Sorry for the 4 year thread necro, but California has laws for this type of situation. Basically, there are rape charges, then there are less serious sex crime charges such as sexual penetration of an unconscious person and sexual penetration of an intoxicated person. IIRC both are general intent crimes, which means that even if he didn't INTEND to do this, he's still guilty of those crimes, which he was convicted of, alongside assault with intent to commit rape. TL;DR he still committed multipl…

I've not gone through any of them so I can't recommend any myself, but the in person ones are really good from what I know. Just know that they range from short term (6 weeks or so) to long term (2 years) so you should do the research yourself and find the one that will work for you.

I feel ya. I purposefully use dark roast beans to reduce the amount of caffeine and I also "water down" the coffee with milk that's about as hot as the coffee is. So I reduce the amount of caffeine while still having enough to give a benefit. It's the only way I can drink coffee without starting to SEE TIME due to my ADHD which has followed me into adulthood.

Bulletproof coffee is a good option for adding some MTC oil into your diet. It's not the best as a habit but it definitely works.

I'm pretty high body fat, what one would considered to be strongfat. I don't really have much ab definition because it's more like a slab of muscle than a defined set of abs thanks to all the core strength I've built up. Upside: I have great functional strength and I feel amazing. Downside: I look somewhat flabby when I'm not actively flexing my arms/legs/chest/gut. It's not too bad and I'm slowly working on dropping the body fat percentage, so it's going to take me longer than normal to have re…

If you want good abs, get core strength in general. I personally have seen benefit to adding Qi Gong to my routine. bodyweight resistance workouts are absolutely amazing for building core strength. As has been said in this thread, training abs in isolation will give them much more definition, but I personally would want to work towards having a truly strong and functional core before working on muscular definition. So work towards gaining functional strength with your ab workouts. Get that stren…

don't go for the 6 pack when you can have the entire keg. Just push through it and you can achieve it.

Take the advice in this thread, then go to /r/personalfinance and ask the same question there. Compare results and find the best option for you. In short, just invest it. There's good comments in here about it.

In the area where I live, it's basically the same. I'm Cuban-American, and so is the rest of my family, but we live in an neighborhood that is 75% white. The main dividing line in the neighborhood is the main boulevard that cuts through it east to west, and north of it is where most of the non hispanic, non black minority groups live. Racial tensions there are high as fuck, whereas south of the boulevard is really chill.

There might be stuff to learn if it's talking about first wave feminism, but 99% of the time classes on feminism are third wave propaganda.

no worries. I'm a peer mentor at my local college, as I'm a full time student there atm. that entails helping students with pretty much everything.

wow, you really necroed this comment thread. Yeah I'm still working on getting a website up for it but that's because I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I'm also trying to set up a website that aggregates free educational stuff, like the classes that are from MIT that are online for free.

This so much. my god this. I'm in game design, but I also do some computer work on the side and I've been working on creating a method for helping to induce hypnotic or meditative states using VR for therapy. I'm still in the paperwork to start an LLC so I can license the technology I'm creating to others, as it also has far reaching implications, as part of it uses things like infrasound and stuff like that to be able to induce various emotional states, which could be absolutely amazing in the …

Within my field, experience is key. Starting off you might make $50K a year or so, usually less (if solo and starting out it can be as low as $10K a year) but from my peers who graduated a couple years before me, they're already making $90K+ a year. Then again it's game design that's my field, and work can be INCREDIBLY stressful, so it's obvious that once you gain some seniority the wages you earn go up tremendously.

You just got yourself a new customer. I have incredibly oily hair, but stuff with sodium laurel or sodium laureth sulfate just makes my hair all stringy by stripping all that oil away.

Strangely enough, trigglypuff is actually right with the sign that she was holding. It had the autism speaks logo on it, so I'm assuming it's because autism speaks has no autistic members on their board and most of the money goes to trying to find a "cure" rather than community outreach and other things that people on the autism spectrum would benefit from.

I cannot wait until the experimental chemical based male birth control completes human trials and can be used. It effectively renders your sperm immobile, destroying their motility, and it leaves the vas deferens intact. All it takes is an injection under local anaesthetic, and has a recovery time of a couple hours. plus, in the event that you find a life partner who themselves have taken the red pill, you can have it reversed.

Doom metal is damn good too. I also like Symphonic Doom due to the interesting elements. Then there's the stoner band Samsara Blues Experiment. good for when you have time to listen to a full album.

THIS. I'm going to university for computer science and if I miss even one class I can fall so far behind that I would have trouble on all future assignments. of course I do fuck around sometimes but thats to learn MORE about computer science concepts through personal projects. For example, I found open source code for emulating a popular online game and I am currently recreating it.
