i think you're being a bit too hard on yourself here mate. like, you said you already escalated (i'm assuming light kino throughout the night) and went for it. forcing the issue on the first date was probably a mistake (it's something i only do if it is immediately obviously they're down for it) .. but still, assuming it was just a quick kiss on the lips (or did she dodge it completely?) it probably wasn't that bad. saying that - if she recoiled in disgust then perhaps you read the room wrong.

I've had a couple multi-year relationships and found getting over them much easier than these short flings. I attribute that to having seen sides of them that reveal their true nature, whereas I see a lot of potential in the girls I date. It's silly, as I know these new girls are no different inherently, but I guess being rejected early on makes me second-guess myself.

Yeah I see what you're saying. While I was sleeping with her she would mention how annoying it is that her ex keeps trying to win her back. That shit never works. Mmm I see where you're coming from and do appreciate the tough love. The only reason I'm not fully convinced that it's oneitis is due to the fact that whilst I was seeing her, I still actively slept with new girls. Since she called it off, I've been with 5 new ones (albeit they were HB6). I just quite like entertaining the idea of some familiar sugar walls once I move to her city.
