If you fake it and get caught, you're going to make it harder to have credibility when you eventually get your shit straightened out.

Good article. plutonic environment I think you mean "platonic", and you're using it to mean non-sexual; I would disagree, it isn't (or shouldn't be) completely non-physical and non-sexual, but it's an environment where those desires and urges are controlled and channeled predictably and productively.

Dude. You drove your car into a tree. Now you're trying to argue/reason/fight with the tree about the damage done to your car. It does not help to buy presents for the tree, or explain yourself to the tree, or ask the tree to be softer or in a different place. JUST. FUCKING. STOP. She doesn't love you. She will never love you. She will never even fuck you.

It's as if they're conditioned to take shortcuts or avoid any hard work that would make them feel better about themselves and improve their health that they'd choose some product or "quick-fix" around what is necessary and practical. Some people - men and women - are like this. If you don't like it, find someone different, it's approximately impossible to force someone like this to think differently.

This would make sense if the woman in question said she was conceptually open to sex, but didn't experience physical arousal. A person who describes themselves as asexual is trying nicely to tell the person they're talking to that there's no chance in hell that those people will ever be doing it, that's all.

I'm cool with that, generally speaking, but it's usually in person, $1 at a time under their boobs or in their thong. Or $20 for a table dance, if she's really friendly/hot.

California has an old court case (Marvin v. Marvin, "palimony") that raises the bare possibility of "alimony" where there was a promise of lifetime support between unmarried partners, but essentially there's no spousal support for a non-spouse. If a non-citizen woman gave birth to a child inside the US, the child would be born a US citizen, and the woman would likely eventually get citizenship through her relationship to the child. If you marry in another country but live together as a married c…

"Asexual" is bullshit. She just doesn't find you attractive. Move on to the next one. It doesn't matter how hot you think she is if she doesn't reciprocate those feelings. Nobody worth a shit is going to love you just because you're really nice to them - and even if she tries to for a little while, she'll disappear (having emptied your heart and your wallet) when she finds a man who does make her feel sexual. Unless you're 12 years old, if you are not having sex, it is not a "relationship". Stop…

Is it the fact that they all think this girl will bang them all if they defend her? Yes. It doesn't work, but they don't know that yet.

This is a very bad idea. Write about whatever the professor likes, and make sure your conclusion agrees with the professor's views. School is a very simple game. If you give them the paper they want, they will give you the paper that you want. Expecting a class or a school to deliver learning and enlightenment on a platter because you approach it with an open mind and a good attitude is like expecting a woman to love you the way you want to be loved because you buy her flowers and follow her aro…

One of the turning points in my life was when I figured out that discipline doesn't have to be something oppressive imposed on me from outside - it can be my agenda, based on my priorities, that I impose on the world. It's not "you must do these things on this schedule", it's "I will do these things at these times, and the rest of you fuckers get out of my way!"

It is a lot easier to get divorced if you don't have kids. She sounds like a manipulative bitch. If the pregnancy thing turns out to be bullshit, you should walk and find someone who's not psycho. Lying about pregnancy is completely unacceptable. Would she think it was funny if you told her you got some other woman pregnant "just to see what she would say?" Would she think it was funny if next time she mentions pregnancy, you tell her you had a disease as a child and you're 100% unavoidably ster…

Who cares? If we're not one of these "promoters" or a rich Arab, what does this have to do with the rest of us?

You should care about your mother more than you care about your ex. Your mother raised you and would probably die for you if she needed to. Your ex will take everything you've got and everything you'll ever earn if she gets a chance and probably will laugh while she does it. You need to stop fucking around and get a lawyer to see if you can get custody (or at least temporary visitation) of your balls back from your ex. You can find another wife. Or don't. Your old one is broken, stop thinking ab…

If your communications with others aren't reaching them in a fashion they can understand, either you're communicating with the wrong people or you're communicating badly. Seems like maybe your criticism process could use some improvement.

It sounds like she's uncomfortable with healthy, adult sexuality - this might reflect a lack of self-confidence in her body/appearance, in her skill as a sexual partner, or the fear of moral judgment about enjoying sex or flirtation too much. Can you help her feel better about her attractiveness, her skill, and the appropriateness of enjoying sexuality and each other's bodies in the marital context? All but the most repressive environments/religions teach that it's healthy for men and women to e…

I've got no problem/argument with monogamy. I don't think a man who works, works out, reads, and spends time with his friends, date(s) or his family is likely to have a lot of time left over for serious video gaming. And a man who chooses video games over working, physical development, mental development, or social development/activity is a stunted child.

An adult who spends a significant amount of time on video games (or television, or other passive, unproductive activities) is wasting their life. A man's life should be more than just having fun, especially passive, prepackaged, carefully produced indoor fun staring at a screen.

This should be a lesson to all of us that the stupid ideas we're taught about relationships and what's important can have real, tragic consequences for men and women. She was apparently an intelligent, pretty girl who got so confused about what's important and not important that she ended her own life, when a reasonable (if not perfect) life was easily within her grasp. Men do this, too - either literally killing ourselves because of our own bad thinking about relationships (oneitis), or dying a…

Sounds like she's higher SMV than you and she knows it. Do you match or exceed her in intelligence, looks, and career success?

If she makes enough money to buy her own ridiculous shit and pay someone to clean the house, and keeps you happy in the bedroom, WTF are you so pissed off about? If you wanted a stupid passive woman you shouldn't have married a surgeon. Sounds like she's higher SMV than you and she knows it. Do you match or exceed her in intelligence, looks, and career success?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
