That’s a big tourist town, I imagine it would be completely different in the winter when the tourists come.

Take care of your skin, hair, and dress well can go a long way. Very few people are naturally ugly or can't be made attractive with proper care.

Just be nice, complement the something that stands out to you like the set up, a painting, games they have out or something. Don't over do it, or make it too generic. People like to get complements and may spark a bit of conversation. Bring something, if you are drinking bring booze, no one likes a mooch. Share an interesting story, and join the conversation.

This is the right answer. If you're picking up dancing because you enjoy chances are you'll meet a few girl along the way, if you're doing it specifically to meet girls they will probably sniff the desperateness for a mile away.

Honestly I'd probably end things right there, or at least call her out. I don't think deflecting or ignoring is the right approach here. I have a rule of thumb that I never intentionally say anything to make people feel uncomfortable. Mistakes happen, but I don't see any scenario where making that comment isn't just for the sake of being mean spirited.

Just own it, everyone has a regrettable hook up story. Yours doesn't sound that bad if she was just a little chubby. It could be much worse.

I'm 26 as well and personally I couldn't see myself dating a 18 year old. Too much difference in what we would have been through and how we think. I don't think the age gap is weird as far as looks are concerned, it's mostly the experience gap.

The optimal strategy for guys on tinder I think is to just like everyone until you runout of likes and then only message the girls you find interesting. It's more time efficient, and you gain back control.

I go to the gym for myself. Granted I used to be a good shape and then slacked for years, and now coming back because I miss it. As long as you're not overweight, the difference is marginal but I helps with confidence.

Its impossible to carry a conversation in a setting like that. It just wont happen. Expectations at a club are different, specially if its so laud that you have to shout at her ear just so say hi. Personally, I hate clubs and only go every once a month or so. I like the bar setting a lot better, but recently I've trying to improve my day game because I was relying too much on online dating.

Kino, eye contact, approach, kiss. It's a loud club, fewer words are better, if she is not available or doesn't want she will either avoid eye contact, move away, or pull back. No words needed.

Here's something for the guys struggling with the V card. I lost mine at a really late age. Was it incredible, oh thank god FINALLY, this is the greatest thing ever ever? Nope. It's extremely over rated. Underwhelming to be honest. Sex is not good just because of physical aspect. We need intimacy and companionship, its a basic human need. This is why going through dry spells is so hard. Even if you're not thinking about it, or even if its not necessarily the best thing in the world, it is still …

I haven't ever been attracted to a particular person before either. I don't mean to judge or post unsolicited advise but I can relate because I used to feel this way too. I wanted to feel attracted to someone, and ideally that person would be attracted to me as well. That's the kind of relationship I wanted and I was willing to wait until for "right one" to come in. I abandoned that line of thinking, its less about what I am attracted to right now but more what I want at this moment. It takes ti…

That's what an initial date should be. Go with no romantic expectation and escalate asd appropriate

I'm a mice guy and I will never change this. I am who I am and I've learned to love myself and try to always improve. However one condition for me to date someone is that I have to think she's outside my league. As long as you love yourself and you're self critical while willing to improve you can score just about anyone. Confidence and self respect are they keys.

Isn't that intimidating sometimes? Happened in class last week with me, I maintained eye contact and smiled, she smiled too but left class very quickly and I ended up not being able to approach her. Will try again next time I have that class.

I never thought about this be but I think he is right. Its a lot harder to find a friend than it is to find a relationship/hookup. Probably cause most people have higher standards for friendships than they do for sex.

Join a gym and give lifting a try. Seriously the guys at the gym love to help out new comers, its a great place to meet people, and trust me no one will judge if you don't know what you are doing. Pick a hobby and look for people interested in similar things. Watch the World Cup. Go to a bar, put on a Brazilian jersey (no bias here... of course), grab a few beers and socialize. Subscribe to /r/socialskills , its similar to /r/seduction but more open ended.
