How or why is it not sensible? This is a niche society of a website on the internet for crying out loud, it is here for information and that is what people use it for. Informing and discussing with eachother, trying to raise awareness from within the sub. I see nothing wrong with ancillary discussion in either community. You speak as if each subreddit is a country vying for world domination through war.

Whoa man. Don't get overzealous here, there's nothing wrong with how your youngest brother is acting. Let them mature and be there for them by example. TRP isn't about being bitter towards women, you have the wrong concept here. Focus on teaching them to be their own person and that endless self improvement is a positive lifestyle. The rest should follow suit. That is fundamental RP knowledge.

Now I've never personally had a problem with a 'shit where you eat' type relationship with a coworker, because as long as the male (you) structure how your workplace interactions will go, there wouldn't be too much of an issue. This approach, as compared to the others here, seems a lot more blunt and up-front. The only problem I see is that it's a logical fallacy, as there can be proof for the failure of exclusiveness, but not for the vice versa (unless you are monitoring one another 24/7 :P). But then again, it being a logical fallacy is the reason it would work. To answer and avoid the question at the same time with a misleading idea.

But, I digress, that approach may have different implications for different people, as I would've taken an approach like this: Return with drinks, see man talking to my girl. Even more ironic, and a bit of a mind-fuck, is that the boys in marketing (a la Mad Men style) probably have a lot to do with this trend in feminism. 'We're worth it.' It's the L'oreal mentality. Consumerism, specifically advertising/marketing, moves how contemporary women think they should be treated. Definitely agree with your example here.
