I love keswick, go there at least once a year. Takes me 5-6 hours by car. But I make sure to spend a few hours at surprise view with a drink and a cigar. I normally stay at the independent derwent water hostel (rented by rooms) . Then take kayak to the lake. Fantastic

I’m surprised at how different it must be for every individual. Yes, I made a lot of progress. I gone from a bench player to a solid starter in 2 years. I can run a game and be ready for the next game in 3 days. It definitely works for me.

I mainly do cardio and small weights. I’m not going for big muscles . Just need to have something in the tank to sink those freethrows after running up and down for 30+ minutes. Cycle 45 min intervals then do 2000 meter row followed by some ab crunches and extended calf training or work on my arms. I never overdo it. I don’t know if it’s just my body or the training I do, I recover pretty quick. Already feeling fine 12 hours past that 3 training sessions in 24h.

I guess it depends what you are training for. I’m bettering myself for upcoming basketball season in october. So gym 6 times a week and 2 team training sessions a week. Went gym yesterday, then 2 hours basketball training in the evening and back to gym this morning. Feel dead , but going back for cardio tomorrow.

Calorie deficit . Exercise only burns calories. It’s what u put inside your body that matters. I lost 20 lb since Feb 1st. I still look about the same. But my muscle has grown. I’m faster and I can be more active for longer than I was before. I come from a difference maker to a first selection on my rugby team. Just keep grinding and eating less than you burn.

Don’t know man. My dad threatened to stab my mums eyes out with a knife (had knife to her her eyes) while she was pregnant with me. He got served next day. Was single mum running a business till I was about 16 when she found her current partner. I moved out when I was 17 to travel and earn my own living. I got nothing but respect for my “stepdad” . Now 23 years latter they are still happily living together. I don’t think it applies to 100% of single mums. I salute her for not waiting to get her …
