I think the only time the courts should have any say in divorces is in the case of children being involved. I think marriage should be deregulated and privatized. People shouldn't be incentivized by lower taxes and insurance premiums to get married, and there shouldn't be a finnancial gain from getting divorced. This is why I believe collective identities are poison to the individual and the individuals role within democracy. It polarizes people against each other by superficial means and causes the actual issues to become secondary. Not to mention it punitively applies generalized attributes to the individual which is then very difficult to transcend. Furthermore it nurtures dependence on the group and perpetuates the victim mentality as a virtue.

I wouldn't say never because I could simply abstain in order to pass a drug test. I don't think I would though because the type of job that typically requires drug tests often also have other very rigid, controlling, and bureaucratic aspects to it( except drivers n' such(which is understandable). I'm too much of a free spirit you might say. I guess I see the spectrum where you just see black and white.
