most women would argue that it is a miniature trauma to them so good luck

every movie i try to point it out i’m always met with the typical “you’re just insecure cause females are badass now and [any way to subtly mention women were actually always superior to men]”

Update: 12/16/22: She ended up getting the abortion after many long nights of her threatening to ruin my life. She will hold it over my head lol — still struggling to escape the relationship aspect after spending 3 months making sure it went that way. Idk when she did get the abortion “for” me; it makes me feel like I can just live with the rest of her — even if she said she’d never get another lol. the other half of me is debating moving out of my hometown when my lease is up in 7 months & i ha…

can confirm as a local public college student my philosophy teacher (has a doctorate & teaches many other classes) does “the rape talk” in ALL of his classes, which starts off with stats like: “if all men were gone, 99% of crime would disappear”. that’s just the opener; i loved the guys lectures but had to contain myself from walking out that day as he literally pointed the finger at all men in the class.

Me too lmfao The most judgmental groups I've heard in my entire life come from the conversations I've heard from groups of women that didn't think anyone was listening.

Being the perceived "privileged" gender, being the color with the best privileges (I'm white) and regularly being shamed for who I am. Furthermore, the tiny amount of support groups of the emotionally explorative men are considered to be the group most responsible for pushing "misogyny" and bigotry. Literally the entirety of my generation has grown up consuming hateful misandrist media and encouraged to treat men lesser than they have been. Simply because a handful of men who look like me happen…

currently in this position, gf lied about contraceptives and I'm at her will on whether I'll pay child support and have my life essentially ruined yes it's my fault to trust her to take her contraceptives but she coerced me into not using condoms too; still my fault but

It’s wise advice man

This explains my case pretty well — I’ve watched so many different men echo these scenarios but I was just so naive to trust her. I’d moved out of an abusive home & she invited herself one night and stopped leaving — I was won over & too “kind” to tell her to leave. Hell when I did she started breaking stuff, telling her she’d sit in her car in sub-zero temps; all kinds of messy things. I’m praying I don’t end up like all of these other men — I promised my parents for so long I’d never end up ma…

Thanks man. Take the advice seriously — i’ve been reading around here for so long and never thought MY girlfriend would do something so sick
/r/MensRights29/09/22 10:08 PM
2

the twisted part is that i’m dealing with being attractive now — as crazy or entitled as that my sound lol. In high school I was obese, but by college & after covid went through I became pretty good looking all around. Dealing with all of the women and figuring out which ones to trust & etc is sooo hard when i’ve been starved of even people looking at me for so long
/r/MensRights29/09/22 10:07 PM

you’d be correct.

I’ve gone to every appointment since we found out and we have on scheduled in 9 days from now. I don’t need you pressuring me to have a child from your innate fear of underpopulation. If I don’t want this kid and she lied to me; it’s fucked up of you to force that on me and tell me I should want to have it. Go have your own if you’re that worried about it; you can deal with all the adoption fees & papers of mine if it ever should go down that way.
/r/MensRights29/09/22 10:04 PM

Hi; honestly the sex always felt great and I preferred a condom as it helped me last longer: her pleasure is always my number one concern. She didn’t want to use condoms and I wanted to please her — I didn’t really have a preference either way; though my mind would be at ease if I got to keep using them. It was strictly down to her continually complaining & persisting I stop using them.
/r/MensRights29/09/22 09:58 PM
2

Had no idea a coalition for men existed — much less would be interested in taking this case. If she decides in 9 days that she will be keeping the baby things will turn from “love bomb” to a “threat bomb” in that I won’t be letting her walk all over me. I will fight for my justice as I have high amounts of evidence piled in case this ever did happen. We’ll see how it shakes out.
/r/MensRights29/09/22 09:53 PM

Tried to come up with an analogy similar to my situation and used the “male who lied about a vasectomy” and how there wouldn’t be any women in the comments saying “well your fault anyways it takes two to tango” this one you listed is much better. Thank you for your time; and she already flips the story by making ambiguous social media posts to convey the story of me being a shit partner. Every female eats it up.
/r/MensRights29/09/22 09:52 PM

Lmfaooo this one genuinely had me cracking up. Whether you’re joking or not; I’m not sure but it’s funny regardless. I should be grateful 🤣

Only gonna get ugly and threaten all sorts of stuff if I have to. I have plenty of proof & texts proving how much she lied throughout this entire 2 months prior to the pregnancy.
/r/MensRights29/09/22 09:34 PM
2

Thanks, she really did. She said it was my fault for trusting her and that I need to “grow up” [definitely wanted to say MAN up] and take responsibility for my poor choices. Fucking really.
/r/MensRights29/09/22 09:33 PM

I know.. After that appointment I’m debating on whether or not I should come back.
/r/MensRights29/09/22 09:33 PM

She’s a “social worker” at our local public college. I’m on my own so I’ve been using her as she’s free and close to where I live — she knows me well and to hear her shut me down and blame me seriously took a toll on me. I know right from wrong but when it’s from a much older adult within an educational faculty it really screws with your head. I’ve had at least 15 different appointments with her that went decently. Really fucked me up too man, probably headed for a new one sometime soon.
/r/MensRights29/09/22 09:32 PM

Thanks for the clarification. Only going this route if she decides she wants to be a mother in the next 9 days
/r/MensRights29/09/22 09:25 PM

She admitted it. I came in her (the time that lead to our current pregnancy) and said I was worried about that one as she’d just gotten off her period a day before — she said at first it’d only been 3 days since she had taken it. I knew she was lying and eventually got her to confess that it’d been 2 full months — the exact day Roe V Wade was repealed and we’d spent hours discussing our thoughts on it. The conversation lasted almost 4 hours and I was beaming at the end of it because of how well …
/r/MensRights29/09/22 09:24 PM

Really appreciate your thoughts on it; I have texts proving that, unfortunately no recordings.

lolll i sure wonder what religion you’re into or what your thoughts on Roe V Wade are i’m sure my assumptions are correct
/r/MensRights29/09/22 09:20 PM
2

I’ve been doing a pretty great job at holding my tongue but these are my thoughts exactly — as someone from a toxic home it’s disturbing to watch abusive characters (especially from your own SO) decide they’re ready to put a child through an environment like that.
/r/MensRights29/09/22 09:19 PM
2

While it might be a tad bit out of touch — I really like this analogy and idea. I hadn’t considered this perspective and will keep it in mind. Cheers bro

Tell me that when you’re the one in my shoes and actually experience her create destructive & disturbing lies.
/r/MensRights29/09/22 09:15 PM

Really sorry to hear about your situation brother. I’ve been here with her throughout the appointments & researching - we have it scheduled in 9 days from now. If I manage to escape this situation I’m 99% likely to disappear quickly after. I feel like I’m getting a second chance at life if she sticks to her word
/r/MensRights29/09/22 09:14 PM

I couldn’t finish reading; I have no idea how to help or what to do for these guys. Cruelty like this will be swept under the rug by all sides… My heart goes out to every damn one of them victims out there.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/09/22 08:10 PM

I never lied about condoms; not sure what made you think that. I did as she asked and stopped using them when she wanted. Thank you for the advice, I hope I can find a way out too.
/r/MensRights29/09/22 12:14 AM
8

Pretty somber advice; I know there’s tons of better women out there who will hopefully some day treat me better (albeit much harder if I already got a kid by 20.) Someone told me “You’re not fucked, you’re a father!” and this one kind of gives me those vibes. Thanks for the response

bro the hail mary is pretty much how i feel about it; glad a lot of you have the same idea i’ve been playing out. With how hard and crazy it makes me feel; it might end up being worth it because things between us (minus her snapping at the drop of a hat and breaking everything in her room) are going pretty well.
/r/MensRights28/09/22 09:33 PM

Nope; she’s 19 and I’m 20. No other history of kids or any of that
/r/MensRights28/09/22 09:24 PM
21

That’s how i’ve been playing it this far — and honestly with as fucked up as it might be — it’s strangely not a lie either. It’s crazy because I still can’t help that I love her — no matter how much she breaks my trust, devalues my personality & job, breaks things — before she entered my life I’d moved out of a very toxic home and think it may have something to do with trauma bonding.
/r/MensRights28/09/22 09:12 PM
22

trying my hardest — we have the scheduled the abortion for 9 days from now. She loves me a lot and i’m worried she’s gonna wanna change her mind and use it as a way to keep me around. Or just genuinely thinks she’s ready to be a mother. We’ll see, all i know is living together after all of this is living hell and i feel like i’m going crazy

Hi — I actually begged her to get the implant or IUD; she didn’t want to and said she trusted the pills. Still, yes I’m aware it takes two to tango — though I’m sure if I’d gotten a vasectomy, lied about it, then you saw this post on a feminist subreddit you probably wouldn’t have the same response. I accept responsibility and I’m not blaming her — only warning my other fellow males to be responsible and use a condom; should their “lovely girlfriend” randomly decide to quit taking them and lie r…

lol better hope you don’t become homeless — it’s not just the art or education board either. check out how $12k was given to only homeless women & those who’re trans there’s tons of links to haiti and other countries that only provide assistance to women & children, men are left to die; it’s only business as usual.
/r/MensRights25/09/22 04:36 PM

Read this one and it’s got me pretty upset — I remember girls spreading that sentiment of how “boss” it is to abuse men and voiced my concern; i was told they’d grow out of it and it was “only a joke.” These girls are indoctrinated by rape culture & otherwise to think these sorts of behaviors are acceptable. I’m so worried for our young men as it gets worse — this shit is intolerable wtf she didn’t even get punished by the school

Just wanted to say I’m really sorry that you’re “in the same boat” with all other victims of female abuse — I know how tough it is to feel so invisible when you’re trying to follow the exact steps and “seek help” like others tell you to. I’m sure I speak for most of us here when I say we’ll welcome you, albeit our seats being some of the worlds most uncomfortable. Feel free to reach out if you ever need support, we’re all here ❤️

As a man who just got pissed at my female “social worker” / therapist (public college things) lol i can relate. I’m learning that the empathy gap is hands down one of the deepest rooted issues we face as men. It hurts so much — I don’t have tons of great advice except for running (particularly trail running with headphones at full volume) really helped propel me in overcoming my depression and similar issues.
/r/MensRights20/09/22 10:59 PM
16

Stuck in the same boat man; see too many of my male friends hyperfocused on the right side with “buy my course to become a real man” and “all men should be circumcised at birth” from my college feminists friends. Drives me insane how polarized both sides are and how little anyone can actually seem to come together and find some common ground.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates20/09/22 08:33 PM

literally just happened to me man — gf of 1 year begged me not to use condoms because they were uncomfortable — after a few weeks i gave in. she’s pregnant now and thank god she’s going to get the abortion, but she lied to me for 2 months about taking her contraceptives. it’s sick man she held my legs and i thought she was kinky like that but she planned the whole damn thing
/r/MensRights20/09/22 08:24 PM

i mean some man probably came up with this product — where’s the wonderful women to tinker with robotics to make this a reality? I know there’s been tons of gender specific scholarships within robotics and all..

As a college student who sat through an ethics class with a professor literally yelling at all the male students “Stop raping women, if all men were extinct there would be no crime,” I know exactly what you mean. Not much we can do but fight back and hope MSM picks us up someday is how i see it
/r/MensRights18/09/22 02:07 AM

trying so hard to find the good within feminism, but man it gets hard when you’re really digging into the meanings & values and not just looking at the surface “feminism actually wants to do good for men too”

That type of mindset makes us just as bad as the dogshit TwoX and AskFem posts i read daily we already deal with tons of stereotypes and bad-faith assumptions, i personally just see that these types of posts add to it.

in-group bias from females and that not being found amongst males probably has something to do with the reactions on this post it just so happens both men & women find the suffering & humiliation of males funny man i hate this world

I think it’s going to take continued posts like these until we can get enough people to band together in taking a lead with our movement — I just hope & pray spaces like these make the right call in whose at the forefront of representation amongst us
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/09/22 07:40 PM

lol bro my ex still comforted me and expressed her distaste for misandry during our relationship — first post she made after we broke up after a year was “men ain’t shit” they’ll get away with it no matter what because of the empathy gap imo — best to just get over it and focus on what we can do.
/r/MensRights13/09/22 07:38 PM

sounds like you’ve grown up taking all the abuse for everyone else’s shitty life choices. hang in there man, i’m twenty as well out on my own in USA and it’s much harder than I thought it’d be regardless i promise having your own household and suffering traumas in search of something better is going to be worth it

i’ve had two classes now that i dealt with a fuck ton of misandry: one was an ethics class where he gave “the rape talk” which essentially was one where he awkwardly stares at the men and tells them “if men didn’t exist all crime would be gone and rape is the worlds worst thing that only men do” and my health science class that had a domestic abuse section — she spent the entire class referring to “her” as the victim and “him” as the perp. she went through a powerpoint of female domestic abuse s…

because posts like these are the first that some 18 y/o kid sees when he just got done reading all of his female friends posting “vasectomies should be required at birth if my rights got taken away” on their snap stories They feel the injustice and demonize all forms of feminism solely because there’s so much poor representation out there.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/08/22 09:22 PM

Jfc there are so many drivers out there male & female who do crazy shit like harass you for an incident that was likely their fault — it’s normal in metropolitan areas and i can’t believe shit like this gets 16.5k upvotes How in the actual fuck does this girl get a standing ovation for “this one guy did me wrong so men need to quit being toddlers & learn real emotion” every time i revisit these subs they just make me sad
/r/MensRights30/08/22 09:12 PM

i want feminists to understand that the amount of feminists similar to that of the post who feel they seek “their turn” for revenge heavily outweighs their estimates but i’m just so sure they’ll reply with “incels kill women so feminism is much better”

I don’t even bother with these sorts of comics or instagram propaganda posts — they’re the sort of tailored posts that satisfy the views a niche of women & young female teens that won’t even listen to a differing viewpoint. The sad part is that I doubt I or many others would publicly criticize something like this on a personal platform like Facebook. I try to stay away from posts like these because they’ll probably just make me feel hopeless

I’d never really thought about the empathy gap being heavily connected in allowing feminism to grow, thanks for pointing that out! Considering the amount of venting posts shared by men around these subs involving the empathy gap, I’m pretty confident in believing that it likely played a role in accelerating feminism’s global-acceptance & institutionalization. It bugs me to think that this phenomenon has been largely responsible in raising a generation of women that are enthused by misandrist cul…

Gender Discrimination don’t know why i’m linking conscription in Ukraine when you already see nothing wrong with young men being sent to die just for being men Even our teens are picking up on it

This is a huge blanket statement; imagine if someone else told you that you cannot be oppressed simply because of your gender. Please read further and genuinely try to empathize with us; there are tons of great subs that all use different techniques & ideologies to show you. r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates r/MaleMentalHealth r/MensLib I cannot believe that anyone could in good-faith say something like this. Hope well-written posts like yours catch some more wind around here; I love your fact-based arguments & all the support that brings the idea that gendered-abuse does in-fact influence tons of major decisions here in America. I really hope people can wake up because our young men (and many, many men) have been suffering from these ideologies being presented as fact in the media Genuinely can’t stand the fact you can only find great evidence & accurate portrayals within scholarly (often paid) sour…

Yeah, I definitely hate this one too. All the women I know are sooo quick to take one look at a man (who has no idea he’s being watched) and go “wow, he definitely looks like a creep.” or those who you can tell are on the spectrum have those small moments during conversations and I swear every time after they walk away all the women go “major creep, he was so weird. school shooter vibes” (that one’s reserved for mostly young adult females)

Welcome to the club — you’re officially hated by everyone if you believe in “Men’s Rights” if you’re not automatically a straight white male you’re a little better off — but after awhile you’ll be hated indefinitely because no one wants to hear about the struggles of the straight white male in America — or any male of any country for the record

Thank you! I’m sure feminists would love to believe women like yourself don’t exist or are suffering “internalized misogyny,” but I genuinely love when I see other women who see the hypocrisy & suffering young men are going through. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Can confirm the virtue signaling — no one cares about the story but at least with my gf i’ve confirmed it’s just a nice sentiment to spread; given the harsh words she spoke to me when i expressed full vulnerability and sadness. That being said I have a handful of female friends who genuinely do mean that when they say it and have been there for me when shits really rough. I find it a lot easier to open up to my close women friends than some of my close guy friends.
/r/MensRights02/08/22 07:13 PM

I feel this exact sentiment with a lot of other guys I know; never knew anyone else felt the same way. These are honest great guys who just happen to be a bit weird around the edges, yet, it feels like society outcasts them and makes sure they keep their distance.

Even going as far as to make a comment about the size of your genitals? I swear I couldn’t hold my tongue and would lose my shit at behavior like that. That’s disgusting. I’m sorry to hear you gotta out up with that shit — hope you don’t see her too soon again lmfao
/r/MensRights01/08/22 06:21 PM

tried that lol, no one really gives a shit. you can write a novel in a male mental health space and get a couple upvotes from men just like you; or you can listen to every male & female in your life pretend to care as they imagine to themselves “wow men do terrible things, i feel bad for him but hey, that’s men” i’m just jaded from watching too many women kind of shrug at finding out their female friends have SAd me or my friends

it’s lonely man, i’ve dated all kinds of women around here and they’ve all just grown up reposting “boys are shit tiktok dance” and promoting that sort that sort of sentiment; it feels like the “we gotta stick together against all men” type of deal. i’ve thought of an idea like “i should just quit dating all together until i move away from this area” but i digress
/r/MensRights29/07/22 10:39 PM

I’d agree, and maybe even-more so that young teenage boys are more emotionally vulnerable than their fellow female peers; most male relationships at those ages are very impersonal & shallow. Furthermore, these teens likely have grown up in a “men are always perps” & “the future is female”type of environment, so of course he’s going to fully believe the young female teacher wouldn’t do him wrong.

I can’t imagine being that kid; it’s gotta be god awful when you try so hard to be yourself and to be accepted and get treated like a genuine predator; I dealt with so much at that age that I don’t think I could’ve survived something like that. Huge props to the kid for sticking it out, and I really hope some day someone can come along and show him true love; i don’t think he’s going to be pursuing it much anytime soon.

flip the genders and absolutely no empathy for this young man who murdered an infant. Fuck that judge. Have thought about this question myself; and frankly; I think until our males suffer enough for MSM to give any half of a shit we’ll have 0 support. While we have an abundance of evidence that shows we’re suffering; it’s not enough for them to care because we’re the common enemy & perp in every single human rights group. All of the men dying & suffering mass injustice will all someday be worth something; but until our death rate gets high enough the majority of America and other modern countries…

I’m not sure what women you know; but the gender tribalism has only increased exponentially in my experience going through high school and now attending college. Even my well-educated female peers spread sentiments like “mandatory vasectomies at birth”
/r/MensRights26/07/22 11:51 PM

My girlfriend lashed out in anger when she didn’t know what to do when I was at that point; she said she lashed out in anger because she couldn’t help me Regardless when you’re being told “I hate seeing you like this” and “get your shit together” when you’re at the highest emotional vulnerability is a real soul crusher.

This is what keeps me up at night! I find 95% of my female friends of whom I have close relationships and genuinely respect just also happen to be borderline misandrist; i’ve seen tons of reposts for the “mandatory vasectomies at birth” sentiment and it genuinely makes me uneasy. I would love to comment and point out how much of a fallacy the arguments are; but I know better than to speak out, even as a feminist ally. Shit eats me up man I know all of the men around me are suffering.
