I don't even believe you. I guarantee, all else being equal, you would not reject a 6'1'' guy whereas you would 100% reject a guy who was shorter than you.

But what if one of the other anonymous people on here happens to be someone you know and then they know you post on incel forums and then they tell everyone else you've ever known that you post on incel forums

I'm not against all of it, but after a certain point it strikes me as inauthentic and I'm not a fan. I'd rather have someone with flaws than someone who was artificially flawless. Maybe even just flawless in general.

Hinting I'd different than asking I thought we were just friendly, so I expressed interest in one of her friends, and she responded with "why not me?" More of an invitation than a hint. Even in my original comment I thought I said that there can be rare outliers who do have a good experience- it's just not common. Admittedly, I stopped reading before the end. Jumped the gun just a little. Sorry. Only usually when I knew a guy that well, and he feels the same, he was all too excited to ask me out…

When men on this sub moan about "average women" not wanting "average men" YET simultaneously admitting that the average woman is over weight and that alone excludes her from being anything more than a pump and dump I reckon I'm an average guy facially, but I'm also in good physical shape. Should my league include fat women since they're "average?" I don't think so, but I think women do. When men on this sub say that they want women to "choose better" and vet for less than superficial qualities s…

I've never been asked out per se, it was more like she just made it obvious she'd say yes if I asked, and she took the initiative to get my attention. She got a 3 year relationship where I think I treated her really well that she went and blew up.

i don't think anybody in this shallow world would genuinely prefer to be fat It's not so much they prefer being fat, it's that they prefer doing the things that make them fat.

I have no experience with fake tits, but I don't think I'd like them based on what I've seen. And bad makeup? It really depends what you mean by bad. I've seen bad makeup done well (I really do not like noticeable eyeshadow for example), but I'm still not into it.

Alright, let's try this a different way. When you have sex, would you say you get yours and then kind of just wait for your partner to finish?

Chicks who just lay there, expect head but don't give it, are boring. Just because she's present doesn't mean she's the one really giving pleasure. That's more like enabling pleasure. That's a boring way to go through life, hence "poor guy." I can cum from jerking off too, does that mean I can give myself pleasure that is equivalent or superior to what sex with a woman can offer?

Do what makes you feel comfortable and don't worry about how a guy you've only been on a couple dates with thinks about it. Even though I was attracted to him, I was wanting to go a bit deeper in our conversation, to see the connection before sex. You wanted to ask h…

I have a theory for why this happens. Everyone knows the honeymoon period of a relationship is pretty great, and then it kinda settles down and can become kinda boring. These guys leave the stale relationship for a new honeymoon phase, it's comparatively much better than the last relationship, and he starts to think the new girl has to be the one.

However if you are dating a 5/10 and you treat her like a 5/10 you’re a dickhead and you don’t deserve a relationship with her This is projection. Women are the ones who do this to men.

Many women are. They will actually say that a very small percentage of men are attractive to them. Yeah, but even the ones that do admit it couch it with "but those men aren't the same for all women" which anyone with a brain sees right through. And like you said, they also shift the blame on us.

Women's expectations have only adjusted in their favor. They only want to do half the shit they used to do. They still want men to all the shit they used to do and half the shit women used to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/21 04:06 PM

Yeah I don't care about any of that lol. I was just saying no one's (well, I'm not anyways) offended you're most attracted to the same thing every other girl is. You don't have to couch it. I wasn't born yesterday.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/21 07:51 AM

I really have no way to know for sure how a guy like that operates. I know that, even as a guy with nothing going on, any girl who declines a date with me without an immediate and enthusiastic reschedule would be dead to me. I'm all too happy to take no for an answer because it's what I'm expecting. A guy with more success with women might think differently though. He reached out to me first and seemed genuine, otherwise I don’t F with guys like that C'mon, don't insult my intelligence here.

/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/21 07:03 AM

What kind of message do you think you're sending by declining a guys request for a date and then not reaching out again? You're sending all the signals you're not interested and then wondering why he's not beating down your door to pursue you further. Your behavior and your post here combined are honestly fucking mind boggling. I guess even if a girl really likes a guy it doesn't really matter because one just as good is right around the corner.

I'm not even denying that women are attracted to him though.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/21 02:33 AM

Yeah, you feel like you have to lock her down before you lose the only girl who ever liked you. And the ones who are willing to date ugly guys tend to do it in exchange for an accelerated timeline.

How high are you? "They'll say, 'Oh, he's sexy,' but women still go for guys who are 6-foot-2," Dinklage, That's the only line about what women think about him. The rest of the is an anecdote about cologne and him accidentally putting Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the pay no mind list.

I never denied that. He's rich and famous. All the other rules go out the windows when you're rich and famous. That doesn't make him an alpha male.

/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/21 11:20 PM

You know that weird looking dude that everyone posts? He has long hair I think, he's very pale, he's got big prey eyes and his skull is kind of a V shape. How does a guy who looks like that become an alpha? Enlighten me.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/21 11:18 PM

Half true. A genetically gifted man can be a beta, but a man who not genetically gifted cannot be an alpha.

I’m saying look at the way women are judged and shamed here and let it roll off your back. I couldn’t be here is I didn’t do the same. No one is entitled to approval of their choices. Interesting. So would you say you actually stand by everything you say here, or are you just reacting and slinging mud back just for the satisfaction of it? Not really. So that's a yes. Literally no basis in reailty for this load of bullshit other than the projection of extremely insecure men. Yeah, that must be why the cliche of married men complaining about how their wife stopped fucking them after they got married exists. No thanks. this is enough horsehit for one day. The only horseshit is what is coming out of your mouth, not mine.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/21 07:25 PM

The issue is not making your current man feel like he’s inadequate. That's called lying. There’s no reason you can’t be the best she ever had. There's a myriad of reasons why you might not be able to be the best she ever had. We can start with how women see having to give instruction or "teach" to please her better as a turn off. We also have the fact that most women don't marry the guy that sexually aroused them the most. I can keep going.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/21 07:15 PM
1

I would argue that they deserve your honesty
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/21 07:13 PM

It's a combination of everything. I imagine the guy that gave her the most arousal is weighted heavily. For guys it was probably the girl who was the most enthusiastic/adventurous. And it's an apples to apples comparison.

Well, you can get jacked and make your own judgement I suppose. My experience is, I could always get girls to an extent. It's not like I couldn't get girls at all and thought getting yoked would flip everything upside down. I went from fat to pretty great shape. The quality of girls I can get hasn't changed. You know why? Because my face and height are my ceiling. So while 5-6 days a week in the gym for 5+ years has been great for me in many ways, it hasn't changed anything with women.

When you marry you are the perfect package in your wife’s eyes the perfect recipe of all the ingredients that’s why she picked you. This is fantasy land nonsense. Most people settle when they get married, therefore, the person they marry is not the "perfect recipe." Most people just end up with what they deem good enough. Women especially feel this way because their hypergamous nature doesn't allow them to be content with settling. That's why Rosa_Linda's friends are all bitching to her about th…

I'd actually prefer she be honest above all else, even though it would obviously be the end of the relationship. I'd rather not have it all than be someone's good enough in any respect. I don't want to live my life with someone who's holding a candle for someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/21 04:43 AM

Why'd you try to smooth it out? If you meant it, if those were your true feelings, why bother? The biggest thing about being an alpha is not apologizing (unless you have ulterior motives for doing so).

What did it feel like to be cheated on? Well I trusted her probably the most I've ever trusted anyone who wasn't family, so the betrayal felt insanely bad. It was a bad enough experience where I'll never look at relationships the same again. I had a couple short ones since, but I doubt I'll ever really be able to let my guard down in one again. Did you ever forgive them? The day we broke up is the last time we spoke, so I've never really had to. Do I really wish her ill will these days? Not real…

Assuming you're at least half way normal, you won't feel bad forever. If it was actually one time bad decision, you'll learn from it OR you'll decide it didn't actually feel that bad and let your worst impulses rule the day once again. It really depends what kind of person you really are. Have you ever gone through a similar situation on either end? Sure, I've been cheated on and came close to cheating myself. What do you want to know?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/21 12:49 AM

If you partially blame them you don't feel that guilty. You just want to be told you didn't do anything wrong, and anyone who does that is lying to you.

You'll be alright. You won't realize it now, but you'll almost certainly look back in a couple years and laugh at this.

any guy willing to fuck down enough can create an alpha widow. It takes more than [fucking] to create an alpha widow. Those two statements don't really jive

/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/21 09:23 PM

We'll just have to agree to disagree. You're more than welcome to try settling for good enough in a romantic relationship and see where it gets you. A couple girls have looked at me as a good enough, but in the end, good enough ain't really good enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/21 08:59 PM

Nope, there are alphas and betas. And contrary to RP, you can't become an alpha. Past childhood you either are or you aren't.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/21 08:48 PM

Generally speaking, having a boyfriend or girlfriend that isn't as good as your ex in bed doesn't have to mean the relationship is doomed. I just disagree. I don't want accept 'less than' in any aspect of my life, not just relationships. For example, now that I have my own house, I don't want to go back to living in a shitty apartment building with a shitty landlord, roaches, etc. Obviously if circumstances changed and I had to go back to that situation I could physically do it, but I would defi…

In an ideal world we'd control reproduction in such away that only the best of the best (male and female) would breed. Everyone else would be sterilized. Thankfully, females already do this in a sort of crude way. Hopefully the overall decrease in testosterone we're seeing in the male population will lead to males doing on their own as well.

SMV can vary wildly depending on, say, how much time you spend in the gym. I think you're drastically overstating how much muscles make a difference. Face, height, hair, etc. are much much more important. RMV seems to be much less of something you can concretely put effort into. I can earn more money, I can increase my status, I can do things that make me more interesting, etc. The thing is, none of these things increase lust.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/21 05:09 AM

I wasn't arguing whether it got easier. Of course it's fuckin easier, you're pursuing table scraps! I was taking issue with your statement that it's all worth it in the end because you'll end up with someone "decent." The scraps from this table are not decent, that I can assure you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/21 05:01 AM

Dating to what end? SMV is mostly inherent. RMV is more affected by effort, but the rate of return is still pretty abysmal.

If most women are actually happier alone than* with some guy they feel is beneath them, the outcome will be that women will be happier on average. You're also assuming women do actually want these men, and it's not outside pressure pushing them in a certain direction. People are supposed to pair up. When people choose not to, society views that as weird. Most people do care what others think, and I think women are more sensitive to what their peers think than men are. Can we stop with this nonsense about men "not having their shit together?" If it was about that men would be mostly be complaining about dates happening but never going anywhere because women loser interest upon finding out more about a guy. Instead men mostly complain about not being able to get dates at all. You know what that means? It means it's about looks. No amount of "getting your shit together" will change a man's face and height.

I was obviously foolish to think love was ever a real thing. The business arrangement you propose isn't good value for the money. Might as well just buy whores. Don't have to listen to them talk.

Lucky men: Woman give better gifts! And on average they spend more to: That sample size of men compared to women in that survey is dog shit. And 1 woman is the top spender by ~$25. It's hardly definitive proof that women spend more. And more likely to do favors: In the workplace. Kind of a stretch to say that's proof it carries over to romantic relationships, no? Damn. So how much more effort should a man have to put in to a relationship than the woman does to compensate for her entitlement then? 2x as much? 5x as much? 10x as much? You can take attitude and go pound sand.

My theory is that if a man is under a certain level of attractiveness she'll always feel like she's doing that guy a favor just by being with him. Like she could/should be doing better--whether she actually can or not in reality. Women know they have a massive upper hand in dating average men now, and they abuse the shit out of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 12:07 AM

Gifts? Let's not pretend that's equal. The cost of the engagement ring she'll eventually expect alone will eclipse the total value of any gifts a woman will give a guy over the course of a relationship. Even if we assume she gives him little thoughtful gifts over the course of the relationship as much as she expects him to, he's still losing bigly. Favors? I've never been able to get a woman I was with to do one for me that wasn't either like pulling teeth or that I didn't have to hear about how…

If running on the self-improvement treadmill after a carrot on a stick to meet the ever increasing demands of women in exchange for an ever decreasing return on investment is worth it to you, go with God brother. Kind of a false equivalency, because most would agree even bad ice cream is at least decent. That doesn't mean Ben and Jerry's isn't better than whatever half gallon is on sale for 2/$5 at your local grocery store this week. And the difference is, bad sex absolutely exists for both men and women.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 09:41 PM

It's probably not such a great analogy. I just think, as a more or less average guy, women have the odds stacked so much in their favor that it's not even worth showing up.

But I do think, after 2 months, the man at least (and probably the woman too) should know that they only want to keep seeing that one person. Men can know quicker than women do because they generally benefit from LTR's heavily and lengthen their lives. It's opposite for women. That's not my own personal experience, and I've heard many women--perhaps even the majority--say they feel more inhibited sexually within relationships for whatever reason. When I was around 20 I was broke, but was in a relationship where we had lots of sex. Probably at least twice a day for part of it. At the time, though, I was constantly worried about where my next meal was coming from or how I'd buy gas to get to work. ~9 years later I have enough banked where I could afford to not work for years without skipping a beat. I find that to be a tremendous weight off my shoulders that is way better than sex. So, yeah, I'll take the money without much thought.

Women find only about 15-20% of men physically attractive. Of that 15-20% of men, an individual woman won't find every single one of those men attractive. The remaining 80% of men are not part of the equation.

Actual data: The divorce rate, the fact that women overwhelmingly initiate that divorce, sexless marriages mostly caused by women, etc. Anecdotes: Ugly guys I know are treated like shit by their wives/gfs, while good looking men I know have this issue much less. For example, all the ugly guys have to ask their wife for permission for every little thing they want to do. Handsome men don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 06:49 PM

If you're not doing it for us, you don't also get to say that's what you're bringing to the table between you and a man. I'm saying that being a woman is more work Being a man with a good career, good education, ambition, a large social circle, a good family, in good shape, nice haircut, good style, etc--i.e. the qualities many women list as mandatory--is a hell of a lot more work than putting on makeup in the morning. Hell, you can forget all the other shit. I do more work just working out in t…

Whether I believe it or not is irrelevant. They can't have it both ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 07:14 PM

I think women are either in denial or are lying to themselves because it’s pretty depressing to realize all the effort, time, and money we spend for our looks is just to get validation as humans from males. At least there's something women can do to improve their looks as far as men are concerned. Men don't really have that luxury. Men are mostly limited to just improving their financial situation, and at that point the relationship is just glorified prostitution. Women often end up doing most o…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 07:14 PM

Women literally never shut up about how they do all that for themselves and don't do any of that shit for men. Can't have it both ways. tampons, Are you actually saying if it weren't for men, women would just be free bleeding all over the place?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 06:28 PM

I think the issue is, the average guy has to give a lot more than he gets these days.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 06:16 PM

your woman will automatically leave you once a taller and more attractive dude in a moments notice. I don't see anyone suggesting it's automatic, it's just extremely likely.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 06:13 PM

young women are having less sex than previous generations Marginally. It's nowhere near on the same level as men.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 04:20 PM

Yet they fail to explain how humanity has procreated up until now when the majority of e population on earth couldn't be further from a white, tall person. Women having freedom of choice is like a minute old relative to how long humans have existed, and even then it's still mostly limited to the west.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 04:18 PM

Once upon a time, I ended in a relationship with a girl who had a huge body count and who had done all kinds of wild shit. She let the hookup guys use her however they wanted. What did I get as relationship guy? Only positions she enjoyed and no blowjobs.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/21 05:30 PM

You only do the things you enjoy with your husband. You do things you may not particularly enjoy to impress the hookup guy. This is why it's a typical for to women stop sucking dick once they get married.

I’m not sure where you got “incapable of actually liking”. How would you feel if a guy tells you he's settling for you? Great I'm sure. Great sex life too I would hope so, you're still hustlin' for that rock! 6 years? Bet it ain't really as great as you say it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 03:33 AM

You're the one who said women can only settle for an average guy (I agree). If she is incapable of actually liking/being attracted to me, why the fuck would I invest in feeling anything for her?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 03:19 AM

How? Because I'd be getting regular duty sex for a while until she gets the ring? I could argue getting semi-regular sex through being deceptive while not having relationship responsibilities would be better.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 04:35 PM

It does seem to be coming to that, though. Male sexlessness is rapidly increasing, dating is moving more and more online where only the best looking men succeed at all, etc. It does actually seem like women are content to share men in the top 10-20% in looks than settle for anything less. Probably because they were never really attracted to anything less in the first place. Women just seem reluctant to acknowledge the writing on the wall.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/21 11:56 PM

That's not what I see, personally. Everyone seems to have an anecdote of the 5'6'' guy with AMAZING game/charisma that just slays, except I've never seen it real life. I was just asking. I think you're the exception to the rule.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 05:53 PM

Are you meaning to tell me no man has ever come into your life and sparked attraction during the first meeting?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 05:48 PM
12

Go to truerateme and explain to me why significantly more attractive women are rated the same 6 as an uglier man who put in zero effort. You just seem to be set on the idea that what you find attractive is somehow objective.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 05:47 PM

I've definitely had a shot with a couple women that I squandered by being too much of a pussy to make a move. When women feel they're giving pretty clear IOIs, and a man ignores them because he's either oblivious or dismisses them because of low self-esteem, she gets bored (or assumes the guy isn't interested*) and loses interest . I'm telling you this shit happens all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 05:30 PM

Rateme is a hugbox. Rateme is why the much harsher/realistic truerateme exists, and even they wimp out and ignore the people who are sub-5.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 05:23 PM

I should've been more clear: My position is not making a move quickly will almost always decrease your chances. I don't think you agree with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 05:18 PM

It certainly can decrease your chances, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 05:08 PM

what there is is some people simply not being attracted to you regardless of how slow or fast you are. It's just telling men that if they have romantic intentions with a woman they should find out where they stand on that sooner rather than later. There's no sense building up romantic feelings toward a woman who will never reciprocate them.

People grow, and learn, and become educated. Sure, I have long suspected that monogamy was a part of the problem. But the thing is, if you aren’t monogamous, you don’t have to be (but don’t get mad when people start calling you a slut/whore), if you aren’t open and upfront... you’re in for a bad time when your strictly monogamous partner finds out you’ve been lying to them about a crucial part of your self identity. I don't personally think monogamy is the issue. I just don't think it's meant to…

I 100% did until I realized women will uncontrollably lose respect for you if you let any cracks show. Long story short, I was with my first serious gf through some rough shit. I loved her and respected her regardless of the fact that it strained the relationship at times. A couple years later when she was in a better place and I went through some shit for a couple months, she sought out greener pastures. So yeah, no woman will ever get that kind of benefit of the doubt from me again.

I forgot fame, but that affects such an insignificant portion of the population that it's not really relevant. So I guess it isn't only genetics, but for the overwhelming majority of people it is.

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/21 02:30 AM

You want to be the one being pursued. You want men to approach you, flirt with you, ask you out, plan dates, etc. That's your prerogative, but he has decided the effort isn't yielding the returns he'd like. You want him to keep trying when he's specifically looking to filter women like you. That doesn't mean that I dated on easy mode or that things fell into my lap, because that definitely wasn't the case. This is akin to trust fund kids who were born on third base and think they hit a triple.

The ROI on maxing everything out is very poor. You'll bump yourself up a point or two at the absolute maximum. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, everyone should seek to be the best version of themselves they can be, but don't do it for women. You'll probably be very disappointed.

What I have a problem with trp about numbers is to be proud of overcoming the rarity they created... It feels good to be the exception to the rule, at least that's the way I see it. I want a woman to desire me so much that she can't resist. And I don't believe men created the rarity. The men women are attracted to are what is rare here. And having the same numbers where its too high for a woman, whatever her age is I agree, there should be a sliding scale. And the more I see society evolved, the…

Another problem is the idea that women are sluts if they are as promiscuous as men Whatever you want to call them, they're not (monogamous) relationship material. The few men who can get laid easily and take full advantage of it probably aren't either, so I'm not applying some double standard here. And what I'm telling you is that people want to be love, to have sex, before having kids, so it happens before too Yeah, fine. Settling is still settling, though. Feminism is promoting right now that basically every woman is a goddess, even at 400 lbs Part of it's feminism/our shit society, and part of it is most men being desperate dogs who will fuck anything just to add another notch in their belt, which leads to inflated egos on the part of women. The point is that the value we give ourselves isn't necessarily related to age Eh, women who want kids, which is most of them, are motivated to find a guy to settle down with. They won't get commitment from guys they really want who are out of their league, so they 'settle' for the guys in their league. This makes them miserable. A guy can be average for one woman and handsome for another one I have to disagree here too. There's a reason every woman I've been with has acted like they're doing me…

I wasn't referring to aging. There's a point where a woman knows her own attractiveness and average will be enough. Being settled for as a safe landing spot as she descends out of her prime isn't what I'd call the basis for a healthy relationship. She'll be unsatisfied and she's going to make the guy she settles for feel it, consciously or otherwise. I know this is your sister we're talking about here, so no disrespect, but it sounds like there are other factors at play here. It could be her looks, low self-esteem, or something like that. Or she's dating down status wise with guys that are exceptionally handsome, tall, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/21 07:44 PM

If facial attractiveness isn't there to begin with, nothing else matters. So yes, a man with an attractive face can hurt himself with other qualities. An ugly/average face cannot be overcome by improving other qualities, however.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/21 09:10 PM

Do you want to deal with crazy, expensive, dangerous, annoying people for life? In my case, there's no drama, just no connection. My father and I have pretty much mutually agreed there's no relationship to be had there and we haven't spoken in 10+ years. By extension, his side of the family has more or less cut me out too. I'm close with my mom, but her side is pretty much just her. So I don't have a good strong family, but there's no real baggage there. I guess this is a red flag, though?
