2	Watching Your Humor Really interesting discussion here. As everyone already mentioned, I think the point isn't to "try" to be funny. It just is or it isn't. Granted, you can be silly or goofy with a girl, but if you are doing it to seek validation from the girl (ex. 'If I make her laugh she'll sleep with me') then you are going about it the wrong way. 1	Watching Your Humor I like that name because that's exactly what it feels like to be caught in that cycle. Over the years I've witnessed other people doing it and once I saw how silly it is I sort of grew out of it. 1	How should you react when a girl flirts directly with you? - "You look like you work out a lot" If you're worried about showing off just smile and say thank you, then continue with your normal means of admission if you're interested in the girl.
