home (as he claims). Sophie (openly a homebody) has been at home for their 4 years of marriage and only picking up small local roles. She’s been in the uk filming her first big project since the wedding for the past 3 months, which means Joe primarily has the kids for the first time in their entire marriage. Joe has always …

There’s a difference between style and effort though. For me, a dude I’m not compatible with shows little to no effort to pleasure me. A selfish lover can’t be fixed because they don’t want to learn. I’m not going to be compatible with someone who doesn’t eat pussy or doesn’t want to put in the effort to listen to what I like. I wouldn’t try to change someone like that, and they generally aren’t worth teaching

There’s also bars with games, bars with live music, bars with food. Saying bars are only for hooking up when we’re living in an age where people use dating apps Instead of bars for casual encounters is such a socially inept thing to say

It’s not offensive, BUT simply asking that question is kind of a dead giveaway that you’ve spent enough time in anti-women internet groups. This is why it’s met with such disagreement. I’ve yet to meet a well adjusted guy who would actually ask this question on a date, and most women aren’t willing to “prove” themselves to a guy in a dating market that’s skewed in their favor

I think one of the problems is that the “men’s issue” widely discussed here is that men are lonely and not getting sex/relationships like they want. This seems to be a result of women having more rights/money/financial freedom that has allowed them to make relationship and sexual decisions based on “want” rather than “need”. As a result, many women have opted out of the sexual market in general, or are exercising hypergamy because they’re no longer afraid of being alone. We are no longer depende…

The problem with the sex issue is it’s not possible to fix without women sacrificing their own bodily autonomy. This is a good faith, well thought out list about men’s issues that women are actually interested in helping with, and it’s not fair to respond to it complaining that these things are still not getting you laid. We understand that sex is important to you, but we cannot actually help you fix this issue because we don’t want to give up the sexual freedom that we are inherently afraid of …

I’m glad you guys are talking about these things and it shows you have a healthy amount of communication. That being said, I wanted to clear some things up about your “free use” solution. Free use is a form of CNC (consensual non consent) that involves the “user” having access to the “used” body at the users discretion. This permission is granted by the “used”, usually because they are turned on by the lack of control or something related to that. I want to stress that this is very much an opt i…

It’s not a bait and switch because it’s not a ploy. It’s not like women are usually pretending to have a high sex drive in their youth just to get a man. Many women actually have high sex drives because they’re humans and are programmed to. It’s not like women want or plan to lose their sex drives after marriage. But cohabiting and kids and age have an effect on libido. It’s not a conspiracy, it’s just life. In these scenarios it’s not like these women are lying about having a high libido and th…

I think there’s a lot of confirmation bias on this sub because men who flock here are usually the most awkward and socially inept of the grand population. None of my guy friends in real life have trouble dating at all. Like yes it’s not always easy to find a “good match”, of course, but the field isn’t as barren as it’s said to be on this sub.

Don’t listen to him. I’m a big proponent of pre-marital sex but I’m an even bigger proponent of you sticking to your own values and desires. If you don’t want premarital sex you shouldn’t do it to appease someone else. You should only do it when you want to, and I think it’s cool that you’re firm in your beliefs about what to do with your own body. Ultimately, these random dudes on the internet don’t matter and shouldn’t have any say in your virginity

RP loves to put women in boxes and say that women who don’t agree with that box are lying. They take a small sample size of women who fit their mold and apply it to the whole population. They don’t actually care what we have to say or how we actually feel. Stay on this sub long enough and you’ll just accept they want to continue starkly misunderstanding most women, and we can’t change their minds by being honest about our lived experiences

It’s not that at all! It’s just that you used the word “investing”. Most (not all) of my friends in relationships in their early 20s (including myself) spent years trying to fix or mold a guy into our ideal standard of what we wanted for the future, pretty much to no avail. The problem is that most 20 year old dudes are immature, most college relationships end, and putting all that energy into someone in your early years when you’re most likely going to break up is a huge bummer. I have friends …

Honestly this might have more to do with you not having had a relationship rather than not having been able to get one. People tend to make a lot of mistakes in their first relationship, that they are then able to learn from. That’s also where people have the opportunity to really gain sexual skills. Most women aren’t too keen on teaching a 40 year old man how to be a good partner and lover, so when they find out you haven’t had a relationship, that’s more likely what they’re thinking about

Having individual friendships without a “group” is totally normal and okay and is still well adjusted. If you don’t have that I’d recommend higher education

Once you make actual friends it moves beyond small talk though. You probably aren’t as unique as you think you are, and there are probably a lot of people out there that you have interests in common with. There are plenty of intelligent people in the world who don’t just “mindlessly vibe”, and thinking you’re above everyone is only going to hurt you

I think it’s an important note that women fall for ROMANCE scams more often. I also see a post every day on r/scams about some guy who sent a nude to a girl on Snapchat he thought was real and is now being blackmailed, despite it being a ridiculously common scam. Something tells me women don’t fall for that scam as often

I honestly feel like you’re not qualified to be saying any of this with your level of experience. It’s really awesome that you and your wife have sex that satisfies both of you while being each other’s first partners and I don’t want to negate that. But frankly, you’re not experienced enough to denounce other people’s own personal real life experiences of what they prefer based on their level of (more thorough) experience. I’ve had sex within and out of relationships, and while relationship sex …

I participated in sugar dating for a bit before meeting my partner. I was working full time as a scientist and saving for grad school so I wanted the extra income. I also live in LA so rent/COL are high. It was honestly kind of difficult because I didn’t do any physical contact, and there’s only so much money they will give you for texts exchanges/dates that don’t end with sex. Ditto on this! Interacting with someone in real life and having them see my boyfriend jerk off and my boyfriend watching a pre-recorded video on the internet are two very different things. I personally wouldn’t have a problem with it because I’m not particularly monogamous, but that’s besides the point that interacting/ meeting up in real life and watching something behind a screen that has already been filmed are completely different experiences

Girl here, totally fine with me. Like obviously if my boyfriend were watching porn for hours on end that would be weird, but also I think watching porn for hours on end is weird in general? I think that masturbation is normal and healthy and should happen even in a committed relationship. I also know that porn is often used as a means to an end for masturbation. Especially if you started watching at a young age, porn is sometimes a compulsory part of it. If it gets to the point where you can’t g…

Money is limited though, sexual desire isn’t. If you spend all your money, you don’t have it later. If you act on your sexual desires, you’re not actually losing anything. You’re not spending your limited sexual energy which you will have less of as a consequence. The only thing you’re losing is “purity”, which is a stupid concept to begin with.

I’m having a hard time understanding this though. Yes, we all have irrational feelings, and you have every right to feel them and act on them. I think it has to do with the “single” state for both. Women tend to be happier than men single because they tend to have more solid support systems. Female friendships are usually much more emotionally close, and women can rely on each other for support and emotional fulfillment more so than men can. A single mans life is usually far lonelier. Many times, having a girlfriend is the only time men are able to truly express their emotions at all.
