I'm really conflicted on this. On the one hand, r/justiceporn is terrible and I can't exactly fault them for doing something to try to improve it for once. On the other hand, it figures that they would only step in when there's "victim blaming" going on, and not when there are threads cheering about people being murdered "getting what was coming to them." Go to any other justiceporn post and say that the person was "asking for it" and see if you hear a peep about victim blaming.

Here's one reason: It puts them on the defensive. Instead of letting them just move on and drop the issue, it let's us stretch things out as long as possible as we watch the person and others who support them squirm to justify themselves.

not really. All he ever really said was that the risks of vaccination need to be investigated, and that, because of that, some vaccines aren't worth getting, like young, healthy people getting flu vaccines. He was just buying into the anti-vaccine scare, but I think he even admitted he was wrong eventually. It's blowing it out of proportions to call him a nutjob just for that.

Less important than what it actually is is how it's used in Feminist circles. Do you really think this is the best way, or even a good way, to spread this information?
