I find the analysis extremely correct (women have less bargaining power because sex is commoditized). What I don't see in the article is the obvious conclusion: men are not, and should not provide for women because women don't have anymore anything valuable to offer. If they want to get married, they should approach the relationship (surprise!) as equal. Similar income, similar workload, similar expectations.
