Men would win the first few battles then lose the war as they slowly died of starvation.

Can I at least wait for my divorce to be final? Because that first date conversation is awkward as fuck.

HPV does go away actually.

Currently going through a divorce and so far there have been zero signs of rape. For context: She ended it. I make twice what she does. I can afford decent legal council, she cant. Its not over until its over of course, and I have remained as generous as possible throughout the process thus far...but there are always exceptions to every rule.

My turn to humble brag... Last Friday I had a first date with a girl I'd hooked up with previously...she calls me after work and says she wants to get dinner and drinks with me, asserts that she wants to pick me up and then proceeds to pay for dinner because "she asked me to come." I'm still confused...smugly confused. What gives in this situation?

If I can do it, you can. Just do it man.

Dont ask. Tell. Put her name in your phone, hand to her and say "here, put your number." But yea...you're basically on the same page.

Eat well, drink less, dont fap. Intermittent fasting might help too. If you're dead after work, get up earlier and get your heart beating before work. Or just do something quick to boost your metabolism during the day.

Everything means something. I guess it was just another red flag that I should've paid attention to. I dont just mean casual friends either. She's had one best friend since I met her, but they dont spend a ton of time together. Outside of that she would go through about one good friend per year. She would do anything for these friends at first, then slowly become spiteful and bitter towards them as the friendship became more nuanced, eventually ending in a dramatic blow up, even a physical fight…

Getting divorced. My wife checks almost every single one of these boxes. Dad bailed when she was a kid. Smokes and cant stay away from sugar. Goes through female friends like water and always has a couple male friends around. Meaningless tattoos and constant changes to flamboyant hair colors. No meaningful hobby outside of work, though shes started dabbling in a couple recently. Add that she takes no personal responsibility for anything in her life. Her health problems are god spiting her, her r…

This is all pretty accurate from a scientific/biological perspective, but I suppose it will get downvoted as it doesnt quite match the common paradigm around here.

I guess I'm still not really clear on what exactly you're looking for.

Funny, I read a highly upvoted comment just yesterday saying that TRP was explicitly about sexual strategy and not self improvement.

r/fitness and r/personalfinance would be a good start. The sidebar readings on TRP are, for the most part, good for anyone looking to become a better man. Some of it even directly contradicts the bullshit that all the reformed betas on here spew in the posts and comments.

If any of this is true...what the fuck are you doing on reddit seekig validation from reformed beta neckbeeards?

There is literally nothing redpill about this post...why are you posting here?

Do it. It's a waste of time, money and motivation. It also feeds into other bad habits like porn and drinking. I'd say there is nothing wrong with the occasional smoke on a camp trip or whatever, but without tolerance I can no longer enjoy the shit anyway, so its all or nothing for me.

I'm always surprised that I never see endurance training (specifically mountain biking for me) listed as a voluntary discomfort. I'll be headed out into 95+ degree weather to climb some 1000ft of hills several times this week. And the reward that follows the climb is the ultimate payoff.

To be honest, one of the primary sidebar readings (NMMNG) directly contradicts a lot of the advice you'll find in these subs on several topics. There is some silliness here, but the primary tenants are good. Fix yourself, the only person you can control is you.

Right here with you man. 1 week free of PMO I feel like a completely different person. My gravity is back. People were offering me drinks last night and I was turning them down. Another addiction I cant say no to...and I effectively have a date in a couple days. Stick with it man, its soooo worth it. I feel more alive than I have in years.

I'm certainly no stranger to spending time alone. Oddly, I feel like a lot of the book didnt really apply to me. I'm a nice guy in my marriage for sure...but outside of it, not so much. I'm also no caretaker. My addictions have been my greatest problem. I realize that now and I'm battling those demons head on like I never have in my life.
