The money you're able to save goes up and down, but the habits and actions stay the same. You're a man. Take control of your finances.

I came here to post this. It's an incredibly well put-together video that I would have thought was professionally made if not for the voice work. PLEASE get the voice acting and voice sound quality fixed, and put it out there. The premise is completely on point and otherwise it's perfect.

I mean, "full power" being all of 130hp. Probably somewhere around 110 at this point. Underpowered sports cars are the best.

YES. One of my favorite parts about this car is inducing what little snap oversteer it can accomplish. On a tight turn I will turn in with full power or close to it until I sense understeer, then completely lift off the throttle and let the back end push me around the corner. It's certainly not smooth/fast, but it's fun as fuck.

Never heard of it, but the steam review sounds awesome.

Gt4s are awesome machines. My MR2 is a 91 5sfe non-turbo. I really enjoy the whole Camry reliability with dogshit horsepower, since you can flog it around corners and never break the speed limit. Coming from an E63 AMG weekend car.

You're right. I just call any dude tangled in a girl a beta.

They all four live there, I think. It's absolutely convoluted and I'm glad to be a very safe distance from it.

Backstory: My friend has never had much luck with girls, and bagged himself a hot one after we all went out one night. We met Amanda and Nicole, and this random dude Evan ended up coming up to all of us and met them too. My friend (name blurred to protect the innocent) ended up dating Nicole, and this sketchy beta Evan started dating Amanda. Six months later they're all living together in friend's step dad's rental house. My friend's relationship goes south and they break up about two weeks ago.…

Balance, sure. However the buoyancy is such that the weight would be too large for the door to float and it would sink to the bottom with them. Maybe if Rose lost a couple pounds it might have worked out.

Unfortunately it wasn't about surface area, but buoyancy. I did the calcs for some friends a year or so ago, based on 85% of the Titanic's Oak parlour doors' dimensions, with agreed-on weights of 130lbs for Rose and 150lbs for Jack. The oak door has enough buoyant force to float with one of them, but not both. Not to say he couldn't have gone and saved himself with other debris...

I usually wear a t-shirt and jeans when I'm not working. The difference in attitude between that and a fitted Hugo Boss suit is night and day... Found my monk robes.

Such a fun car! Slow as dogshit in a straight line but like a murderous gokart in the corners. Mines a 91 as well.

Quonset hut has some weird angles but the peak is 11.5 ft. The MR2 can get 6 ft of underhead clearance but anything higher will top out on the corner.

Surprisingly cheap if you have the requirred depth of concrete. Dude came in and installed it for $2100 all in, then we put a 4x8 sheet of plywood on it and used it at a party that night as a beer pong table.

I've had some issues with the front end suspension/steering but that's mostly mileage and age of the rubber. The drivetrain is slow but mostly the same 5sfe found in the early 90s Camry. It's been nothing but the epitome of Toyota reliability for me.

OP here. I got started with a metric socket set and a jack / jackstand set. Tons of youtube videos out there for car repair, which beat the shit out of the old Haynes manuals. Get yourself a 3/8 torque wrench with a range between ~30 and ~150 ft-lbs and you've got yourself an awesome starter set. Most importantly, diagnose before you replace. There's plenty of resources and good people online waiting to help you!

I work in cybersecurity at power stations through kind of a fluke. It started as me working as a mechanical engineer and somewhat randomly pursuing a masters in electrical and computer engineering at the same time. That led to working for the local power company, and talking about what I was doing in school along with being reliable and hard working led me to a giant ~8 year project increasing cybersecurity despite not having any direct experience. Now I get to learn on the job daily and actuall…

Thanks for your reply. I don't follow Buddhism the religion, but when people ask about my spirituality I find it's easier to say "I'm Buddhist" than "my personal spiritual development doesn't align to any religion, but it most closely aligns to the original ideas and tenets of Buddhist philosophy". If that makes any sense.

Colleges are REQUIRING people to spend money taking gen. ed. courses to learn about the quadratic formula (and other shit they will never use) when they could be giving classes on MARRIAGE and HOW TO DO YOUR TAXES.” Oh my lord.
