This advice is different if you’re living in Europe. In the UK, a mid-level position in Accounting, Data Science, Software Dev, Medicine, Engineering, Analytics will usually net you £30-50k. An average marketing job with some experience will also likely net you £30k-ish per year - there is simply less wage disparity over here, and so the chances of ever becoming “comfortable” via career as you describe are lower than the US. That’s unless you sell your soul working for a big bank or a FAANG comp…

An interesting way I’ve discovered anecdotally of finding out what you need to change in your life without using psychedelics to would to be sit down and meditate upon what conclusions you’d come up with and what your life would be like if you took them. I’m not even joking, it sounds stupid as fuck, but it worked for me, and I’ve never even taken psychedelics. I’ve seen a lot of posts and videos recommending psychedelics over the years in all sorts of contexts - being more creative, getting ove…

I think, ironically, focusing on micro-expressions and cringey things about yourself can come across as too self-absorbed and cringe. It depends how you do it - if it comes from a place of anxiety, where you are worried about coming across as a loser, then yeah, it doesn't work. If you already have a pretty decent mental state and would like to be more comfortable with your external social appearance, while getting rid of any subtle tics which could bring you down, then I suppose that could work…

Can’t make a sharpened sword if it wasn’t forged in fire first. Anecdotally speaking, I’ve built myself up - I go to the gym, play squash, learned guitar, started listening to more music and watching more films (gives you more topics to talk about) - I didn’t do this just to get pussy, but to actually live a life which is interesting and not situated in front of a screen 12 hours a day. And yet, if I never approach women, I will never get game nor a girlfriend.

While this is true, I think most people subconsciously notice your little quirks or things which make you feel cringey, and apply that to their internal perception of you. If you meet someone for the first time and feel nervous, they will be able to sense it subconsciously, and I’m sure if you watched a video of yourself you’d also be able to sense this. This can just be through little things like microexpressions, subtle body languages cues, etc. When we watch a video of ourselves, we are just …

When a woman wants to remain single, she is brave, strong and independent. When a man does it, he has "Peter Pan Syndrome"? Sort of. The mistake you're making here is that you fail to pick up that men and women's roles in dating are fundamentally different. The woman's role, broadly and evolutionary speaking across society, is to select the most competent mate, and the man to be as competent as possible to attract a good partner. This explains the origin of "slut shaming", because somehow we fig…

You do realise that women can not, and will not, ever be held to the same standards as men? Sure, if an advertising campaign is majority male, we will see companies apologising for underrepresenting women, yet if it is the other way around, it simply will not be mentioned. This will never change, no matter how much bitching “MRA”s and this subreddit does. To understand why, you need to have a deeper look into the way that the media operates and how companies get funded, and how these contribute …

It’s funny because a friend, who normally is very pro-women in this kind of thing, claimed that Liz Truss is ruining women’s representation in politics, because even though she is a woman, she isn’t a good one because of her policies etc. Just goes to show the double standard really - criticise politicians for being white men, but still complain anyway when someone isn’t a white man.

Women on the internet don't represent women in the real world. Just as a lot of people here are likely different in real life compared to the internet.

I'll clarify, I was being hyperbolic about it in my original post. My point was that as a man, in my opinion at least, you shouldn't necessarily *ignore* people who shove this down our throats, but take it in stride and don't allow yourself to be manipulated by it, either through outrage or by complying. Recognise that what is being pushed is incorrect and morally wrong, but don't succumb to helplessness and keep your head up high. Their entire strategy is based on demoralisation.

It seems like anyone who discusses Tate doesn't have a nuanced opinion - in my view, almost every topic should have nuance. To many, either he's a misogynist devil, or saviour to young men who says it as it is. Look, he has said quite a few true things which appeal to young men which aren't talked about anywhere else - there are a lot of men who are lonely, spend most of their time on a screen, feel like they are going nowhere in life, who are depressed, and have never had any kind of romantic r…

I believe that men should be entitled to financial abortion when a woman gets pregnant through deception of the man. For example, if she lies about being on birth control, gives him a broken condom, refusing to take plan B when she said she would, etc. I absolutely believe that the child’s life is the most important, but just as it would be unreasonable to expect a mother to raise a child for 18 years when she’d been raped, it’s unreasonable to suggest the same thing of a man.

The rise of feminism historically has also coincided with many other phenomenons - it has coincided with decline in religion, increase in homosexuality and transgenderism, decline of the family, sexual promiscuity, depression, general societal unrest, and pushes to increase hedonism in society. Once a society reaches this point, it is usual for it to be invaded, or have very radical changes (see: Hitler). To suggest that all of these phenomenons are caused by feminism itself is incorrect in my o…

My personal motivating philosophy regarding this issue is this (it’s pretty cliche, but within cliche is truth imo): In nature, tribes and packs of animals are continuously rising and falling, including our own. In societies which are falling, it’s only the few strongest animals who push through the collapse and uncertainty that end up passing on their genes, thus strengthening the future of their gene pool. Do you want to be one of the few who push through this current societal bullshit unscath…

I disagree - your claim is paradoxical. Women are also choosing not to have children despite being unfairly advantaged when it comes to custody and alimony, so this situation doesn’t explain the decrease in birthrates. The real reason is much more sinister in my view - I would highly encourage you to read about the behavioural sink and the Universe 25 experiments. The TLDR on these experiments is that when a population collectively believes something is wrong with society, whether this be overpo…

What is the point in living if you don’t have a legacy? What, you expect me to work 40 hours a week until I’m 75, come home from work and play on my PlayStation every night, jerk off to porn, save up money, and for what? A man’s duty is to provide for his family, and a woman’s to have children. Find yourself a woman who holds your values, or at bare minimum someone who doesn’t care about trying to live a celebrity lifestyle.
/r/MensRights07/08/22 12:24 AM

Why would you want to raise someone else’s child (re: adoption)? Everyone likes to pretend that this isn’t true, but deep in every man’s heart, he wants to pass on his genes and have a legacy. The only way you can do this is by finding a decent woman. It’s a shit deal for men, but that’s surely better than no deal at all?

It’s legal but not mandatory. Activists generally have the stance that it should be illegal for parents to decide, because you know, your body your choice and all.

Why do you think everyone is miserable, depressed, not wanting to have kids, and hating society in general? In my opinion, women wanting to be in the army and men wanting to show weakness are merely symptoms of much wider, serious issues in society at large. In a normal functioning society, on average, men don't want to show feminine traits, and women don't want to show masculine traits. This is partially regulated by social conditions, and partially by DNA, but these two factors should always a…

A man’s value in society is intrinsically linked to how much sex he can get because a woman’s role is to select the best possible mate. For this reason, a woman’s value is instead based on how selective she is, which is the natural origin of “slut shaming”, and why virginity in women is valued but not in men. This isn’t just some “social construct” as feminists would have you believe, this is literally built into our DNA - we see the same thing in mice. Therefore, “virgin” as an insult to a man …

conditioning I disagree - men are biologically supposed to be tough brutes, and women be mothers. The so called “social constructs” in this situation are literally built into our DNA. You see the same behaviours in mice.
/r/MensRights03/08/22 09:44 AM

Because men and women are biologically different - these so called “social constructs” are built into our DNA. It’s a woman’s job to select suitable male mates, which means that they naturally appear more defensive against men. Women also naturally have a stronger in-group bias than men, so this behaviour is to be expected. I wouldn’t go down the radical leftist route of denying biology, if I was you.

With all due respect, that’s not my question - my question is whether 3 year olds have the right to change their gender, or the right to have surgery. Of course someone has the right to request that someone addresses them a certain way, but again, that was not my question. My question was whether I should be legally required to address someone that way.

Unfortunately I feel that most of the stupidly large companies involved in these plots are too large to fail, and will still continue pushing the agenda regardless of losses. If you’d like to go further down the rabbit hole, look into who invests into companies like Netflix, Amazon, Alphabet (YouTube/Google), and other publishing companies. One principal culprit would be BlackRock (which, ironically, I bet you haven’t heard leftists criticise), the single largest and most valuable entity in hist…

Yes, except the original comment was actually on topic and statistically accurate, as men get longer sentences than women, in a thread about a woman getting a short sentence. Meanwhile, your entire comment is based around "but men sometimes get 6 months in prison for a totally different crime", which is not only anecdotal and misleading, but is totally irrelevant to the current discussion. In fact, your comment could be used to "justify" any kind of opposition to the MRM whatsoever. It's basical…

For the same crime, men statistically get far longer than women in prison, and are more likely to go to the prison for that same crime to begin with. Your whataboutism doesn’t cut it.

Anything which is perceived to have a net disadvantage towards women on a societal scale is deemed to be mysogonistic in the eyes of people who agree with this dogma. In other words, men getting a better deal in life is seen as hurting women implicitly.

Feminism can only exist due to society’s collective desire to care for women. The same thing doesn’t innately exist for men, therefore it would be impossible for a “male version of feminism” to exist.

He used a famous British millionaire actor as an example of a wider trend in our society, this isn't a Tom Holland thread necessarily... I noticed that social media and modern society in general loves to try to strip men of their masculinity.

I think it’s more generally to do with our society’s attitude towards the topic. I’ve listened to people first hand talking about how “masculinity is bullshit” while then going on to say similar stuff about men generally being emasculated.

The individuals who produced the pro-circumcision study in the AAP are Jewish, and have been quoted supporting MGM and FGM due to their religious beliefs. This study is then used in the media to encourage circumcision, which coincidentally, it would be antisemetic for me to say what religious group tends to publish these articles.
/r/MensRights05/05/22 08:14 AM

Circumcision is a literal blood sacrifice designed by rabbis to punish men for something people were doing thousands of years ago. The way that they do it involves sharpening their fingernails into claws and ripping the child’s foreskin to shreds. The rabbi will then suck the boy’s bloody penis. It’s purpose in the religion is quite literally a lesser form of child sacrifice, designed to tie the child to the religion as a kind of “hazing”, while simultaneously removing nearly all possible sexual…

I'll rephrase - it has by far the highest number of cases in the developed world. I misremembered the exact point, my apologies. However, my argument stands. To add to my original argument, this is also definitive proof that circumcision is not a HIV deterrent on a societal level. The studies which cite a "60% difference" (which is relative, not absolute, making this statistically shoddy) also have glaring methodological errors including ending the trial as soon as a cumulative statistical diffe…

The probability of getting HIV goes from 2.8% to 1.3%. Big whoop. Do you know what else reduces HIV transmission? Condoms. Not only this, but the US, despite being the most widely circumcised country on Earth, has the highest rates of HIV. How do you explain this? Mutilating a child because it reduces the chance of getting HIV by 1.5% is bullshit.
/r/MensRights03/05/22 04:21 PM

Circumcision is a literal ancient rabbi blood sacrifice used to punish men. It is the most gruesome form of sexual abuse carried out on a helpless baby. It has no proven benefits besides reducing the probability of catching HIV from 2.5% to 1.2% (wow, what a difference!), yet this is questionable considering that the US has the highest rates of HIV in the West. It had also been adopted by anti-masturbation activists to stop boys from masturbating, which doesn’t work.

I can see how he would say that - society’s “views” on the dating scene are specifically oriented to benefit women. They tell men that they shouldn’t have a dating strategy, but instead to “just be yourself”, “the right woman will come eventually”, etc. despite this being specifically beneficial to women and unbeneficial to men - they are fairy tales. At the end of the day you need to stoop to their level - if you did choose to use dating apps, get some good photos, filter them and airbrush them…

Correct, but the petition doesn't include "forced to penetrate", it just includes things not involving a penis, which isn't rape as there is no penetration in the first place.

The petition is poorly worded, it doesn't explicitly include "forced to penetrate", it instead just includes other things which don't involve a penis, which borders on not being rape at all. I worry that even if this did get 10k signatures, it will still result in an underwhelming response from the govt.

Men date across and down on the heirarchy, women date across and up on the heirarchy. That's a fact of life, and it's why women will choose men with better career prospects, who are taller, more in shape, wealthier and better looking, while men are generally less fussed and will just settle for someone average who is funny and nice.

Marxism preaches that everyone belongs to groups, and that everyone who is part of a group will nearly always act in the interests of that group. Since Marxists have the world view that some groups are less advantaged than others, they believe that ideas which don’t benefit a supposedly less advantaged group (ie. someone acting in the favour of men) is automatically sexist or trying to undermine those of less advantaged groups. Therefore, even admitting that men face some issues is a problem for…

Because the marxist school of thought believes that if an individual belongs to a group, they will always act in the interests of the group (ie. men). Thinking this, marxists will tell you that you are sexist because you are acting in the interests of your group disproportionately over other groups, which goes against the marxist mantra of ultimate equality. Increasing the living standards of the already-supposed better group just statisically furthers the gap. This is why they think you are sex…

I disagree - they are misguided, not dumb. The ultimate goal of marxism is ultimate equality, where everyone in society are equals, where nobody is being exploited for labour and there are minimal differences in quality of life. This, however, will never work as the people who are pushing for marxism are often the very capitalists which marxism seeks to displace. This essentially means that we will be left with a ruling class and a working class. This system doesn't work because, again, it assum…

Just because men are in power doesnt mean they look out for other men This is part of the marxist line of thinking, and why the people you are trying to reason with do not understand - the marxist logic goes that if someone belongs to a group, they will always act in the interests in that group and like the rest of said group, essentially removing individualism. This is why said people often believe that "you cannot be racist to white people, as racism is power + prejudice", since it's thought t…

I swear the tactic used to justify the most ludicrous ideas is to just produce some kind of tabloid title which implies that it has some kind of scientific backing, since the majority of people don't read the article. "Nazism doesn't have to be about hating minorities - a structural analysis", "Censoring people on social media isn't Orwellean, here's why", and "Matriachies are not just a reversal of patriachies: a structural analysis".
