If she's just a plate I don't know why you're scheduling hangouts on back to back days in the first place. You should be seeing her once a week, 2 max on occasion.. or else she'll start catching feels and want to be upgraded even quicker, more dram, etc, maybe you're going to start have to consoling them every time there's a family issue..

Yeah speaking from personal experience your friend is what it should be worried about. He's waiting for the moment when he can slip through the cracks and take advantage. And obviously your gf is at least little into him. The writing is on the wall, not sure what can be done about it but that's my take.

Then you were weak on the "do you want to grab coffee sometimes". I get this, how I actually phrased it was more, " I want to take you out to coffee sometime.. throw me your number". Good analogy w/ the basketball though, I'll definitely keep it in mind in the future. Pretty much same here, I live like 3 minutes from a very similar ice cream place, think the plan is just to grab some, maybe just walk around a bit down the street or something then just suggest we get out of the cold at my place or if I think of a better excuse use that one haha.
