Same thing happened to me too. The ring went on the finger Dec 2012 and that chick who I loved, and loved to be around while dating, just disappeared. I'm just sad realizing I'm living with a chich who has no respect for her husband no matter how hard I try and make her happy. I'll start divorce proceedings before the summer though. Discovered TRP Dec 2014... Way too late.

Wow!! This post is incredible. I was beta when I got married in 2013, started reading TRP December 2014 due to a miserable existence. "Not only is the reward lower, but the effort necessary is higher. So you're playing on a higher difficulty for a lower prize." This line PERFECTLY sums up my experience with marriage. You think you're getting a partner where you can open up, but once you open up and become vulnerable, she loses respect, and attraction. Your game has to be on ALL THE TIME at 110%.

I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with this show. I love watching the train wreck both men experience with their wife/crush. Then CRINGE thinking I'm a newlywed that is heading down that path. Been married 1.5 years and the sex fell off the planet. Gave my wife everything she wanted from engagement until now.
