I'm in a similar situation, but I'm separated. Started dating a girl recently and it's really helped my confidence, but she's falling for me. I want to break it off and be friends, but not sure how to go about it. We have no issues I can cite and we get along so well.

She blew up your life! Remember that. Focus on you the best you can! You deserve good things, king!

I don't recommend drinking any alcohol during this shit time. It can only make things worse. Take care of yourself and put you and your kids first. I'm going thru shit, like you

Well thankfully it'll be mostly her money! Price you pay for being a manipulating, lying, cheater!

She's been claiming that she's been afraid of me since finding out about the recent affair. I've been nothing but supportive and encouraging. There's no proof of DV. I yelled at her when I found out and she says that was abusive.

Thank you for all of this! I'm slowly gaining confidence and am looking to a brighter future without the cheater!

I cut it off because the other guy had no clue she was married. He cut her off and she was not happy.

I feel that, too. She fucked up. I need to get more proof of the affair since I may get to use it in my at- fault state.

Can this be done thru mediation, or will my lawyer have to fight for this?

Thank you for the sound advice. I'm in a no fault state, so I'm hopeful it'll go quickly. We have to be separated for a year before we can file.

I already tried to fight. This was her second affair in 10 years. She's refusing to seek treatment. She's threatened suicide a couple weeks ago. She's erratic and unstable.

I should say that she's the breadwinner and I make less than teacher money. I'm in no position right now to find a place. I'm hopeful she will.

I'm in the beginning stages. Haven't signed anything yet, but we have a date (end of May). It's the date I kicked her out of the bedroom. She has no family and she's the breadwinner. I make less than teacher money, so I feel you!

Did your lawyer say he could get one required some how?

I've asked her and she doesn't want to comply. Is there anything I can do to get one done?

Virginia, I'll look into the form you mentioned to see if applicable

We don't want to file right now, just have a document in place where we agree of the separation date, and if they can back date?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
