true story time. I was being sexually harassed at work. Shit like "Hey beautiful", "I haven't had sex in 2 months" and just general fucking lude comments. I mostly ignored the messages, one day my friend convinced to me to report it. She fabricated a story saying I was hitting on her on a private messaging app which I never fucking did as I wanted nothing to do with her. I received a write up at my job.

Me too don't worry. I didn't have a family really growing up and no one really explained to me that student loans are basically insanely large investments in your future. You can deactivate your account in the setting which will delete all comments. Technically yes, reddit will maintain a log of everything including your email. You run the same risk on reddit that you run in pretty much any website you would have an account for. On the positive side reddit itself does not ask for much demographic information, unlike a shopping website might hold.
