This. There are men who love giving oral. My late fiancé was one of them. I wholeheartedly agree with “guys should be crawling through broken glass to perform it on you.”

I think weed is ok because it’s not actually psychedelic. But used in moderation of course.

I’m so sorry. I’m in the same boat, my fiancé passed away last Friday. He was only 41. I’m so grateful to have had him in my life.

Men exaggerate when complaining about their wives. Sure she might have mental illness but whatever he’s saying might be far different from reality.

My ex’s mom always thanked me for taking good care of him. Constantly. I mean yeah this makes some sense if he’s ill, but I’m pretty sure it’s because he was a manchild.

Men might do this when they aren’t over their ex. I briefly dated a guy who spoke well of ex/past relationship. He roofied me. And he wasn’t over his ex. It literally had nothing to do with being a good person.

This is so gross. Also, 16 year olds can have tattoos with parental permission in some states. Simply having a tattoo doesn’t make someone 18. When I was 17 and working at a theater, an old man told me I had flirty eyes. I just asked him about his order and ignored his comment. So gross lol.

Bake him some brownies or Christmas cookies. It’s nice but not over the top and he would appreciate it.

I was married 6-7 years, no kids, and still managed to receive alimony spousal support. I was unemployed at the time and he probably would have owed me more but I asked for a specific lesser amount that the judge approved. So it can be useful but mainly if you make less, or are unemployed, or have kids, are disabled, etc. If you make bank and he doesn’t then don’t get married. This would never end in your favor.

They probably make some bullshit lie that it’s for the women (one night stands) who stay over lol.

Yeah, this is another important red flag for us ladies to know. Stay away from men that just want to use your services and mental labor for free. I don’t do this to anyone in my life. Not sure why men think it’s ok. They just go through life wondering how they can use people.

A lot of men get jealous when a woman is more successful or simply makes more than him. I knew this guy who was kinda a friend and when I landed a great higher paying job all he had was shit to say. He acted happy but then would tell me that he’d love to get paid what I get just to “greet people”. He dumbed down my job and made it sound basic. I don’t “greet people”, btw. I would have left a while ago from boredom if I was a greeter.

I match the price point that they generally spend on me. So I had to stop overspending when I realized they were not matching me. Maybe this can be different if you’re married, but even then, it should be once in a blue moon. Example: my boyfriend bought a purse for 150 and gave it to me for my birthday. So for his birthday I spent around 150 on a nice quality straight razor. Only do what you’re comfortable with. Also, see how they respond to gifts they are given. One year I spend like 400 on hi…

Jokes on them. We would all enjoy being single. Lol. My ex and his pickme mistress said this to me and I moved out anyway. And then just did a bunch of amazing single girl things.

Write a list of all the bad memories and look at it when you’re feeling nostalgic about him.

I used to do the whole knife and pepper spray thing, but I invested in a Glock 43x 9mm. It is Glock’s most compact handgun and it has little kickback so it is great to shoot. Get a conceal carry license if needed. I realize this isn’t what most people consider, but it’s worth it. There are many resources online and even workers at gun shops can show you gun basics to start. I feel so much safer with a handgun and gun knowledge.

I think it’s great as long as it’s affordable. I never hired a PI for my ex and don’t have closure or know if he cheated. I broke into his phone once and found something that was a dealbreaker for me. If you are treated poorly or feel you deserve better, then just leave, whether or not you have the truth about him through detective work.

Men just lie and lie. There’s no fucking way he works 80-100 hours weekly and still does all the house work. That’s like 16 hours a day. So he goes home and cleans and sleeps for only like 4 hours? God men are so absurd.

I mean, the woman is a millionaire. A lot of LVM will stay with a woman who makes bank simply because they like money, not because they’re good men.

I handle it by not being their friend. If they act like they are secretly jealous, it’s because they are. They will never root you on in life the way a true friend will.

The women who are poly are insecure in some way. They are being pickmes to keep their LVM or trying to be the cool girl who isn’t like other girls. Another thing I have to add is men don’t want to “share” women they actually love.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. My current boyfriend does NOT know my deepest traumas. My ex-husband knew it all and oh god he used it against me. He even took it and told his mistress everything - it was the ultimate betrayal. The fact that he did this was like worse than his cheating. Never trust men with your traumas!!

No because if an out of his league lady pays attention to him, it makes him think less of her because in his mind he knows that he is a piece of shit so would never get a woman out of his league. Men are crazy. There is no sanity to their thought process.

I know it would be nice and all to tell his gf, but he might react badly to this. I'd be concerned for my safety in this scenario. I would just slowly fade from his life instead.

A lot of men hate cats. And yeah they're probably LVM. I never had cats until now but when I was a teen my family had a pug and some Chihuahuas. My then boyfriend came over and treated my pug like he was the most disgusting animal. It made me think less of my ex boyfriend and question our compatibility.

The ones with a nice car and mechanic knowledge are great. I am definitely into that. It's nice to have a man who takes care of my car as well. My ex husband would always return my car to me broken so definitely not interested in the low value types who can't respect their own cars or anyone else's car.

My ex "accidentally" tore my Bachelor's diploma. He acted clueless all the time. He also frequently broke parts in my car. It got to a point where I couldn't trust him to borrow my car.

I am so happy FDS is back too and very grateful to be a member. I know I don't post much, but I read and upvote all the time. I'm learning so much valuable information. Thank you FDS!

Definitely! I meant more like 18 but whichever works. A woman hired me to help with her infant and she would go to the store or gym and I was only 12 or 13. 😳

I am naturally medium brunette but I bleach it platinum blonde. I feel I look more beautiful and get more attention this way because otherwise I looked mousy or plain Jane. On the other hand though, people don't take me as seriously. I've debated on going back to brunette and the blonde is a lot of upkeep.

You can wear as little makeup as you want. If you want to learn how to apply more, it takes practice. Watch tons of YouTube tutorials on applying makeup- that's how I learned!

If your work is paying pay it, you should definitely get a bachelor's degree. Even if it's in something you don't like in the future, it will help later on for getting into jobs or going to grad school. My brothers wife worked in chemistry field but then she got her MBA (masters business administration) which opens up other possibilities.

We're around the same age (27F) and I've had similar concerns. I believe men will always find younger women attractive. The difference is or what really matters is how they go about it when in a committed relationship. If they stare at women or flirt with them, cheat, then obviously they're being shitty people. When dating someone over time you will notice how they respond to attractive women being nearby and then you'll have to decide if it's ever a dealbreaker. It most often isn't a dealbreake…

Suggest he take a drug store marijuana test first. It can be out of the system within days. Synthetic urine can also be bought at smoke shops locally.

The way you can "care less" is by focusing on yourself and having interests and hobbies outside of your relationship. It will help you feel fulfilled, your mind on other things, and it will also help you appear interesting to your partner.

You can't control him. No one can control anyone. If he wants to use steroids then so be it. You can tell him you care and just want him to be ok. If he isn't harming himself or you then there really isn't an issue here.

Well at least he acknowledged that your feelings may have been due to him. From what it sounds like, he also isn't in the place to appropriately celebrate your successes and it's due to stress. Let him know that you were hoping for a different response but also understand him. Also, tell him you find therapy helpful even if it was depression because of grad school. You just need more of his support and it's ok to let him know.

He's clearly obsessed with her and this is disrespectful to you and your relationship. It can lead to an emotional affair. If you talk with him and stay, he needs to stop completely and respect you.
