Can you give me an example of a "relevant quip"? Seriously, I'm not fast on the uptake.

Well... Saying Hi and waiting for a "hi" back... or a "fuck you"... I guess either one would do.

I love this comment. It's true that they've rarely come up to me... but in my earlier days, I'd at least get a smile. lol I'm going to combine your suggestion with wakethfkupneo's this weekend... Will report back

You're right. I tend to lean (facing) on the bar and look to the woman in question. I guess I do that because leaning on the side looks like it's straight out of a movie.

Man I think this is more than just self-image/esteem issues. Look into your diet and sleep habits. Also - it's worth it to see a psychiatrist. You may need something to re-balance some brain chemicals. There's no shame in that, and it's often not a life sentence. As for talking to strangers about problems. They're paid to listen and keep their pie-holes shut afterward. Take advantage of it at least for the small problems. That way you have room to deal with the bigger issues. Not to mention the …

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you were (whether consciously or not) running a social experiment with these guys. Hook 'em and see how long you can keep them hanging. You were establishing your future worth as a woman. You were in these relationships for you, as opposed to the idea of "them" or "us". Eventually they saw that and moved on. I had a two year relationship in high school and we never once had sex. I enjoyed hanging out with her because she was fun and even turned me down …

This is me in a lot of ways. In my circle of friends I'm known as The Dick, mainly because I speak my mind without a ton of social filtering. In terms of success when it comes to picking up women - It really only works on the strong willed ones. They're not afraid to engage you. But that in itself is half the fun.

Hey. Sorry for the late reply, I've been on hiatus. I guess what it boils to is the effect you let others have on you. If someone can get under your skin, that means you have a level of respect for them... or that you're just angry at the world due to unresolved personal issues. A bit of strategy would be to understand what the other person is "up to". If you know they're trying to fuck with you, that speaks more to their intention. That is to say, they're more about messing with your head than …

Oh wow. Phew. Sure glad you one-upped me. What with all this bluepill blood in me, I was beginning to feel like a real man with all that upvote validation. Sure glad you're here to knock me down a peg... a whole peg. Informative and helpful, too.

I guess I don't have a lot more to add than anyone else here. Keeping you cool and smiling is definitely paramount in any fight. Fight a man with a smile on your face, it fucks with him something hard. Had a situation where I was teasing a woman and she went to slap me... just out of pure luck I managed to catch her arm before she made contact and spun her so her back was to me. I made the "tsk, tsk" sound in her ear then walked away. Didn't see her the rest of the night.

I'm not going to make this a debate about logic, religion, or any mix thereof. So my apologies if I offended you. But to an extent, both of you are right regarding my joke.

Ok - Let's start with The Manipulate Man: It is the most militant article I have ever read regarding women. I'm both shocked and amused that it was also written by a woman. For me, it breaks down like this: "Women are manipulative, self serving and completely evil. Don't listen to them.... Except me! You can listen to me... a woman. So here's me, a woman, telling you that you aren't a man and how to become one." If nothing else, the book is educational. Next: if you put the hook ups aside, you g…

"I've had no complaints" is a lot like "I've been told I'm beautiful" Best head I ever got was from a woman I was in a 69 with. First time I had ever been distracted enough not to do my part. I told her she gives great head and she said, "I know". Man, I miss her.

I have to disagree with you. Violent/Criminal people are largely alpha. It's just that their throttle is stuck on wide-the-fuck-open, and have a fairly distorted moral compass.

With respect to your religious beliefs... I don't think you're looking for TRP. TRP for the most part is sexual strategy plain and simple. There is a lot to be gleaned as far as becoming a more educated man (Read "The Manipulated Man"). G_d does not allow for objectification. That's the core of coveting; you want what doesn't belong to you. The way of getting what doesn't belong to you is either a) Take it, or b) Frame it in such a way that they believe they're giving it to you. TRP at its core …

Unless this guy and all his friends are super beta, you're inviting some pretty heavy retribution over a piece of ass. But what sticks out to me isn't you stealing her in front of her pseudo-bf. You're not playing your alpha across the board. Her friends obviously saw you running game and they don't believe you're an altogether good guy, let alone good for her. They see you as a player. You have to be able to handle drama and shit tests from EVERYONE, not just your target. Winner with the ladies…

I'm sure they do. I imagine it's difficult to keep a spam/troll free subreddit. So respect to the mods for setting standards. scottishredpill said it may be around 500. Which is fine, it could be a thousand for all I care. My goal here is to define that threshold. I think there are trp noobs/people building themselves to alpha that are getting dissuaded because some bot is basically saying, "You're not good enough". So I say that if there is a standard to be met, and the TRP mods truly want to e…

Your best bet is to find a Salsa or Ballroom club nearby. Most of them will have a free lesson night. It's not club dancing, but you'll learn a ton about leading and "feeling the music". And leading is what it's all about. Think of it this way -- just about every great rock guitarist (Randy Rhodes, Eric Johnson, Cliff Burton, etc) was classically trained.

This is great advice! I have a stylist I go to. I've developed enough of a relationship with her that she knows my personality, hobbies and job. I can sit in her chair and talk about whatever... an hour later I have the perfect cut for me. She's even able to make adjustments for when I have to really clean it up.

@Cold_August and macardent: This is what I mean by environment. I'm a work-at-home web developer but I work for a semi-corporate group. I have gauges and tattoos, but my hair is short and grey-ish. I'm able to mess my hair up, wear some rags and go jam at the bar... but when I have to attend a professional meetup I can pull up in a suit and just be seen as eccentric. Which happens to work well, because that's what they expect of a guy with a design background :-)

I see your point now. Actually, it falls in line with what I was saying. The woman standing farthest from the nucleus is either the one on the prowl herself and/or is the weak link in the chain. Either way, she's definitely the one to go for. Especially if it's for wet wick purposes. EDIT: But still I disagree with waiting till the end of the night. Those are usually the sloppy ones (in every sense of the word) with a TON of baggage. You might end up in a LTN (Long Term Nightmare).

Brevity is a virtue - You're talking and talking and not getting anywhere. I bring this to your attention because like froide said you're still trying to figure things out. Take your post and comments here and see if you can boil it down to 150 words or less. Then do that with every other facet of your life. Doing this forces you to only include the important parts; it forces you to decide what's fluff and what's not. The important parts are what you want. Once you have that in mind, you'd be am…

I'd say cut to your environment, the kind of woman you want to attract, and personal taste. Screw what the magazines tell you. Just make sure that whatever cut you go with, you feel confident enough to rock it. Nothing says, "poser" more than a good haircut on the wrong head.

I can't speak for the rest of TRP, but I personally find the desperate, drunk chick offensive and an horrible lay. I'm more likely to buy her a cab than a drink just to ensure her dumb ass doesn't get raped. And if she's not drunk and just desperate... this... this is where you set your bar? I'm not trying to troll you or anything. I'm just saying that breed of woman comes with waaaay more problems than she does solutions.

This looks like the classic scenario that most PUA sites talk about. It's also a perfect time to practice penetrating (no pun intended) and separating one from the herd. It's also a perfect time to practice grace after getting shot down if you're at that stage. Next time you're out, bring a buddy. Find the one standing furthest from the group. If she is dancing, give her an "It's ok, I'm not a creep" smile then start dancing with her. Have your buddy address the rest of the group or at least the…

In this case it would be the "fight" part of the response. More like, "It's time to get my seed in this chick before someone else does!" Still no... But that's what the rubbers are for.

... and he truly is demanding and gets off on the control... This is why they're usually not welcome in S&M communities. Most true sadists have little regard for boundaries or safe words. They tend to follow Justine like it were the holy book itself.

There's a lot of good advice here, bro. If you're asking these questions, my guess is that you're not ready yet. It also sounds like you're being led around by your mushroom tip. Think of it this way; if you don't have the courage to simply say you need a minute when under pressure, what's going to happen when she wants a bigger house, nicer clothes, or whatever random trinket for keeping up with Mrs. Jones? She may be the right one for you... maybe not... but it really sounds to me like you're …

The original American ideal was for checks and balances. I'm pretty sure they didn't have women in mind when constructing government ordinance, but it goes to show ya that any civilization can go to shit when only one person has all the marbles.

In the S&M community it's common practice to coddle and soothe the sub after she's been put into "sub-space". This is a little known fact about the community and one of the main reasons it's so popular with subs. As for the dom's... well they're usually betas who are turned into omegas so they can feel for a moment like alphas. It's the sub that is in control the whole time. When women read this book, it's not the acts that turn them on, but rather the vicarious power trip.

She has chosen a particularly nasty way to self sabotage herself tho. This has gone well beyond self sabotage, my friend. She's jeopardizing the health and well being of others as well. All things being equal, I'm sure the guys know the risk they're taking; but that shouldn't exclude her from being responsible and at least offering the option of informed consent.

It's hard to make a judgment call on a person from across the internet.... but if I did, I'd say your mouth writes checks your ass can't cash. You seek out the wrong crowd on purpose and it's a bit of a thrill for you when it comes to confrontation, whether you fight or not. Join a boxing gym and at least get your ass kicked with protective gear on and start hanging out at martini bars.

In the gay community there is a term called a "power bottom". It is possible to run the show and still get your kicks. Blue Pill submission is about helplessness. This is the pursuit of pleasure and finding that in controlled submission. Do you consider it a submission if she's riding you?

Part of being alpha is knowing your limits. Because you can identify your weaknesses, you can then measure and improve on them. Effort means you tried and fell short. This is a decisive action, not an effort in that direction.

Sounds to me like you need to keep your eyes open! If you're going to be brash and alone when you're out, a little strategy goes a long way. Always position yourself just out of reach. But if you end up in a fight, Learn to take the fight to the ground and/or stay really close to the person you're fighting. Punches don't hurt so much when he doesn't have room to wind it up.

Here's a few starters. Adapt as needed and use responsibly. -- "Jeeesus! You kiss your mother with that mouth? I thought I tasted shit." -- "heh - That's intelligent... I'd expect no less from a <state of origin | sports team fan | alma mater>" -- "Oh! That must be a time joke! I'll laugh when I have a minute" then do something distracting (pull out your phone, grab a beer, etc.) All the while, smile and shrug it off. They'll just knock on you harder if they know it gets to you.

If I can expand on the exceptional part -- Be awesome at something... anything, really. If she sees that you know your shit in one area, she's naturally going to assume you're just as awesome throughout. And IMO, "I'm not that kind of girl" == "You don't have anything I want".

Regarding the 48 Laws of Power: I find it a lot more fulfilling to tell someone that you're going to win and then do it. This book is all about Loki-esque manipulation; Dodge, deceive and do your best not to get caught. From what I've gathered so far about TRP, it's about the whole world knowing you're a badass and they're helpless to do anything about it. And the problem with Machiavellian tactics (in business, love or life) is that it's designed to kill your enemy... and you get no respect fro…

I had a girlfriend with the same problem... and I was no angel myself. Trying to control her with limits and rules will only push her away. Find a way to show her that it no longer matters to you, that you're capable of the same shit she's pulling. But I you say it to her, it won't have any impact. Once she sees your attitude/actions, she'll either straighten up or (with options open and all) you'll be on to someone who better fits your design.
