| -4 | Why are men always singled out in porn discussions? Women literally contribute as much to the numbers, and women are more likely on average to watch violent categories of porn, but somehow men are the only ones capable of being degenerates? Is this a real question? You know that the sex industry has existed longer than modern media, right? That historical precedent has seen men in positions of power within this industry over women for multiple centuries, and the infrastructure of said industry has almost nothing to do with whatever the modern demographic division is between genders. Also, where are 'men always singled out in porn discussions'? How often are you having these kind of discussions, and who are you having them with? | /r/MensRights | 19/09/23 03:26 PM |

| -18 | Ellen Pao-"We know we do have a problem of group harassment as well, but we're trying to address one problem at a time and we will get to group harassment next." Are we harassing feminists?pffft. I'm sorry to break the echo chamber, but do you actually believe this? Are you as an adult male sitting at your computer somewhere in the world believing that there is a feminist agenda on reddit to censor men's rights activism? I think that might literally be the funniest thing I've read all day. | /r/MensRights | 20/05/15 07:23 PM |
| 2 | No means no, Feminists.Just to ask for clarification here; isn't it possible, re: patriarchy theory, that a societal imbalance of power has existed between men and women that isn't completely binary? I think (and I fully admit ignorance on this for the most part, as I haven't read a lot of feminist theory/literature) that the idea of a 'patriarchy' is that it favours men for positions of power/authority, and subjugates women as a result. That doesn't mean that men have nothing but advantages and women have nothing but… | /r/MensRights | 26/07/14 05:56 AM |

| -10 | I was a boy that was "taught not to rape" by his mother, let me tell you exactly why and how that has harmed me throughout my life.tl;dr: bad parenting is bad. this doesn't really say anything about men's rights or rape or feminism—a parent who told you not to be evil to avoid going to hell might well have had similar negative consequences. | /r/MensRights | 12/03/14 12:32 AM |
| 2 | Longtime hacker Susan Sons tired of feminist meddling in tech circles, 'Do not punish the men simply for being here. "Male privilege" is a way to say "you are guilty because you don't have boobs, feelI think there are some interesting points broached in this article, but part of an issue it touches on and doesn't seem to approach in the right way is the notion of hobbyist preference and direction at an early age. It's not a stretch of the imagination to say that girls are still funneled towards more domestic hobbies and pursuits during their youth, which precludes any developing interest in 'hacking' or other traditionally male avenues that might result in them fitting in once they're older.… | /r/MensRights | 06/02/14 06:15 PM |
