By definition you cannot tell the difference between fantasy and reality when in psychosis. It is a key aspect of the condition. I’ve had 3 psychotic episodes and also suffer from paranoia post episodes and my psychiatrist has explained the differences between them very clearly to me. BDP being looked at as the borderline between neurosis and psychosis is an incredibly outdated definition and is no longer scientifically relevant as it isn’t how the condition functions. Hence why it is now referred to by psychiatrists as EUPD. Two things, first you tried it with one therapist for what I am assuming was not a long period of time. 7	Can we please acknowledge that most violence statistics are going to be inherently incorrect due to how few violent female perpetrators get reported? Men are 2-3 times less likely (at least here in the UK) to report domestic violence, I know I certainly didn't and never even thought of it due to fear of either being ignored or called a liar which happens frequently.
