It's just age-old misogyny repackaged into a shiny new ideology. These beliefs have always been around.

Hahaha perfectly said. Even when women come on here and tell them that the things they believe about women are not exclusively "female nature" and just human behaviours (in attempts to help them), they refuse to believe it because it doesn't align with their safe and predictable worldview or "strategy". They refuse to accept that life is complex, dating is complex, people are complex, you can't treat women as a monolith and expect result. They just end up attracting the exact type of women they …

Their paranoia over dating is making them believe that all women are a monolith and want the same type of guy.

Most people are average-looking. Average people date other average people. OP is trying to tell them that personality is the deciding factor, but they won't listen lol.

Goodlooking people just have it easier in life. What's the point of getting upset about it?

This is exactly what the OP is talking about. You don't think women care about personality because you don't care about women's personality. It's called projection.

Exactly. It's not male or female nature...a lot of it is just human nature that you see in both men and women.

Just because their personalities are insanely different doesn't mean that they don't find each other's personality attractive...? You don't have to have the same personality as your partner for it to be attractive. If you actually observe the world around you, you would notice that people use a great personality/compatibility to make up for average looks all the time.

Thank you. When someone says personality doesn't matter, it just shows that (a) they are shallow, (b) they have no personality, or (c) their personality is horrible. Very telling. #1 is so true. There is no such thing as a male or female personality. That's beyond stupid.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
