If not now, when?Exactly! It's so frustrating how much of trans/gay/enby, even men's and women's rights, are all hamstringed by people saying, to the effect, of, 'but gays already have equal-rights; they can get straight married like the rest of us'. No gender, no arbitrary discrimination. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 25/04/23 03:52 PM
If not now, when?Okay. Well I agree that we need a way to differentiate between the sex-traits that'd let us copulate. I don't see why we'd call that 'gender' or what else you're tying to it. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/04/23 04:04 PM
If not now, when? So, for you, gender is just 'whatever leads to sex'? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/04/23 04:00 PM
If not now, when?I don't understand what you're trying to say. That 'male who wants to fuck female is gender'? How is that 'gendered behaviour'? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/04/23 03:44 PM
If not now, when?Procreation is sex, not gender. the nature of our species I'm sure that's a very defined concept. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/04/23 01:02 PM
If not now, when?"the patriarchy smashed" looks like 'gender abolition' to me. I see no good reason to create gender differentiations, as a concept, but I see plenty of ways that doing so could be used to harm. So, "the patriarchy is smashed" when these divisive lines are no longer used. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/04/23 03:03 AM
If not now, when? While true, that kinda misses the point. We shouldn't ignore the murder-weapon when convicting a murderer; understanding how the weapons of the plutocracy work is key to parrying them. I think there is something to be said about how people get too focussed on parrying that they lose track of the attacker, however. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/04/23 03:01 AM
