Sounds like you were thinking about #Transmaxing to me ;)

Well, men who have jobs usually don't have time to pursue, and being exclusive isn't all there is to keeping. You seem to be reasonably well-adjusted and not to select nothing but Chads, so you're already far above most ;)

I don't actually think my love life experience is very common. A girl having no trouble finding a man? WHAT ARE THE ODDS!? ;) And only girls care about height. We care about weight, and that's within everyone's control.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 11:34 AM

why would anyone want just average when they can get much better? Because they won't _keep_ better.

Because buying is simpler. Wanting beautiful partners makes sense genetically.

The thing is, you can see poor social status as a problem, but you can also see it as a symptom... so a red flag. The worse cat I ever met is a rescue kitten :( Regarding the second one, I'm curious how such craziness went under your radar. Live and learn... hopefully!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 01:22 PM

I doubt you guys didn't have money problems, since they already plague couples with comparable statuses (not to be confused with popularity). Perhaps rescuing men like kittens warps your relationships, I don't know. Anyway, given the prevalence of homelessness in men, it looks like your hospitality isn't shared, and it's a shame :(

If you don't know what "dichotomy" or "inane" means, then refrain from pretending you know what people mean when they use such words, lest they understand what you are. On a side note, repeating an inane comment doesn't make it any less inane.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/21 09:10 AM

Good thing I'm not thinking about it like a USian, then. Also, culture notwithstanding, you don't know what they think about it, except for the fact the _accomplices_ knew the slap was coming and didn't even try to escape it, presumably because they knew thay did wrong. You offer no alternative explanation supported by fact.

It must be fun living in your fantasy land. And that's "banded". #Mansplaining... yes, adding "man" in front of anything gives it bad connotations, nowadays, but it's not like misandry is rampant, of course.

They're not weak, they mainly have the "Women are wonderful" effect (and corresponding "men are nefarious") playing against them, as you could've surmised from my response, if you'd thought about it for a nanosecond.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/21 08:12 AM

Well, you seemed to say it gave the number of instances of cheating, hence what I said about your double negative, which I took to be a result of confusion. The problem with the lack of this information is that it flattens the view of the distribution by removing a whole dimension, and the problem compounds with the fact it's a self-report. I can't believe no one had the idea to breakdown by sex who had a divorce for cheating ruled against them, but I couldn't find anything in that direction. I …

Not everybody is going to manipulate people they consider mate "material" until they fit notions taught on the very same forum which taught them how to manipulate their prey. By "venison", I meant gamy meat, AKA near-rancid meat, implying no one will try to manipulate rancid meat to make it edible, except if it's venison, while "material" is ripe for manipulation. Staying away from manipulative people is easier said than done, ask any battered wife, and encouraging people to be manipulative does…
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen10/05/21 12:13 PM

No it doesn't not give the number of instances. Just the proportion who have in the past. Are you sure about that double negative? Because as far as I could see, the survey's question is of a boolean (yes/no) type, therefore, it can't give the number of instances into account. Of course, you're free to think cheating a hundred times with ten people is the same thing as cheating once. One could argue that a more informal survey could incite subjects to answer more freely, as you can see more men …

The problem with bisexuals is that unless you're making SJW-level mental gymnastics, they're not really couples... adding anyone to a couple's dynamic is sure to bring more chaos along. Also, the lesbian sample is bound to be biased against men.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/21 09:40 AM
1

It's different vocabulary, and FDS clearly advocates manipulation, and their overwhelming use of dehumanizing vocabulary reflects it, while no one wants to manipulate rancid meat, but leave it alone (or prepare it like venison, perhaps, lol).
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen10/05/21 08:53 AM

Or, perhaps, you didn't even try. https://wentworthreport.com/2017/01/08/rate-of-domestic-violence-highest-in-lesbian-relationships/ Lesbian couples are more violent than heterosexual couples which are more violent than gay couples, deal with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/21 08:50 AM

That's still self-reporting, conflicting with the study I gave, and it does not take the number of instances of cheating into account either.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/21 08:48 AM

First, you haven't given the numbers for men, while the comparison of both is the crux of the issue, Mr Science. Second, I put as much trust in self-reported numbers of cheating as in self-reported body counts, and I expressed that sentiment earlier. https://www.marriage.com/advice/infidelity/infidelity-statistics/ puts cheating at 50% for women and 55% for men, which shows how reliable self-reports are. I'd be convinced by percentages of divorces for adultery breakdown by sex, which would at le…

I still find the use of "material" dehumanizing, "rancid meat" was at least alive, at some point, while "material" implies complete ownership and agency... and don't try to argue the use of "husband material" isn't widespread on FDS, there's a reason they have an acronym for it :P

So you weren't " talking as if I’m inquiring about where you draw the line with violence" when you said " a doctor can’t completely restore your mobility or bring you back to life if you’re battered too hard ", implying the women lost their mobility or needed resuscitating. Yes, and even more so given that as far as we know, they initiated the psychological violence.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/21 12:06 PM
1

You weren't even aware of my existence when you talked about mobility and resucitation. For my part, physical violence starts with pain, but I think anything not drawing blood (nor internal bleeding), nor creating permanent injury shouldn't count as assault (unless repeated). Psychological violence starts with anything hindering self-esteem and social functioning on the long term. Yes, that's vague as fuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/21 11:56 AM
1

Not nearly as much if you convince her not to cheat, as I hypothesised earlier. Intelligent friends would generally discourage a rash action, but if the woman spends her time complaining about her husband, as it happens, her friends will tend to conclude he's no good, and reinforce this belief in her. The magic of #Validation.
