Fumbled a bit with the "when the when the," but there's nothing like correcting someone!

I don't think this is one of the "more strongly enforced stereotypes" that I mentioned. Can you tell me how it relates directly to my post?

The "men always want sex" myth and the "women who want sex are sluts" myth are heavily, heavily cultured, I can't think of any more strongly enforced stereotypes off hand. It'll be difficult to turn that around.

As a white, non-upper class, non-lower class, male with no disabilites, I've come to learn that my opinion does not hold as much weight as any member of society with different circumstances.

That really is the way to an equilibrium, but, as I said, there are far too many that are proud of their own, embracing their own differences and rejecting the differences of others. We're all different in the same way, but the most followed ideologies are the masculinist/feminist drives that want us all to be the same in different ways. It's like expecting an apple and a banana to taste the same instead of to tase their own good.

What don't you like in a man?

Not all men are identical. That's true, but there are qualities that many or most men have(compulsion to lead/provide, desire to strengthen/better themselves, compulsion to protect, etc.). Is there some quality you've found in several men that you dislike?

Your homosexuality makes me want to ask a question. First, let me explain why. I find things that women do, think, or are that I don't like. Often, these disliked traits are disliked by many other men, and found in many women. However, there are redeeming personality traits that women have that overcome these dislikes, and, after realizing perfection is not a reasonable goal, are accepted in spite of whatever dislikes were had. I'm not implying that you hate/find nothing good about women. Becaus…

I understand the desire to be treated equally, but men and women are inherently different, and there's no changing that. We all have too much pride in our own genders for sexism to not exist. As long as we embrace our differences instead of looking past them, we're never going to move past any sort of discrimination, gender-based included. Should we ignore those differences? I don't think that we could even if we tried. It might be great for everyone to be treated equally, but men are good for s…

You quoted me when I said that the wage gap doesn't merit the extremities in feminist ideology. Just because I didn't go into why it doesn't, doesn't mean you need to show me. You've also avoided the main theme of my post.

So, you're saying that a person with a degree in Womens' studies is less likely to be able to find a decent-paying/secure job than a person with a degree in an applicable science. That's believable. Because of all their Womens' studies knowledge, this person will relate their experience to that of the women they've studied, as it is in harmony with a pattern of difficulties endured by women in the past. They are at a disadvantage. But, instead of citing the narrow scope of their degree as the ro…

sb404 got it right, and besides, it's just as easy to fabricate something about men as it is to fabricate something about anything else. She and her husband played a joke and they did it right. I really don't see what issue you're taking with this.

We're all inherently programmed to go after the highest quality partners. It's what people believe makes one higher-quality that is the problem.

Why then would she marry him? To take his money like she did? I don't see how having a child that you now have to take care of and moving to china to do it makes sense in an "I want money plan." That's the first thing that comes to my mind. How do you think marrying him and/or divorcing and framing him fits into a plan? What plan is that?

I thought it was the show that proved that for every half-hour of the week there's a woman ready and willing to kill her husband for his money.

I'm all for men's rights, but this is not a men's rights issue, this is taking a legitimate problem and tacking the men's rights name on it, it takes credibility away from the anti-feminist cause, which is really what this is. There wouldn't be a men's rights struggle if feminists didn't shove men into a bad light all the time. Now for the problem. Assaulting the way people think doesn't solve a problem, you have to assault the cause of that thought. Unfortunately everyone wants a Disney-movie s…

This article makes many good points. It scares me to know that I, or any man I know, could be the victim of a witch hunt brought on by some bitch that got crossed. Feminism as it is today seems to me like an effort to scare and manipulate others (mostly men) into giving any girl anything she wants. I like to call it womanism because it only ever has to deal with what one woman wants at a time. Feminism should be something that promotes the greater qualities of females: nurturing, motherhood, kin…
