I always one up x10. If she says, "I thought you were taller," I'll say "I'm tall enough to right cross you into the next room" (with a ridiculous grin). If she follows up with, "that's offensive," I follow with something like, "no Hitler holocausting Jews was offensive, my comment was just the truth." If she persists I just end the conversation. So far EVERY job I've had has had a female boss (and I work in IT). They create hollow jobs to shove women into to not get sued. The employment market is getting saturated and it has made my life a literal hell. I need to branch out on my own. Everything that has been said here about female bosses is true. I've found that about 15% of female bosses are decent--including my sister--but my definition of "decent" is "not a total psycho idiot demon." None of them have been GOOD at their jobs.
