I miss running so much. A knee injury will probably mean I won’t be able to run distances like I used to, but there was nothing more therapeutic than putting in a pair of headphones, pressing play, and setting off on a run with no distance target in mind or route planned. I enjoy lifting weights, but it’ll never “do it for me” like running outside does.

I wish this sub would implement a requirement to put the country in the post’s title (e.g., [UK]) so we wouldn’t have so many comments talking about American standards of manslaughter vs. murder.

Based on the light switch beside her in the picture I’d say she isn’t tall.

This might be a really dumb question, but it sounds like you might know the answer: if the father gets full custody (either right off the bat, or by suing for it later) does he still have to pay the mother some amount of child support (separate from possible alimony)? I would think not, because they don’t have custody of the child, but I also know the odds are stacked against men in custody/divorce cases.

Weren't school officials and the FBI alerted multiple times about the Parkland shooter prior to the event with little to know intervention?

Look at Emmanuel Macron. Dude was in high school when he was banging his married teacher, who left her husband to be with her student. Shortly after his election NBC news literally called it a “Cinderella-like romance story for the ages.”

You know Gillette (and P&G) are American companies right? So overnight in the US would be when its primary target market would be viewing and reacting to this.

Lol no but I understand the plight. For me it’s just a matter of dark hair and fair skin. The hair on my head and face grows like a weed, but in my 30s I have the same amount of body hair as I did at 15.

Everybody should treat others with respect. Not just men. And that’s the thing they can’t seem to understand. Just because I’m pro-men’s right’s doesn’t mean I’m anti-women’s rights. They’re basically making the same ultimatum Bush gave in 2001: you’re either with us or your with the terrorists (in this case, the men).

I can’t begin to explain how jealous I am of that. If I shave all the way to the skin by noon you can’t even tell I shaved. I’ve accepted my fate and just use an electric razor to stay at stubble length all the time.

but many women complain buying gifts for men is difficult. The best birthday present a GF ever got me was when she said “I don’t know shit about cars, so instead of screwing something up I’ll just pay $100 towards the next parts you buy.” The honesty of her comment blew me away more than the generosity.

That train wreck was actually an in-house ad for Pepsi. I almost wish I was still in college when that one happened, would’ve been a hilarious case study in my marketing capstone.

I’ve heard her talk. She’s from the Eastern Bloc so I’m not sure the translation but it sounded like ”gghagg gagh gaggh ghaaagh gaghg ggahg gaggh.”

This. When I was undergoing an industry change a few years ago I had a lot of friends and family suggest I go back for a teaching license. If it weren’t for shit like this I actually would really enjoy teaching, but no way I’d do it in this state of lunacy and tumult.

Seems like a pretty common tactic. Want to ruin someone? Plant CP on their computer. Want to discredit someone and squander any future investigation? Make it seem like they were into really weird, really kinky stuff.

It’s very rare for men to go through sexual assault, that’s just a fact. Actually, ma’am, what is a fact is this: you don’t know the difference between the words “fact” and “opinion.”

she even says in this interview it has always been illegal to objectify women. I’d love to see the litigation where this is stated.

...people who are quote-unquote "socially conscious..." You don't write "quote-unquote" while then proceeding to put said quoted item in quotes. This is redundant. In fact, you never write "quote-unquote." You simply put the quote in, go figure, quotes. Mind. Blown. Writing it twice just comes across as condescending. Oh wait--maybe that was their point? (/s) I really did try reading it, but I didn't get very far. I simply cannot take anyone seriously when they have such a tenuous grasp on prope…
