My wife has gone insane. If you still love her you could try to help her and see if she can be treated or brought to reason by doctors and or therapy. If you don’t love her you should probably get divorced and rebuild a life for yourself. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/08/25 06:50 AM
I'm out and about, expanding my sphere of influence, and the ladies I've been meeting... tattoos everywhere, filler, botox, injections, face lifts, augmentations, overweight, etc. What's happened to America? Where can you meet unmodified ladies these days?+1 for Europę. Go east to Poland or even more east. If you have a decent money by socal standards consider dating younger too - ladies there have less age gap stigma and you could find someone really special that meets all your criteria and more. Have you seen the memes - a 6 in Poland is a 11 in USA lol. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/07/25 07:41 AM
We are both miserable after long term married ,but if I file first spouse will loose it and make process miserableI talked to her about how we would both be happier if we got divorced. When she realized I was serious she started asking me not to do it but she was just scared of the change. I moved out anyway. She immediately panicked and filed before I could which in a way helped move things along. It was tough but we got through it and I think it’s all for the best. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/03/25 04:13 PM
Did you cheat on your wife leading to divorce?Yes - over the years here and there and then near the end I got into another relationship so I left my wife finally - it was for the best for everyone. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/01/25 02:37 AM
Admitting you got divorced because of a dead bedroomJust say it wasnt working - it's probably more than just the sex anyway - that's just the final straw. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/11/24 11:57 PM
Midlife crisis divorced men in here?...Please help me understandSome relationships are not meant to be or to last forever. It’s sad but true. I left my wife of 27 years and we have an amazing daughter who is 8. Despite an ok marriage neither my wife or me were truly fully happy. I also felt like she didn’t do enough for me - she took me for granted. She knew I wanted more sex and more kinky stuff but she just didn’t want it or accept that it was important for me. I didn’t want to argue with her I just knew she wasn’t into it and I decided we would both be ha… | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/09/24 04:57 PM
When do you know it’s time? Are you happier now?My ex talked about divorcing me for years. I finally left her about 6 months ago and she cried and said she never meant it she just was saying that to make a point. I told her words matter and as she had been talking about it for years I finally realized we should just break up. It was/is hard but I know it's the right thing for me. I am happier now! (It helps that I have a hot younger girlfriend now too to lick my wounds so to speak lol) | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/09/24 04:14 PM
I’ll die aloneWe all die alone. I almost died a few years ago and I know this now. That said heartbreak is real. But you will heal. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/08/24 05:11 PM
Is your new girlfriend way better than your ex wife?lol the Reddit app did it accidentally but I like your theory | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/08/24 11:22 PM
Is your new girlfriend way better than your ex wife?Yes! So different. Maybe that’s what I like about her but I chose someone that surprises and pushes me to try new things and think differently. I love it | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/08/24 04:26 PM

How do you keep yourself busy and stay positive?Hi. Please don’t be offended as I’m earnestly trying to understand your comment. I’m not a Christian so I don’t understand the issue of a non Christian eating the bread. Is it that God would be upset or that other Christian’s would be insulted that someone isn’t doing the ritual correctly? | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/07/24 10:21 AM
Leaving my wife.I left my wife as well - she just wasn’t making me happy and I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life with her. It was tough but worth it | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/07/24 11:01 AM
Recently divorced - Can I still live a fulfilling life staying single forever and dating multiple women?Naaa it’s fun and no pressure to try to establish relationship or woo the girl. It’s easy fast and fun. Why not? | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/06/24 11:21 PM
Divorce is Great, It’s Time! DIG IT!Yes! Society doesn’t really give men the right to choose divorce. Like 90% of divorces are done by women. Men are supposed to try to please the woman and grin and bear it. Well fuck that. We are a liberal world now and men should be able to leave and start over if they are not happy with their wives. Women have the rights and responsibility to take care of themselves. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/05/24 01:58 PM
Tomorrow is one week since I left... And I feel more guilty than everYeah I left my wife a couple months ago. Guilt comes and goes but always still there. It’s worse when we talk - we are figuring out the divorce agreement. We were together most of my life - I’m 48 - so I imagine it will take a long long time. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/05/24 12:27 AM
Higher earner afraid of losing big in divorceYeah this is my worry for sure. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/12/23 03:43 PM
Higher earner afraid of losing big in divorceIf you want the real honest sad truth probably I would stay. I have a daughter and a really nice home and situation. The sadder truth is I would cheat sometimes but just for fun/sex/release and i didn’t plan on leaving. Until I met someone really special and now I’m considering actually leaving. Even if I don’t end up with this new girl - maybe it’s for the best so I could live honestly again and not be a cheater. But even considering that it’s a lot to give up. | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/12/23 09:04 PM
Higher earner afraid of losing big in divorceI don’t know. I haven’t met an attorney yet so not sure exactly how it might work out. As for leaving - well I’m not happy that’s for sure. I was thinking just to stay but tbh I met someone else and realized how much happier I could be with real love in my life. But still it’s hard to do it. I also have a daughter so not sure how it will impact her life and if it’s worth it. I’m not going to rush things I need lots of time to think. | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/12/23 08:22 PM
Higher earner afraid of losing big in divorceI’m in CA and have a very large income. She hasn’t worked much in 20 years. I’m thinking about pulling the trigger one day but yeah it’s huge cost - I calculate I could owe her $10M or more in alimony over the next 20 years if she doesn’t remarry. Scary. Is it worth it? | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/12/23 08:10 PM
Alimony and child support CaliforniaWhat is the calculation? I’m super curious how they math it out | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/12/23 07:05 PM
Anybody glad they divorced even though it meant not retiring and 5-10 years of alimony that took up most of your take home pay?I feel you. Same age and I’ve been married a long time to someone I should never have married. My daughter is only 7 though so it makes it harder. But like others wrote for we deserve to be happy? | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/11/23 02:14 AM
Calculating Alimony in CAOk thanks | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/10/23 01:18 AM
