Nothing a women ever does is "a gesture of profound love", it's just her trying to keep the dude around because of his high smv characteristics When you base all behaviors on this, yeah. My girlfriend makes a pamphlet for me. She took pictures of us and all the times we went traveling together, and she wrote a whole story and decorated it with drawings and art and stuff. It must have taken her hours to do. If that's not a gesture of profound love, I don't know what is. I guess love doesn't exist…

If I'm treating her well and she treats me well and I find out she's cheating, I'd probably assume she's not taking the relationship seriously and proceed to spend my energy in other relationship(s) - assuming a serious relationship is what I want. If she's the kind of girl that makes art for me while I was treat her like shit, then I would blame myself partially. If you treat your girlfriend like crap and she cheats on you and you still blame her, that's kind of fucked up

Yeah, because why give a shit about the girl your seeing ? Just use her for sex. Lol. Some people have some really twisted priorities in life. Girlfriend has low self esteem ? Not my problem

No, I don't think that at all. I think girls have biological impulses to be sexually attracted to more dominanty males. They still have the choice to act on it. I'm not the most alpha and I never will be. When you mature and grow out of this beginning stages of the RP mentality, you will meet girls that will reflect that maturity back at you. To someone who has no values except for self-gain, your paradigm makes sense. But once you start to see that there are girls who value integrity just as th…

Yeah, because Instagram models never have low self-esteem... And yes actually, it might. If she values your relationship, she won't go looking around for validation. If you treat her like shit, she's going to look for every opportunity to feel like she's actually worth something. Relationships aren't about getting as much as you can, they're about building something beautiful with someone else.

When you're lonely and you don't feel like you're worth anything, you keep going back. That's why people in abusive relationships stay. Because they're told it's all they deserve, and convinced it's true. It's one thing to use TRP as a way to understand deep-rooted biological impulses and how they manifest themselves in our behavior and psychology. It's another thing to take advantage of someone with low self-esteem. Seems like that's all I'm reading on TRP nowadays. Just people attracting these…

Yeah God forbid she's just a human being who wants to feel appreciated and that she's worth something.

Maybe if you made her feel somewhat worthy she would not have looked elsewhere for validation

Because OP is an asshole and makes her feel like her self-worth is so low she needs to feel validated from other people and feel like she's wanted

Yeah I'm definitely on board with that, it's really great to be comfortable being your full self without excuses. I guess the main issue I have with red pill is just how much emphasis there is on suppressing emotions in order to be manly. Our emotions make life beautiful and allow us to connect with each other

VI. You realize all of this red pill stuff is a way to cover up for insecurities and deep-seated fears and it never really worked at all. Maybe you've attracted some females into your life, but after realizing how deeply dissatisfied you are with shallow relationships, you decide to try trusting the world again and stop being so cynical and obsessive over your alpha status. You embrace your inner masculinity and femininity and understand they can co-exist within you making you a complete human b…

Loneliness would be a big one. Because you train yourself to dissociate from your emotions and then you can't feel anything anymore. You can't feel love or any other emotions that make life worth living because you train your mind to run away from it. In my opinion, a lot of the redpill philosophies are cowardly. Teaching you to shut down your emotions instead of inviting them and working with them. People are too afraid to express their emotions because it's not "manly" and they are afraid othe…

I like the idea of building something with someone. Building a home, exploring together, just having a partner in life. It could be a guy, but I'm not sexually attracted to guys and I like how males/females complement each other's energy

Everyone projects. Nobody can embody these RP mentalities and not stress. The whole idea of RP is if you get complacent then you lose. That in itself is stressful. Let alone having to constantly be aware of shit tests and other things, I'm more concerned about you not acknowledging the stress you're causing yourself rather than me projecting

On a different username I was hard in to TRP for 2 years. I could defend the shit out of TRP if I wanted to, but there's a point where you just realize it's not worth living your life constantly stressing about shit like that. It's such a depressing and bleak view of life, and it's not any more "real" than any other perspective- for example maybe some people (man and/or woman) truly love each other and want each other to be happy, and don't want to manipulate each other in fear of losing each ot…

I don't get it ? What's the point of all that. You just made her anxious and then you got to have sex. You could have just gone home and had sex with her anyway. You don't need to make her jealous. Seems like you're just fucking with her head for no reason. Why even date a girl if you're going to be more honest relationship with a reddit group? The whole point of relationships is trust and honesty. If you're not into that, don't date !!! You're just making life messy for the both of you. Stick t…

It's amazing how people can't have a healthy relationship with their emotions. Emotions are the only thing that make life worth living. Learn to work with them not bottle them up and prevent your own body from expressing itself. Who do you think you are you can tell your body what to feel and what not to ? You're keeping yourself in a prison

Yeah and I think that's valid. But I think there's a balance too. Like, how much short-term sacrifice is best for long-term ? And what point will you decide that the life you live right now is important too just like your future ? If you're happy right now with that life you're living, then that's perfect...! Keep on truckin. I just want to bring awareness to the idea that a lot of the TRP perspective brings about anguish and misery deep inside. The world becomes heavy. And there's nothing sayin…

What you say is insightful. I wonder if the action of living to high morals is in itself rewarding ? I find the action of being good (without sacrificing your happiness), is rewarding in itself and doesn't need to be reciprocated.

Hmm. What if you were in a position of power and had a reputation of being an asshole and someone chose to trust you anyway? Wouldn't that be similar? Wouldn't you feel like giving that trust back to them?

That's great! I'm happy for you. Really. It shifted your mentality from outward to inward, and I think that's awesome, and I think more people need to be like that. You're in control of your life!! But are you happy? Or are you still seeking happiness?

I've done both. I used to get up at 4:30 and run up the local mountain in my late teens. I had a routine of doing that, then going to school, and going to bed around 8 or so... Felt amazing during that time, but I'm not sure if it was because of the routine or because I felt motivated to be better. In any case, I don't plan on waking up that early nowadays haha that's for sure. I think the key to making it good is going to bed early, otherwise you're just losing sleep
