The way you explain it, really sounds like bullying to me. But sexism 100% exists. You can’t ever change my mind. Anyone who doesn’t believe it exists is sexist themselves. However, it also goes both ways. Sexism towards women is real, but also towards men. There are enough stories and enough proof for both sides

Okay but why didn’t any of the other guys in the group have to deal with it? He hadn’t worked together with any of them, and specifically mentioned my gender when supporting his ‘opinion’ about me. The group mates called him out on it too.

I would love to see other men get treated this way then, because ignoring someone constantly. Never taking into account their suggestions, or just telling them to go do a girl task, while the rest gets treated normally doesn’t show me anything that this wasn’t sexism. And this wasn’t an unskilled area. I had just as much, if not more knowledge.

I have literally been told in a group project in university “to leave the conversation and go draw something” because I’m a woman. Women are 100% still being put on the sidelines in their work and study fields. I was just lucky that the rest of my groupmates weren’t sexist pieces of shit. On the work floor we’re not given the same chances yet in many fields.

As a woman, I can say that I have asked guys out.

I didn’t dare tell my parents someone attempted to rape me until weeks after. It happens a lot that rape and attempted rape won’t show up in the records. As a woman of 23, I know many other women with experiences with rape. It might just happen as much as the 1/3rd statistics. However, I believe the rape statistics might end up quite high for men too. This is also because men might not admit to themselves enough that they experienced rape. All genders are subject to rape. And it is wrong to deny…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
