Early man thought God's wrath came in the form of lightning, volcanoes, earthquakes. Science explains why these natural phenomena occur. Herein lies the difficulty in pinpointing where God really is. If lightning is a natural function of electricity and God did not cause it to strike that person dead, could God have still been acting to put in motion the events that led up to that particular release of electrical charge? When science explains why something happens, religion simply backs up one s…

Do you believe that science will eventually discover God? Or will God eventually discover science? I can see how it is possible to believe that a God created everything and set the rules in motion. I can also see how it is possible for science to uncover those rules put in motion by God. But religion won't be able to survive if science discovers God. The entire premise of religion is faith - belief in the unknown. This is why the church has such a sordid history in connection to science. Religio…

The "truth" of religion is not known until it is taught. This means we are all atheists at birth until converted by religious indoctrination. The original skepticism is of …

It appears the point of contention is semantic. Mankind is traditionally used to represent the group of all males and all females collectively. Since it uses 'Man' in the word, this makes some people unhappy. They would like the term to be gender neutral. Feminists are a group of people who traditionally champion the cause of women's rights. Some argue that feminism also fights for men's rights. If that were true, then the argument being made about changing gender specific words like mankind to …

Forced compliance has been around for a long time. Slavery is the most common definition of forced compliance. Do you recognize that many people have been forced to obey commands against their will? If you were told to do X or you will die, ultimately you have a choice, obey or die. Philosophically we argue that you free will has been taken from you. The choice between obedience and death is not a freely made decision, it is made under duress.

Another interpretation: The question, "Do you wanna dance?" is centered above both of them. This alludes to it being ok for either person to initiate the activity. Your apology is well received. That description of toxic femininity is awesome. Those are very real actions that cause harm to self and others. After having this epiphany, what new thoughts are you having? How does this change your worldview? Are you ready to embrace the truth that the problems of the world and society are not solely caused by men? That both men and women contribute to the problem and must also contribute to the solution?
