I guess I was trying to say is that traits women found attractive were also traits that were the best for fathering children, whether or not children were there.

Thanks and good examples. Even if they seem to only be advantageous in a long-gone hobbsian jungle, they're still attractive traits. So much for giving women a reasonable motive.

Can you think of a trait that women want that also means a guy is less suitable to raise children?

every guy is programmed to fuck 85% of the women that exist. the fact that they don't is because women won't let them. it's not you who is keeping your libido in check. the guy working at home depot wants to fuck just as many women as a celebrity but he can't do it, because chicks don't care about lumber. so what do chicks care about? and how do they figure out whether the guy has what they want? well apart from being a celebrity, there's flirting. flirting is a signalling game with no cost. wha…

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought this is what "framing" was all about. It's about not agreeing to the way they see the world, and maintaining the way you see it.

People and relationships are impermanent. Grasping at something that does not exist (i.e. a permanent person/relationship) will always result in unhappiness. Just enjoy it for what it is.

If a woman finds valdiation easy to get, you provide no value by giving it to her. Making them feel jealous and/or uncertain about their attractiveness would be more effective.

A double-edge razor - refillable blades are about 50c ea as opposed to $4-5ea for a gillette mach 3. They're also better than a straight-edge because you never have to sharpen them. If you want to indulge, get a badger brush and a tub of shave cream as well, they'll make shaving a pleasure.

isolating the man helps when they try to enforce their own solipilistic view. it also makes the man more dependent on the relationship.

There are two issues here. One is regarding the forum and the other is between the sisters. First off, that forum has a rule of no underage pics, it should be respected. If the pic is not underage, then let's assume she's telling (what she believes to be) the truth, that is, it was posted maliciously by her little sister's ex-bf. If so, then her little sister learned a lesson about the internet and nude photos. If not, then the big sister just got a rude shock as to what her little sister is int…

Start by checking the laws in your country for the difference between marriage and de facto relationships.

Ugh the title is so confusing. "Markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent" refers to trying to play the market with a small amount of capital. "Bubbles" are due to positive feedback loops within markets. So, is he saying that the idea of misandry is a positive feedback loop? Misandry has generated a lot of resentment among men. That's negative feedback, so it'll stabilize, not grow quickly then go out of fashion. We will always have the amount of misandry (and misogyny) th…
