This was similar to what I was thinking. The mentality of the bus driver is harmful to both the men and women waiting to get on. Her bias instills a sense of deference in men and a sense of needing the help of an authority figure in order to find a seat on the bus.

It's a little different because evolution is closer to the category of fact while most of this is an assumption with conclusions. I disagree with your assumptions, not the conclusions you draw from them.

If you share your feelings with someone and they tell you to man up. This actually is the appropriate response. I just don't feel like the "man-up" mantra is as prevalent as this post is making it out to be. On that note, I've told girl friends to man up before. It's not about sharing emotion that people have a problem with, it's the self-pitying tone that some people take. In which case, the appropriate answer is to man up. Fuck pity.

That's because women are less physically advantaged than men. The law works in crappy ways against everyone. Those cases where a man is raped are so few and far between, it's difficult for the criminal justice system to work for those affected men. The crux of what your saying (If I'm understanding correctly) is that women will lie about being raped in this circumstance because they have the opportunity to? I'm still confused because it, the accusations will still be equal percentage-size regard…

Wait a second. Are you saying women lie more than men in reporting crimes or just rape charges? Because on the whole men and women lie at the same rate when pressing charges. Women are not less trustful than men, at least not in any empirical way. I have sources if you want them.
