Okay, based on that definition of "feminist" then yes i agree. I was going based off the broader term defined here: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/feminism. I think that is only partly true. You seem to be referring to the radical feminists. There are plenty of moderate feminists who simply want to be treated as equals. Those are probably the ones she is referring to. I have plenty of female friends who consider themselves feminists but are super respectful towards myself and other men. Try not to marginalize. There are good people, and there are bad people. Judge individuals, not groups. Otherwise you put yourself down to their level.

Study computer science. It is a very sought after skill set. I graduated in 2014 with my Bachelors and I am already paid six figures in Austin, Tx. You don't even necessarily need to go to University to get good at it and get a job (though it helps)
