Also if that intended character is something that people arround you would consider out of your league, but inside you know that you should be able to make it happen. But im sure that if you could chose to have equal distribution in such places without changing productivity you would welcome it. But ofcourse skewing requirements is not the way to do it and in my opinion it will not solve anything anyway. Root problem is that our brains are wired differently which makes us interested in categorically different things. Im not sure about other STEM fields but from my experience there is already plethora of support programs for women in IT. Ofc as a man, for simmilar service you have to pay. I was doing pub quizes in the past and they might be good for people that want to pursue this path but are not yet reay for the actual thing. In PQ you have a lot of material prepared beforehand so the pressure is not that strong on you and inbetween the quetions you can say pretty much whatever you want. So for me this is the field I want to get totally comfortable first, afterwards it can be good to proceed to what OP is doing.
