When I just joined martial arts class, I was really bad, but when put with much shorter guy with 10 years of experience (not all those years in sparing, or fighting against opponent), I could win against him mostly by my height alone. Short guys have even larger limit, but to women that are shorter than you it's not a big deal. Just target women below, or at worst at your height, and you won't feel disadvantage.
