If anyone, gender irrelevant, ghosts you over nothing, be glad; they just helped you filter a lousy human being out of your life before you had to do it yourself.

Great question, and one I've been wondering about myself. I've been mired in negativity for a few years, crappy outlook on everything, and I start therapy Wednesday. I'm hoping that makes some difference. I gotta start looking at things differently or I'm going to remain king...of the lotion aisle.

Probably not what you meant, but I keep several sandwich bags stored around. Each has a Maxi-Pad and 3 tampons. One bag in my tacklebox, one in my toolbox, two bags in my first aid kit, two in the trunk of my car, and one in my range bag. I don't even have a vagina, I live alone, and I find it a 100% valid purchase. Also, I make and wear my own earrings, deep in the bible belt. I've been told by some local "manly men" it won't be long before I'm wearing makeup. I doubt it; I'd go broke constantl…

For me, it's not so much a question of how many, but of how much actual baggage those encounters left behind. I don't care if I click with a woman who's bedded 10,000 men, providing she's not applying alllll the baggage she picked up over the years to our relationship. TBH, I'm not a virgin fan. I'd rather be with someone who has experience and has the skills to make sex enjoyable, I just don't need all the hangups they've developed over the years getting in the way. If they exist on a layer abo…

Looks. I was 10 or 11 when a drunk woman at a dance said, quite loudly "You're really ugly". I haven't changed a great deal, so I know where I stand on that topic. Personality is all I have left. I run a small farm; I'm never going to be driving a Bugatti Veyron or wearing Armani, so if my personality is what's getting me rejected I have nothing outside "can be a basic handyman and mechanic, paid in meaningless mediocre sex under the guise of relationship".

Monkey see, monkey do. It does work. I've been gradually revamping my wardrobe/style by picking up cues from guys who are doing well, and while it hasn't turned everything around, I'm noticing a little more attention. Doesn't take much to be more than zero, but gains are gains.

The most dangerous drug on the planet is whichever one causes humans to have hope. Hope that they're wrong, hope that there's a chance they're wrong, hope that there's a woman out there who will prove them wrong.

I've been working my ass off to work my ass off, but TBH I'm doing it more for myself than anyone else. If it has any effect, it's a byproduct not a goal. I suspect media has people's expectations whacked out. I'm average or slightly below compared to most of the guys in my town. To someone who shies away from any male out of fear, avoids eye contact with any male, and binge-watches TV series and movies on her phone? I'm miles below average. Hollywood has two male character type groups; Chris He…

Sounds like the guy to sell stuff to. "If you'll sign right now, I'll give ya this car for 80% of sticker, and that's basically half-price."

A big part of it nobody seems to get is, when you're someone's friend, you're their friend thoroughly. I've never met anyone who could realistically self-censor the aspects of their lives you don't want to hear about. If you make a big dramatic deal out of it, somebody might be able to censor it for a little while, but never for very long. Then it's "I know you don't wanna hear it, but I gotta tell you one little thing" and eventually you're right back into it unabated. You apply for a job. I la…
